  1. Hahaha!!! "Ah, that little farce you played with my sister. You think that can fool a Corleone?"
  2. In the basketball world, he pretty much is the Godfather. He's been the most dominant player of his era. I think the comparison he made is fairly accurate.
  3. She was like Mary? You mean, she looked like the Joker?
  4. Considering the NFL's crackdown on blindside hits/chop blocks, I'd say the Cowboys' 90s line is the better of the two.
  5. Maybe they feel Plaxico still has more room to improve and will continue to get better. I personally feel it was a bit much to pay for him, but that was their decision to make. Still, putting him together w/Eli Manning could give the Giants a nice pitch n' catch combo, something they sorely need. Of course, they still need help on defense and on their offensive line, but it's a start.
  6. I like the crocopufs board too. It has some stuff from his campaign on there.
  7. That's how you do it, folks.
  8. ...and Mike Nugent too.
  9. I didn't watch any of it and don't plan on watching it. Major league baseball sucks. I'd much rather watch a minor league game than watch that stuff.
  10. Cool. DC is not far from me at all.
  11. I really would like to see more out of Aiken and even Reed before spending free agency cash on another WR. We have our speed WR in Evans. To be effective in the slot, you don't need 4.3 speed. It's more important to run good routes and avoid the jam of the DBs at the line of scrimmage, thereby creating separation.
  12. Happy birthday! If I had any money, I'd be tempted to come down and watch the games w/you guys.
  13. True, but this is just another example of people overvaluing a player. Same thing is happening in regard to the draft. We need a starting LT, so people are valuing guys like Munoz as if he's every bit as good as a guy like Mississippi C Chris Spencer, which he is not. Now, if they can sign Anderson cheap, then why not? He is a decent player. Just realize he's not as good as Alan Faneca.
  14. Hahaha!!! Great movie. Tons of funny lines.
  15. Exactly. A post on the ravens board said, in reference to the Keydrick Vincent signing, that he "replaces the worst offensive lineman" on the team.
  16. I've seen him listed anywhere from 295-304. He still isn't that big. I do think he can add more bulk, but I would hope that if we draft an interior lineman, we draft one who already has bulk, decent footwork/athleticism, and a nasty attitude. Chris Kemoeatu of Utah fits that bill, and could also be available in the 3rd round.
  17. Thinking is what gets you into trouble.
  18. If you're referring to Evan Mathis, he's hardly a mauler. He's barely over 300lbs (played around 290 last year, I think) and is not known for being a powerful drive blocker. He does have very good athleticism and won't back down from anyone. I think he'll be around at the 3rd round pick.
  19. Elton Brown, though I doubt very much he'll be around when our pick comes up.
  20. You shouldn't hate.
  21. Well, they didn't call any of them before Congress, did they? I guess they're above reproach.
  22. Haha!! Yeah, that would sum it up.
  23. That "attention seeking rookie" has been around here longer than either you or me.
