Gee, I don't know. Suspend them? Again I ask the question: Have you not been paying attention to the NFL in the past week?

Tyrod injury=End of Tyrod Era, even if not serious.

Hopefully Peterman can do better than the last time he had a full week of snaps in practice. -
Do you have an IQ over 80? Just asking, because this brand of thuggery doesn't fly in the NFL. In case you've been too busy beating your chest to notice.
-
You're right, of course. Ejections, suspensions, and fines are clearly the smarter play in that situation. Oh wait, did you think that the NFL would applaud the chest beating of more late hits and fist fights? Speaking of which, did anyone see the spectacular games that Aquib Talib and Michael Crabtree put together this week? You know, from their couches. Because they were suspended. For this exact type of asshattery. I'd rather not see my local sports team full of dipshits who get themselves suspended so you can feel good about yourself.

Yeah, some *might* be. I like the odds that they're not, though. So you're rather give NE 30, 45, 60 more yards by being stupid, because of some (*^*&%^$^#sense of manhood? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bottom line, ladies: the dumbass who retaliates almost always gets the worst outcome.

Huh? What does social security have to do with whiny libtards? -
Well, at least he was a former student, so he wasn't doing her for the grades. By the way... yeah I would.

Both teams game plan (IMO) Sunday Pats v Bills
Koko78 replied to PatsFanNH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pats: Show up and let the refs work their magic. Bills: Try not to look too dejected after being humiliated... again. -
Cross-examining Flynn in any criminal case brought about because of his speculated cooperation would be a blast. "So you were fired as National Security Advisor because you lied to VP Pence?" "Then you were charged with and plead guilty to lying to the FBI?" "But we're supposed to believe you this time?"

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency
Koko78 replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So Trump wasted taxpayer money to collude with Russia for a Russian-made swastika-laden toilet seat so that he could avoid having to sit on the same seat as a black man?!? IMPEACH! -
Yeah... that's not the way it works.

If true, does this make Trump a Cotton pickin' President?

The Media's Portrayal of Trump and His Presidency

Trump is wasting taxpayer money by ordering a new toilet seat AND demanding that laborers be paid overtime to install it after hours?!? IMPEACH! NEVER TRUMP!! RESIST!!! -
I think they would have a tough time suing the city. They would have to prove, among other things, that the City owed the lady a duty of care, which they violated by declining to exercise their option to temporarily detain someone for ICE whom they otherwise had no right to hold (he had finished his sentence), and that was the proximate cause of her being killed - under a negligence theory. There are many significant legal hurdles in suing a government beyond proving negligence (or any other tort), such as overcoming qualified immunity for any public servants named, and the principle that you cannot generally get punitive damages from municipalities unless a clearly established right were violated. Not impossible the family wins, but their case would be very problematic.

What are they going to get out of a civil suit? The guy's pot or the piss he left in it? He's a 5-time deported Mexican. Do you really think a civil suit is going to matter?

TNA and Impact are the same thing. Here is what I can remember off the top of my head: Dixie Carter sorta sold a stake in the promotion to Billy Corrigan, then reneged on the deal. Corrigan later bought the rights to NWA, and is currently trying to built that up. Dixie Carter then sold TNA to Anthem Entertainment (with whom they had substantial debt), who rebranded it as Impact Wrestling. Then Anthem hopped into bed with Jeff Jarrett and his Global Force Wrestling promotion, re-rebranding it as GFW Impact. Then they fell out with Jarrett - without securing any rights to the GFW brand - so re-re-rebranded themselves back to Impact. Now they're apparently having some serious cashflow problems, which is the likely reason why they waived the white flag on the Broken Universe gimmick, rather than to try to fight Hardy's/WWE's deep pockets for the trademarks. I would not be surprised if they sell the TNA video library to McMahon in the near future.

Premature Ejection in front of a porn shop
Koko78 replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Al Gore invented the internet so that we could all have free porn. Anyone who goes to an actual porn shop anymore should feel nothing but shame and scorn.
