  1. The Donald's mouthpiece has said their bid is in. Donald says his bid probably won't win and that he will not throw crazy money at the purchase. translation: He is not as liquid or rich as he wants to have people believe. saw it n the scroll no link
  2. Personally, for me I would have to get paid a lot to drink Genny Cream Ale.Even more if its a night before a cross country flight
  3. Jon BJ needs a lot more support than Kraft and Jones and even the commish. he needs 3/4 up votes from the owners.maybe Ralph was more respected among owners than known. he certainly was correct on a couple of things awhile back during league meetings. His chances are not better than anyone else's by a long shot. For one his pockets are really not that deep. the Canadians will not win a bidding war.
  4. Well, it was probably something he should not have said. But, if anyone thinks for a second that say Thurman moved back to WNY because he likes to shovel snow. I would say doubtful. Andre has done a lot. he gave profits to charities on his barbecue sauce and put in on the line for the team when he was here. Not many are delusional enough to think someone would move to Buffalo because of the nightlife, or because Of the great financial opportunities and work the area provides. What did I forget? yea, taxes.
  5. Whaley overpaid for the guy. But better than dumpster diving in week six if someone goes down. Cj looks like he will break out again this year, the running game will be great if everyone stays upright. And the QB learns how to slide, when flushed out.
  6. Somewhere deep in the man cave and unpacked we have two tickets for superbowl I They say Green Bay packers vs. Buffalo Bills. Got them decades ago. back then for the conference championship the NFL printed up the different combinations. and we got our hands on two. What it could have been The bIlls in the first superbowl. I believe there was only one week between championship games and the superbowl.
  7. There are literally dozens of them. But these two standout for the obvious reasons. The look on Jones face in the owners booth was very painful to witness, and took days of vodka therapy to recover from it.
  8. Although only here for a short time, one of the greatest Bills ever. I got to buy his book. If you wanted a bad ass MOFO he was your guy.
  9. maybe her publicist is trying for an endorsement contract? based on fabricated hype. Too pretty? hardly.
  10. I think this is the correct scenario. I thought it took place in a conference room. no cameras runningWhat a scene it could have been with Jim Rome there.
  11. A Diet heavy in crab legs was the reason for his good season.
  12. Threads like this bring the quality of this board down.
  13. We went to that game it never disappointed. Starting with Bruce running out for warmups, and doing a lap around the field holdng his helmet high. Bills fans went nuts. After the game the scene was crazy by the Bills busses. They could not clear Bills fans for the busses to leave. A couple thousand fans going nuts. The team was still pumped, you do not forget Sunday's like that.
  14. Has Hairston had any RT reps? I thought he was originally drafted as a tackle? Is it the old "short arms" thing?
  15. Nix getting catfished may have had something to do about that. He was less than flattering to the very guy he handed the keys too.
  16. If I remember it right. They were high on Moeaki when they siged him.Injury history and all. I believe without looking it up he has 1 mil guarnteed this year.I don't think he would get cut for a hamstring injury.
  17. No one is giving a first for a 27 year old back. Didn't the eagles ask about CJ earlier this year? Well he is still here and will be on opening day running up the middle. I wish someone would offer a first for hack-it though.
  18. I don't know but I think that win was in 75. The year after the Steelers had that monster draft.Which in hindsight made it all the better. These days everyone gets giddy beating the Jests.
  19. He's special because he had 83 yards receiving last year (or is it career yardage)? These players don't grow on trees.Ruvell Martin couldn't put up gaudy numers like that!
  20. Your thoughts on how replaceable running backs and pro bowl safety's are apparently no longer valued are clear. What are your thoughts on offensive guards and well even left tackles being easily replaced. because until Glenn got here that was a huge issue, and well the guard spots are really up for grabs now, IMO that will continue to be an issue this season. Overpaying for someone else's first round garbage just doesn't feel like a sound investment at LG. Especially when some tout the HC as some kind of O-Line guru. I would be stunned if CJ was traded or not resigned to a reasonable extension. I'm pretty sure he knows his value in the league. he is a complimentary player not a every down back. never will be.the market is aware of that. very few teams would pass him up at the right price. Bills included.
  21. What are your thoughts on a "waterbug" running back and running him up the middle the whole season? Like clockwork, even after it failed game after game. High ankle sprain be dammed. as much as I was a huge critic of Gailey. i would submit he would do wonders as a OC For this team today, including the three QB's none of which had any real NFL experience. But, That disaster would fall on the HC Who deserves more time for sure. Why there is no veteran QB on this team is mind boggling. In his defense though, i found Thad to be exciting when he was in there except for the fumbles. looking forward to the Dolphin slayer getting some playing time this year. At least he lets the deep ball rip.
  22. I would add the OC should be dropped to. I have never been a fan of cronyism, while their at it can Crossman today.I don't buy the lack of ST player argument (2013) for a second. Could they be improved? well every team will say so. But he simply sucks as past records show.
  23. Anytime they win it is exciting. On average I am excited about the team about 6 Sundays a year. It used to be 7 then they hired Nix. Who I will never forgive him for this comment " were closer than you think". The first SB was pretty darn exciting though. Holding on to beat the jets in the 80's when Smerlas blocked the FG with the clock running out was pretty exciting if you were at the game. They won the division and down came the goal posts.
  24. Epidurals are great until they wear off. if its 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 16 weeks. For me it only increased depression. As for opitates cannot agree more. Acupuncture for me anyways was extremely short term. have a 3pm appointment walk out feeling good and in full blown spasms by 7 pm that night. i did years of it. Chinese, French you name it. Chiro well thats a friggin joke if you have herniated disks, that always caused more pain than it was worth. Now seeing an Osteopath using pressure points and that would provide some longer term relief. Disctomoy's well be dam sure the disc above and below are at 100% because my operation failed since the damage above and below could not be seen by a simple MRI. It took a diskogram to figure it out. Talk about painful. In the SF bay area, the best and I went to them all was Dr. Ken HSU from St. Mary's spinal clinic in SF. He is older now and has taught his approaches to others. i have sat in the office and talked to people that had flown in from Sydney Australia to see him. he is a groundbreaking surgeon and extremely conservative. he tells it like it is. Dr. Hsu is also known as the doctor who saved Joe Montana's career If he is still around I recomend him or any of his sidekicks there.
