  1. It would be such a bengals move to trade him within the AFC. I could see the Pats making a move and the Bengals pulling the trigger because they aren’t “contenders”. Yet I highly doubt they would trade him to us.
  2. what was the reason to play important starters “before anymore”?
  3. Could be. Prior to the league cutting back on preseason games, it always seemed to me that the game 2 weeks prior to the season was the game most teams played their starters the most snaps. Getting live reps against another nfl team + finalizing the final roster vs injury. Risk vs reward
  4. I think it would be beneficial to give him a drive this week and one or two next week. That said- I’d be happy if he doesn’t play at all
  5. I could definitely see the Texans sliding in. Their D is going to be legit this season. OL still needs work but they play in a crap division while Baltimore and KC both have tougher divaiinal games. Again, I do agree that the #1 seed is important …I see it as more so for the home field advantage
  6. Except we don’t even know if the 1 seed would avoid both teams. The season hasn’t played out. The bills chiefs and ravens aren’t guaranteed the 1-3 seeds i agree, the one seed is the priority and very important….but we can still get the 1 seed and have to play both KC and Baltimore
  7. Just wondering if you have any real insight about Braxton. jones or Darnell Wright and how they played last year? All of my Bears fans buds are pumped about both of them. They said their IOL was the problem last season. 🤷🏻‍♂️ myself. Didn’t watch much of them last year. both had pretty good off grades, if that means anything.
  8. see what you did there? Probably not
  9. I thought my post was relatively easy going. Regarding the bolded, we have Christian to cover the top receivers on each team. We just need someone that can avoid getting get farmed and come up with a big play in the playoffs. Hairston has that ability imo. I agree that his build and penchant for injury gives reason to worry. That was my one gripe about the pick. Not talent and ability. He’s not a rail thin kid. He’s put a good build on himself since the college season ended. Bottom line- the jury is still out. Calling players busts in August of their rookie year is for amateurs imo
  10. I think the amount of talent at edge in this draft played a decent role in him falling to late 3. May still have been an early 3rd, but maybe late 2nd. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. Agree to disagree 🍻 I’m fairly confidant that he had or 5-6 TD runs that were within the 5 yard line. Probably only 3-4 were 1 yard runs. The rest were outside of 5 and he was top 3 in 40+ yard td runs with 4. Yes, maybe Josh could’ve scored on 5-6 of them. Maybe more….but we’re also in the business of trying to keep him healthy. That’s all anyone said for years- the Bills need to take some pressure off Josh in the run game. They can’t him do it all on every play. Having a guy that could take the pressure off of him in the red zone and in the run game in general. Cook does exactly that. And has the ability to score from anywhere. We need guys that can make big plays in the playoffs vs KC and Baltimore. Cook can do it. He did it in exceptional fashion vs KC. 16 touches 134 yards. 6.3 per run and 16.3 per pass. It’s a shame he didn’t get more touches that game.
  12. This is false. He played 3 of the 4 final plays on that last drive. He leaked out on 2 passes and missed a block that led to a pressure on his last play. Then he was removed.
  13. And a lot of those touchdowns wouldn’t have been TDs if it were someone else. I looooove me some Ty Johnson, but he (or Ray) aren’t capable of doing some things Cook can. Cook was really special getting into the end zone last year. It wasn’t just the blocking
  14. Pretty sure every Bills fan sees Bishop as a disappointment so far. Not everyone has already claimed him to be a bust. Regarding Hairston, what “scouting operations” do you speak of. Nearly all of them had him as a late 1st early - 2nd rd pick. My go-to is Dane Brugler. I think he puts in the most time and I respect his opinion more than most. He had Hairston as a 1st-2nd rd pick, 4th best corner in the draft behind Hunter, Barron and Johnson. regarding the bolded, funny how you just make stuff up with these generalized statements. “He was not considered a first rounder with his performance in college”. As if there is a council deciding these things. Some had him as a first. Some didn’t. But pretend that the council in your head is real.
  15. offended? lol. I asked you to keep posting even if you’re wrong. I find your posts humorous.
  16. The world isn’t made of black and white. There’s plenty of grey. Most rookies who haven’t played a down yet are seen in the grey area. They could be good. They good be bad or they could be in between. All of your statements are stated as absolutes. Hancock IS already better than Bishop. Hairston and Bishop ARE stains on Beane. Your feelings about these players ARE THE TRUTH. I don’t claim to KNOW anything about any of these guys except that they are both great athletes with speed (something our secondary hasn’t had). I don’t know much about either kid as a person and what’s in their heart and head. Yet somehow….you know it all. And it’s funny.
  17. One of my favorite all time Bills. Loved the attitude he played with. That punch out he made at the goal line vs KC was just unreal and gave us a chance to win. Without it, the game was over
  18. Keep posting even if he becomes all pro. You’re obviously some sort of scouting prodigy. We need you here. Please don’t go! We could use some laughs.
  19. Something about Mitchell’s personality that I didn’t like. Once he ran the 40, I figured he would be the guy for us if he was still there. Sounds like he’s having a great camp so far. It’ll be interesting to see how the targets shake out in Indy. Pittman, downs, pierce, Mitchell and Tyler Warren. Impressive talent. Depressive QB play
  20. I was hoping to hear us call Ladd or Dejean, but neither were really ideal for what we needed (a slot WR and slot corner). When I hear Keons name, I shrugged and jumped on board because I thought he made sense. I still think he makes more sense than both of those guys.
  21. He had no vision
  22. And even if he can’t play, the likelihood of Herndon making the team is slim to none imo. They’d roll with Rapp, Hamlin, Lewis and Hancock. No need for him. Keep 6 WRs
  23. I would to. Not sure what that has to do with the question I had given my opinion on
  24. I agree…. I was just answering the question
  25. Pretty sure Keon was #2 in the NfL last season in yards per reception. Palmer was 15th in the same stat. I would regard both players as fine playmakers, maybe not “big time”. They just aren’t consistent in their production….which is fine, especially for a team that spreads the ball out so much. Shakir is a big time playmaker imo, albeit for a slot/gadget guy that makes most of his living after the catch. Samuel is a solid playmaker as well, when healthy. We’ll see about Moore, jury still out. our TE and RB room are both solid in terms of playmakers as well. lacking in having one “go to guy”…. Whom we had (diggs) but decided to move on from because they didn’t want to run an offense focused on one guy (especially a guy that had chances to, but didn’t deliver in season ending losses). I think Kincaid + Coleman stats in 2025 > what BTj’s stats would be in Buffalo but who knows
