Hey stuck, it's Philly's turn! Are you still here?
-
Considering the Bills didn't have a first round pick, I think they did okay. 2nd round: Got the best center available in the draft in Chris Spencer 3rd round: They picked up this. That ought to make some of you happier.

Buffalo selects Mike Nugent, K Ohio State with the 86th pick. Jacksonville selects J.R. Russell, WR Louisville with the 87th pick.

Nope. Just older:

Thanks, but I can't even try to take any credit. It really is all his. I'm just hoping I can attend the banquet for the award, which is in Atlantic City. I'm not sure if it's open to the public or not, but if it is, I'm there. When my Mother became a member of the SES (Senior Executive Service) at Social Security, there weren't any family members allowed to that ceremony, but since it was at the White House and was conducted by then-VP Al Gore, I guess there were security concerns. Even though there are a number of high profile media people who are getting awards, I wouldn't think that security would be so much an issue that the public, especially family members of the honorees, aren't allowed to attend.

OT - Going to New Orlean for First Time Tonight
R. Rich replied to Matt in KC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That place is always packed. I first went there when I was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss. back in the summer of '88. The Hurricane drinks are pretty strong. I still have a few Hurricane glasses from there. They'll pack your glass up after you finish your drink; it'll take time to wait in line though. DPR4444 mentioned Cajun Mike's for red beans and rice. That sounds great! Both my wife and I love red beans and rice, so if we get to go there this year for the Bills game, that's going to be on the itinerary. Mulate's is a good place to go also, if you enjoy Cajun food/music. -

My wife loves beignets! We had our honeymoon at Disney World and stayed at the Port Orleans resort. They had a restaurant there that made very good beignets. -

Yeah, that's what I meant. You'll find some great info on there. The Big Easy is so much more than the Quarter. -
He was decent. He certainly wasn't anything special, but he didn't kill us, either. I still remember the slant pass he caught in the game against New England (in '96 @ RICH) that went for a TD. That was also the game where Bruuuuuce had 3 sacks against Bledsoe, one of them had Bruuuce hanging on Drew as if he were getting a piggyback ride from him.
