Played a mother on a network "not a sitcom" tv show based on a book. Don't know the actress's name, but is this the mom from Little House on the Prairie?
Looks like some TED Talk type who preaches happiness and fulfillment by listening to your inner child...
...or perhaps a "celebrity spokesperson" for the Medicare Coverage Hotline
Wish I read this before my wife and i watched it to other night. Almost as bad as the other Melissa McCarthy movie from earlier this year, Super Intelligence. Gotta stop watching Melissa McCarthy movies.
To add some recommendations to this list:
- Letterkenny (Hulu) - life in a VERY small Canadian town...it's the hicks vs. the skids vs. the hockey players. It has a unique cadence to it, so give it a few episodes
- Mr. Mercedes (Peacock) - based on Stephen King book(s). Brendan Gleeson is stellar in this
- The Nevers (HBO Max) - Just watched the first episode but really intriguing premise and am interested in seeing where this goes
- The Boys (Amazon Prime) - I know it has been discussed in this thread, but the whale scene in season 2 alone is worth the price of admission. If you are easily offended (especially by the use of the C word), stay away.
'Cause I'm a picker, I'm a grinner
I'm a lover, and I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun
I'm a joker, I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker
I sure don't want to hurt no one
I turn my back to the wind
To catch my breath
Before I start off again
Driven on
Without a moment to spend
To pass an evening
With a drink and a friend
All this time we’re burning like bonfires in the dark
A billion other blazes are shooting off their sparks
Every spark a drifting ember of desire
To fall upon the earth and spark another fire
A homeward angel on the fly
A wave toward the clearing sky
I'm coming home
I'm coming home
Tell the world I'm coming home
Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday
I know my kingdom awaits and they've forgiven my mistakes
I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Tell the world that I'm coming home
Baby, breakdown, go ahead and give it to me
Breakdown, honey, take me through the night (baby, baby, breakdown)
Breakdown, now I'm standin' here, can't you see?
Breakdown, it's all right
It's all right
It's all right…
Never would have got that name without cheating. He is definitely one of those "aren't you that guy who was in that thing?" kind of actors, with a face (as an adult, anyway) that you immediately recognize but can't name him or probably more than one or two things he was in.
Janie's got a gun
Janie's got a gun
Her whole world's come undone
From lookin' straight at the sun
What did her daddy do?
What did he put you through?
They said when Janie was arrested
they found him underneath a train
But man, he had it comin' Now that Janie's got a gun
she ain't never gonna be the same.
My first guess was also Josh Brolin, but you already said that's not him. Then you go ahead and give us the "rusty" hint, which must be a character name, but the only Rusty that comes to mind is from National Lampoon Vacation, and this pic looks nothing like either actor that played Rusty.
So, while he may have made a living as both a child and adult actor, is he more famous as one than the other?
