  9. So I'd say the odds are pretty good that it will be Trubisky vs. the Panther. Why? Because I have tickets to see this game, which will be my first Bills game in person since 1974, so naturally Josh will be hurt. smh.

  11. Now watching Get Back on Disney+. This is essentially a 9 hr fly on the wall documentary pieced together by Peter Jackson from audio and video recordings made over the course of 3 weeks in 1969 while the Beatles were writing and rehearsing for a planned live TV "come back" performance. If you are a Beatles fan, or are curious about a glimpse into what was essentially the final days of an iconic band, this is a must see. I am 1/3 of the way through, and am totally fascinated. A couple of observations: - Paul & John absolutely drive this bus, with George and Ringo (in particular) as passengers. George even gets off the bus at one point, quitting the band about a week into the project. - Yoko...ugh - Very cool watching them work through the early stages of what will become all-time classic songs. The scene where Paul is working out Let It Be on the piano, and the fact that it's portrayed primarily as background audio while the main scene is John and the director discussing stage options for the live performance, is amazing. I was like "People! He is writing Let It Be RIGHT NOW and no one cares!" Great stuff
  12. Like a million little doorways All the choices we made All the stages we passed through All the roles we played So many different directions Our separate paths might have turned With every door that we opened Every bridge that we burned

  14. Hello, I love you, won't you tell me your name? Hello, I love you, let me jump in your game
  15. +1 on this right here. On 1st & Goal from the 6, if he bounces outside he walks into endzone. Instead he cuts back in and right into the arms of the D...and since none of our RBs can break a tackle, it's now 2nd & Goal from the 6 (followed by a sack, followed by an incomplete. followed by a missed FG)
  16. All is for the best Believe in what we're told Blind men in the market Buying what we're sold

  19. I had no desire to watch the new "in season" version of Hard Knocks on HBO, but happened to catch part of the episode that featured the Bills game. As much as I hated that game, I gotta say that I love Frank Reich. There was a scene where he was eating dinner the night before the game with Bruce Smith and Steve Tasker, and what he said about the talk he was going to give his team that night was maybe the greatest bit of Hard Knocks I've ever seen. Frank gets it, knows what matters and what doesn't, and comes across as a genuine guy. Hard Knocks in general...meh. Frank Reich on Hard Knocks? A+

  25. Silver lining for me is that all of the "championship caliber team" talk can finally stop and we can just sit back and see how this team responds to their "average-ness". While I haven't quite slipped back into my No Expectations mode, I can see it from here.
