The actor's name is Karla Sofia Gascón, and he starred in the Spanish-language film "Emila Pérez,” which aired on Netflix. Gascón was the belle of the ball as the movie racked up 13 nominations and the actor was lauded for being the first trans person to be nominated for an Oscar. Oh, how they all celebrated themselves for being so generous and open-minded!
