  1. What were you looking for, anyway?
  2. Maybe some of you should take up a hobby to relax. Try bird watching. I'll bet that's nice and peaceful.
  3. If he were the head coach here, all it would mean is that all the complaining wouldn't begin until the postseason, like it did during his time in Minnesota.
  4. The one thing I find interesting in these speculations is how other teams are written off as bad teams, like Miami or Arizona. We haven't won a game, yet we think these games are "in the bag"?
  5. Schobel is decent, but not a difference maker, at least not at this point in time. That's not to say he can't be down the line. What we need is a consistent pass rush from the front 7, not just the RDE. They ALL need to become consistent!
  6. Does JD Williams count? Has he been gone for more than 10 years? I'd rather have Wire AND Watson than him!
  7. This is just an observation from me, so take it for what it's worth (probably nothing): what I see, usually, are times where Reese is slow to recognize and react to the play, much like Vincent. That means that although he knows where he should be, he won't get there in time to either come up with the turnover or to make a play on the ball to deflect it. With Wire, it appears that he simply is lost in coverage. I don't know if he really knows where he should be on certain plays. There are times when I look at the tape and he appears to be in, "Oops, I should be over here, so let me hightail it there!" mode. In run support, Wire is like many of the DBs on this team. They'd rather try to hit the guy down instead of making a fundamental tackle (McGee did that on numerous occasions yesterday). I don't know if it's just rust from not being out there often or what with Wire, but he doesn't look ready to play at times. Maybe that'll change soon. I sure hope it does.
  8. I try to stay as optimistic as I can about the Bills. The only thing is, they don't give us much reason to remain optimistic. We still do a lot of things that bad teams do, such as drive killing penalties (i.e., going from a 3rd and 1 conversion to a 3rd and 11 due to a hold, then a 3rd and 16 due to a false start, then a 3rd and 21 due to another false start), inconsistent play from nearly the entire team (except Moorman), and lack of composure in critical situations (personal fouls, tripping up on 3rd and short, etc.).
  9. It's difficult to tell without having their playbook to know what their coverage responsibilities are on each play. In theory, the FS is the deep cover guy, but there are times where a scheme will have the FS blitzing, doubling up on either the wide or the slot receiver, or put him in man to man coverage.
  10. Maybe Poojer can help with that.
  11. I don't have an 8-track or a laugh track, so you lose out twice.
  12. Does anyone know of an inexpensive place to find an in-dash receiver w/CD and cassette?
  13. You guys better be there on the 29th also.
  14. Yeah, it's alright. There's some things I appreciate a lot more now since I moved away for good in '95. Their cost of living is a lot lower than Baltimore, where I live now.
  15. Born and raised there. Born in '69 at Hamot hospital. Graduated from McDowell in '87. My family still lives there. My Mother is retiring at the end of the year and has just bought a house there and my brother has been a reporter for the Erie Times since 1989.
  16. Hey ajzepp, I just noticed your location. You're from Erie?
  17. So, you didn't watch the debate last night either, Mark?
  18. Same here, man. Same here. I don't envy single people one bit.
  19. That's my plan. But, that was my plan last year too (Redskins game) and it didn't work out. This time, I will leave here earlier and I will stay away from Harrisburg.
  20. Oh. That should put them over the top.
  21. Well, since you asked: 22 rushing TDs for Travis Henry 11 rushing TDs for Willis McGahee 9 receiving TDs for Henry 4 receiving TDs for McGahee 2 receiving TDs for Eric Moulds 2 receiving TDs for Josh Reed 1 INT return for a TD (88 yds) for Nate Clements 1 INT return for a TD (31 yds) for Takeo Spikes 1 punt return for a TD (74 yds) for Clements; 2 pt conversion run by Bledsoe Some stats for you: Henry-76 carries for 894 yds, 22 TDs, 0 fumbles/16 catches, 399 yds, 9 TDs McGahee-39 carries for 405 yds, 11 TDs, 1 fumble/11 catches, 269 yds, 4 TDs Moulds-29 catches, 512 yds, 2 TDs Reed-14 catches, 237 yds, 2 TDs Evans-5 catches, 193 yds Bledsoe-85 of 148 for 1,716 yds, 17 TDs, 3 INTs
  22. They shoot a lot of the scenes for that show on location in Baltimore only a few miles away from where my office is. That's what a good number of our claimants look like when they come in to file for benefits.
  23. Now, heroin; THAT'S something B'more can claim to dominate in!
  24. Bills win 372-5 as Vinatieri kicks a FG and Vrabel sacks Bledsoe in the endzone for NE's only points.
