I'd like to see some philosophical changes made by PSU, especially on the offensive end. If Paterno can find a coach he trusts to do that, so be it. If not, maybe he should think about leaving. I'm hoping it's the former and not the latter.

Good post. Right now, the OL and FS are the obvious problems. Neither were properly addressed during Donahoe's time here, in my opinion. How to fix the OL? Let them continue to play together and develop some kind of familiarity at least. That's the best option now. We don't have any better options on the bench and I don't think there's much better we can get in free agency. We're stuck with what we have, which isn't much, to date. FS? I really don't know. All have struggled in coverage and I don't think coverting someone like Vincent or McGee will help either. I guess we'll have to just hope someone will develop into a decent starter. I haven't seen anything to make me confident of this yet.

With us losing our first round pick and with the re-signing of Schobel, I don't know what kind of position we'll be in to even go out and get good OL help. I'd love to see it happen, as I've been harping on this for years, like you Bill. Maybe they've seen the light with what has transpired so far this year? Yeah, right.

Rodney was truly one of the legendary comics of our time. He will be missed, but we do have his movies and standup gigs to keep us entertained forever. I think I'll watch Back To School in his honor.
