Silly comparison. McDermott has a commanding presence that the players can respect. Jauron couldn't inspire a starving lion to eat a plate of prime rib. I'm concerned about McDermott's game management skills but nothing else.

That may be the lowest-scoring NFL game since our 6-3 thriller against the Browns in Jauron's final game in 2009.

Have to take the fact that he was facing one of the worst pass defenses in the league today into account. But he played well in the end so let's see how he can do against the Raiders. One game at a time.

In looking at this, imo PFF does not place nearly enough value in "big time throw percentage" and "time to throw." And they probably put too much value in "turnover worthy throw percentage". This helps Taylor's PFF grade immensely.

If the head coach and many front office figures covered up the actions of a serial pedophile assistant coach who was raping children inside the facilities then I would certainly be done with the team. Of course, many here aren't done with Ped State and they still somehow convince recruits to go there and they pack the stadium every Saturday so I'm sure the franchise would recover because human beings can rationalize anything if it's in their own self-interest. But I would be done, personally.
