  1. Liked the Drake from State Farm one. The Toyota commercial (which never mentioned cars at all and only had Toyota logo at the end) about the para-olympic swimmer hit home with me (old sap that I am). Not sure why, but I laughed out loud at the short Zyrtec commercial near the end of the broadcast with the guy having a sneezing attack during outdoor couples yoga/stretching. Alexa commercial with Michael B. Jordan was great...as someone else mentioned, I was a bit surprised that the "wet" comment made it through.
  2. Isn't that Tarzan? Ron Ealy (not sure of that spelling)?
  3. I turn my face to the sun Close my eyes Let my defenses down All those wounds that I can't get unwound I let my past go too fast No time to pause If I could slow it all down Like some captain, whose ship runs aground I can wait until the tide comes around (Time stand still) I'm not looking back But I want to look around me now (Time stand still) See more of the people and the places that surround me now
  4. Can we get an Ataboy for Ataturk?
  5. Sunshine go away today I don't feel much like dancing Some man's gone, he's tried to run my life Don't know what he's asking He tells me I'd better get in line Can't hear what he's saying When I grow up I'm going to make it mine But these aren't dues I been paying How much does it cost, I'll buy it The time is all we've lost, I'll try it But he can't even run his own life I'll be damned if he'll run mine, Sunshine
  6. Baby Breakdown Go ahead and give it to me Breakdown honey take me through the night Breakdown now I'm standing here can't you see Breakdown, it's alright It's alright It's alright
  7. I looked in the mirror today My eyes just didn't seem so bright I've lost a few more hairs I think I'm, I'm going bald
  8. This video is a nice encapsulation of what I hate most about Brady...nothing is ever his fault. It's always the receiver, the coach, the ref, etc. who f's up, never him. Can't deny his success and record, but Tom has always been the ultimate "me" player.
  9. Then it's gotta be John Dillinger.
  10. Looks a bit like Bill O'Brien, but no way that it is given that this looks like a WWI-era picture.
  11. We're on the train to Bangkok Aboard the Thailand Express We'll hit the stops along the way We only stop for the best
  12. I know lots of totally useless stuff.
  13. So, based on the profile and, I'm guessing, the 1950's era picture, I'm going with Ben Hogan. He was given a NYC ticker tape parade after his first and only British Open win (in his first and only British Open appearance).
  14. 99% sure it's Float On by Modest Mouse. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTAud5O7Qqk
  15. I'd only be mad if they get there and lose to the Bucs and f'ing Brady...and only then because of all of my d-bag Pats fan friends will try to claim it as a victory for them in some twisted way. "Yes, I am sure they will be back." - Dan Marino
  16. Young enough not to care too much About the way things used to be. I’m young enough to remember the future — The past has no claim on me. I’m old enough not to care too much About what you think of me. But I’m young enough to remember the future And the way things ought to be.
  17. Oui. tres bien. I figured my using the word "connection" in pretty much every answer was also a pretty big tell
  18. hmmm...I do think he still holds the record for most games played (talk about giving away the answer...sacre bleu)
  19. Yep, for a loooonnng time. He and the Sabres had/have quite a connection
  20. Yes, his connection was with hockey Nope.
  21. Nope, his connection was not with the Bills.
  22. Well, I guess we'll see if anyone is still playing along. An easy one... Male, alive, strong Buffalo connection
