  1. This is how I'm feeling. I think Daboll and McDermott will learn from the Houston game and do some growing , adjusting and upgrading of their own. Glad he's back
  2. I was on a podcast before this game and said this exact statement , that Tenn has a similar defense and Buf laid the blueprint , predicted Lamar would be super ineffective. Wasn't hard to see. He's a 1 read QB that uses play action as a crutch , is terrible at going through progressions and reading a defense , ppl just get enamored with the jukes and stuff but that's not sustainable for any QB. Whether through injury or great defense , a QB will never be able to win a SB relying on his legs for the majority of his success. Even his pass numbers are all a result of the run game
  3. Would be very interesting matchup . We did beat them in Nashville with Mariota and Tanny is obviously a huge upgrade but he has under 200 yards combined in the last 2 weeks and McD had great success vs him in his 4 meetings. I think it'd be a similar game as week 4 , just sell out on stopping run
  4. The gimmick stopped working. Made Lamar ineffective on the ground and actually make reads and go through progressions , something he is horrid at. I feel like Buf laid the blueprint on how to stop him and Tenn took it to another level.
  5. Yes the Chiefs and their fans are estatic I'm sure , but the Texans have to be feeling the same , potentially being able to host the game as well. I think the Chiefs are happy to be playing Hou over Buf. But that Titan team is no joke. They are basically the Bills with a potentially all time great RB. Tannehil has 160 yards combined these past 2 weeks! I kept thinking , why did Dabol stop running Motor , who was on fire imo and in the zone . Ugh.
  6. Wow I just made this post after re watching the game! It's heartbreaking. This place and the fan base would be on fire today with that on the line. On the bright side , it looks like the AFC is going to be wide open for the forseeable future and I'm very confident we will be back next year and years to come
  7. Sorry to bring this up , I guess I'm just not over the L yet and I know everyone is aware of this and it just makes last week that much more heartbreaking. Re watched the game, and we were clearly the better team that day , at least for 47 minutes. Unfortunately just had one too many miscues and very questionable offensive play calling. It's just crazy to think what could have and should have been - Buffalo having 1 game to give them the opportunity to Host the AFC Championship game. Ughhh. Unreal ,
  8. Ingram became ineffective and the whole Offense FROZE. They were stagnant Shows you who the real Leader of that O is.
  9. I don't think he's the better long term QB I've said this all year
  10. BILLS WOULD BE PLAYING FOR A HOME AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TOMORROW. UNREAL.
  11. I'd be torn if Daboll is the guy. I love the continuity. I respect his knowledge and experience but I also feel the grass is greener and another OC can better utilize the unique skillset of Allen. Also , Dabol repeatedly looked like he lost the feel for games, had no rythm on O at critical times and is a huge reason we aren't playing this weekend.
  12. I feel we have a heavily respected FO and Coaching staff so not as difficult to fill these voids with quality
  13. He's got a tremendous resume as a DL coach and has DC experience. Looks like an upgrade on paper , familiar with McD , Beane and Co. I like that Buf wasted little time and made a hire immediately,
  14. Ya he was involved and had a cpl big catches. I'm still mind boggled how we stop running him with a 2 score lead most of the game! He was on fire. He just looked so locked in , I can't comprehend why we didn't feed him , keep clock running, defense dominating. Makes Zero sense to me. I know the Texans were probably assuming we go run heavy and I guess we didn't want to be predictable butt it's the playoffs , you're going to have to run when they're expecting it at some point in a playoff run and ur RB is in the zone! 13 carries, just unacceptable
  15. 13 carries, with the lead for over 50 minutes. Still can't believe we stopped running. Smh.
  16. I hear you OP and Bills were the better team for the majority of the game , heartbreaking loss but with the majority of the team coming back , tons of cap room , going to be a great learning experience for guys like Allen, Edmunds , Oliver etc. They'll be back next year. Get ready for meaningful Jan football for years to come
  17. Both mentioned how the O needs to score more and both praised the D. They'll add the right pieces . There is going to be some serious competition in camp , roster will be loaded top to bottom.
  18. I'd love Yannick but idk at if 17 mil per Also the charts show that 3-4 teams pay much more on LB. 4-3 teams on DE , obviously , so it doesn't hold much weight. I also look for Daryl Johnson to take a step in year 2 and is Murphy kinda hitting his stride? The last few gms Murphy was really balling out
  19. The moment that play happened I was shocked he didn't have the awareness of the sideline. That catch and ultimately a TD there changes everything in that game. Brown can be a great # 2 though. He's a helluva WR , can run all the routes , go get an elite # 1 with him and Beez in the slot , Knox at TE and Motor in the backfield and we got some firepower on O.
  20. Oh ya. He really stood out in the Jet game and followed up with a big gm in the playoffs. He's perfect for the Big Nickel role McD likes to run
  21. I believe Sal said You had zero in play penalties like holding pass interference, etc. Only pre snap. Pointed out how dare that is. It truly seemed like the officiating was much harder on us and truly cost us a cpl opportunities to put the game away. No excuses , but to say they had zero impact is ludacris
  22. Neal is a player. He's going to get alot more snaps moving forward.
  23. I never seen Beane or McD (especially talking about the penalties) so out of character. You can see how upset they are . Bills were the better team , had a nice lead late in 3rd and it slipped away. But I can see it in these 2 great leaders that they're going to work even harder to get us deep in the playoffs/ winning division , with them being able to put the finishing touches on a great, young roster , 2020 it's division title or bust.
  24. I think next year we're going to put the finishing touches on a very impressive roster and be a legit SB contender out of the AFC for 3-5 years. Beane/Coach and Co have done an impeccable job so far at tearing and rebuilding this team. Going into year 4 , with no glaring holes , we can upgrade any position , have a great core of leaders and guys that will learn to win. I'm still heartbroken blowing a 16 point lead in the 3rd QTR but the future is so bright. Anything less than a division title next year is a failure. I believe we'll be that talented
