Fatty.... quit making a fool of yourself!!! Follow your first link, and read it carefully.... It explains fairly well, how stupid CRA is, and what the problems are, beginning with HOW REGULATORS!!!! TELL a bank what THEY MUST DO!!! to be able to keep lending MONEY!!!!...

Interesting analogy... Obviously, neither side being able to "negotiate" (if that's what you want to call the missile crisis) through strength, played absolutely no part in the outcome, huh??? Yet, throughout history, we have governments (politicians and your own faith in politics) leading to the sort of corruption we witness today. But you still defend it??? You still believe it is the best course for our future? Politics and Government know better than the mere "masses"??? Pray tell, explain what makes a politician so special??? Heck, what makes a politician today, or politics itself, better than at any time in the past???

When you get to know Fatty better, you will come to realize there is absolutely NOTHING, "central" about his beliefs...

But Ox!!!! We've been told repeatedly about all his achievements and how smart he is... Who would dare question these things?? Oh... VDH.. One of my favorite authors.. But even as he lists a lot of the things we've discussed in the past, like Obama's school records, or failure to ever publish a school paper, I'm still disappointed... Why have we never, ever, heard from even one classmate?? Seems if he was so wonderful and smart, someone, anyone, in any of his classes would have come forward by now??? Something like, "Yeah, I knew him!! He was the smartest kid in the class!!!" But I'll be darn, it seems he wasn't even remembered as the one sitting in the corner with the dunce cap on... How can no one remember him?? Did he do his studies on line??? I don't care if you were the nerdy dude in school, the class clown, or the smartest kid in class; SOMEONE remembers you being there, and should have stepped forward by now for a million dollar book deal I'm sure would be offered that would reveal at least a tidbit more REAL information into this guy that has apparently, fooled enough people, somehow, without doing anything to stand out in a crowd all his life.... WOW.... and a majority of the voters cast for him.... just, wow....

Fatty was one of our liberal stalwarts over on the "other" board... A lot of his posts never make sense....

wow... I'm old I guess, but Windows 95 sucked almost as much as '98!!! The hype is what got people out there... Personally, I wished for a return to 3.1 until finally saved by XP... Vista then crashed and burned, literally, and we now face 7, which is supposed to be great, but has so far, proven why XP was so good...

I say nay!!!! For sure, the smelting of copper, and obviously later, iron, has had an adverse effect on our climate!!! The burning of fossil fuels obviously used in the smelting, and forging process is the reason we are enduring the problems we face today!!! Wouldn't the world be such a "nicer" place if we had just clung to the age of stone?? If our ancestors had only been smart enough to know this, and make it illegal thousands of years ago, any activity that might endanger our future... like... coal... copper.... oil... iron... blackberry's... PCs..... power tools... HDTV.... IPad... well, I hope you get the drift...

so.... what's the problem??? I've never heard of this character, but he's right... It's a mathematical problem that keeps getting kicked down the road, in the hopes that some other fool will accept responsibility... BOTH side complain of cronies on the other side, yet feed the beast in the process of lobbying for their own pet projects...

While I don't disagree with your premise, I hope you also realize we, the US, probably have more untapped reserves of natural gas than any other nation on the planet.... Likewise, aluminum is the 3rd most abundant element on earth, so i don't think folks are necessarily scrambling just to get to Russia's...

Hey Ox!!! My guess is those "lawyers" may have found a job, and finally been told that everything they learned in law school was bull... Or maybe that job they got is at McDonald's or WallMart.... Isn't it disgusting how predictably this story was, and is, playing out??? I know the focus is on Holder, and the move to force him to resign, but as for me, that ain't good enough.... The more this plays out, and the more people involved in this entire mess, AND the cover up, every single one of them needs to be prosecuted fully... none of this taking away a birthday, or resign crap!!!! People are being killed because of a botched, politically motivated, entrapment program gone bad... Too many violations of the very laws the "justice" department is supposed to enforce...

Ha!!!! That was my own wife early in our marriage!! Weird, cause they were never listed as her fault, but it took me years to teach her there was such a thing as defensive driving: always being aware of what others around you are doing... Lost count honestly, but it was at least 5 in the first 5 years, but only one since...And we're at 20 years together... off and on...
