Colts @ Chiefs (AFC Divisional Round) GDT - NBC 4:35 pm
JerseyBills replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks man. Yeah North and South Jersey are almost like two different states. Yeah there's definitely a huge misconception about the state but I don't let it bother me. The property taxes and real estate market are brutal up North especially. I appreciate it my friend!! I have some family down in Tom's River . I'm a very outspoken Bills fan , everyone knows im a die hard fan , so I've been hearing it for years. It was BRUTAL when they had some success with Rex , OMG , it was unbearable! -

That Charger team is no joke. They have it all. Elite QB , WR,RB , pass rush , Secondary . They're extremely dangerous -

I'm in North Jersey , Bergen County . About 15 min from NYC and MetLife stadium. Surrounded by Jet n Giant fans , it's remarkable the difference in the fans , Giant fans are so much more classier , to the extent that you'd think they played in different states. You familiar with North Jersey at all? -

Gotta tip your hat to the KC defense too. They were ready , and that's a brutal stadium to play a game of this magnitude. Man , I can't wait to see some playoff games at New Era. Those clips from the 90s are amazing! Fantastic atmosphere, huge home field advantage for Buf -

Couldn't agree more. If you just gave him a good OL, which I anticipate he'll have next year , it will open up the whole O. Both will be superstars for a long time imo. I think Allen might even fit But better , as far as personality. I think both franchises are winners from the trade. We got a cornerstone at MLB and CB and both will be great QBs imo. Well, Mahomes already arrived , I too expect a huge jump next year from Josh , as far as consistentcy. Future looks extremely bright -
OL - I think we desperately need 2 above average OL. I like Teller and Dawkins and one of Mills/Miller. 1 above average - elite WR. I'm higher on Zay and McKenzie than most and feel Fosters numbers speak for themselves. So I like that young trio , would obviously love an elite WR but not sure that's possible via FA , def need at least a #2 caliber veteran WR though. TE - All depends on how they view Croom and if they want to keep Clay , I feel Clay gets alot of flack but he's a very good blocker and just had a down year receiving and dealing with injuries . He's a good athlete and if they feel Croom can progress , draft a TE on day 2 . DL - Think Jordan Phillips is a lock to re-sign and ? is a def starter but would love a top end rookie talent to join the rotation with those two and H Phillips. Also while not a pressing need, would LOVE a great edge rusher opposite Hughes. A DeMarcus Lawrence could put this D over the top with Shaq, Murphy and (likely) Lorax rotating in . RB - I'm also alot higher than Shady than the majority on here , think he still has the juice to be a #1. I think the OL severely hurt him in the run game , he was still a force in the pass game though. Would love to see a 1A 1B situation with a top end RB talent through the draft or FA. Bottom line- OL is the key and will open this offense up big time imo. We also have a ton of flexibility and have the luxury to go in so many directions in FA and the draft , can execute a variety of trades. The future just looks really bright for this franchise and I love how they went about rebuilding this roster and left themselves with all this flexibility in a crucial off season!

Mr Decoy, Sammy Watkins expected to play vs. Colts
JerseyBills replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah it looks like something he's going to deal with the rest of his career. Just gotta manage it. I remember back when it happened, ppl were comparing it to Julio's foot injury , hasn't worked out the same for Sammy to say the least. Man Mahomes has weapons galore Absolutely. At 16 mil per he should be -
Tremaine Edmunds - Season Highlights
JerseyBills replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A huge reason we had the #1 pass D and he really progressed in the run game as the season went on. Going to be a cornerstone of this Defense for many many years. The great part too is the article a couple weeks ago of Kyle kind of taking him under his wing to be a leader off the field . Kyle said he saw something in the way he prepares that was beyond his years and basically is passing the torch to Tremaine to lead this defense. Hyde said around week 7-8 that this kid will have a gold jacket one day. Said his size and speed is unreal and he never makes the same mistake twice. Very high praises from some respected veterans. We're in great hands with Edmunds in the middle of the D for the next decade -
Greg Roman promoted to OC in Baltimore

Master at the vrun game , probably as good as it gets in the NFL. If they maintain an elite defense, that's a tough outing for any team . But if you're going to go on a playoff run, you're going to run into some teams where you have to pass to win. LA just did what every team did against us in 2015, ,sell out to stop run and make Taylor beat you with his arm. And Tyrods a better passer than Lamar imo. -
Bills 2018 Season Highlights in 3 minutes

Truly feels like something special is brewing with this team . They could realistically take off next year and be legit contenders in the AFC for a long time. How is KB still in the NFL. Such a waste -

Shady throwing shade at Bills O lineman

Not sure if posted but Shady commenting on Quinton Nelson of Indy ,who is a BEAST , saying " I want one of those" . Can't blame him. -

Agree 100%. He showed the glimpses that make him rare. He's still a very very nice chess piece to have on O -

Agreed. Shady is a beast in the pass game though. Like to see him in a 1a 1b situation at RB for next couple of years. But I'm of the opinion he hasn't lost nearly as much juice as his numbers suggest -
WR Duke Williams of CFL’s Eskimos Signs with Bills
JerseyBills replied to LEBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hey I like it. Beane found Foster and McKenzie , Foster looks like he can have a huge impact in this league. McKenzie is super dangerous with the ball, is more of a Swiss army knife. Can return punts too. Starting to regain my trust in Beane and his scouts ability to find WR that will make an impact, after he bombed on the KB trade. -
Haven't read through pages. Are people finally opening their eyes and seeing that Lamar is just not an NFL caliber passer? I've been saying for the last month he's basically Tyrod 2.0. Lamar the better runner, Tyrod better passer. Lamar is terrible at reading coverage and usually gives up after his first read. He's just awful as a passer overall It boggled my mind to see national journalists rank Jackson above Allen. Based mainly on his record which was all due to a great D and great scheme for the run game. Again, It just boggled my mind so many local Bill fans and national "experts were so high on the kid. I had him 5th out of the 1st rounders, behind Rosen. You run into a great defense and they eliminate the run game, make him beat you with his arm , the Ravens winning percentage goes down very Low...By far the most overrated rookie out of any position, imo.

Yeah you're 100% right. Just cause a QB is making that type of money it doesn't mean the team will suck. It does mean however , that they don't have as much flexibility in the draft and FA . Have to be smarter and more efficient with their spending. N.O has had a couple really good drafts and that's a huge reason why they have a bye this weekend

Sean McDermott’s Current Approval Rating
JerseyBills replied to BillyWhiteShows's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We're a few pieces from realistically being legit contenders. I feel McD and Beane both had the same vision and blueprint on how to build a long term , sustainable , winning team. They took their time , took on the dead money , lowest active roster this year, basicallysacrificed the last two years to be in this current position. 90 mil in cap , while losing no major FA, besides a 35 year old Kyle and Lorax, who we can re sign for a very reasonable contract. McDermott is a natural HC and gets so much out of his players imo. Think he'll be here a long time. I think 2019 could be the start of something special for the Bills . -
AFC Wild Card: Colts at Texans 4:35 ESPN

Bill Obrien and Watson are criminally overrated. Bill got outcoached big time today , Colts made it look easy , on the road . Very impressive and dangerous team. Legit SB contenders. Some Homer Thoughts - If I'm a GM , I'm taking Allen over Watson. That'd get Ugly for NE!
