  1. Virginia Dem Eugene Vindman's Campaign Struggles, While Fmr. Green Beret Emerges As GOP Primary Winner by Sarah Arnold The 2024 election year is heating up and it looks like a massive red wave is about to hit the United States. Virginia Democrat Eugene Vindman, who played a prominent role in former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment hearings, is already facing criticism right out of the gate as the state heads into its general election for its congressional races. During the Virginia primary, Vindman’s campaign struggled from the start. As Rebecca noted in April, the Democrat “stumbled through a response about being Jewish and an immigrant when asked, by another white man, if it was time for him, as a white man, to step aside for minority candidates, https://townhall.com/tipsheet/saraharnold/2024/06/22/virginia-dem-eugene-vindmans-campaign-struggles-while-fmr-green-beret-emerges-as-gop-primary-winner-n2640822 .
  2. Black American On The Difference Between Joe Biden Supporters vs Donald Trump Supporters “Yo. The biggest difference between Trump supporters and Biden supporters is this: Biden supporters are Biden supporters because they wanna be paid. - They want their student loans paid off - They want welfare - They want this social service - They want these people to eat off of this - They want this to be taken away - They want this to be they don't want you to have guns - They just want the whole the the criminals to run rampant. They wanna be paid, for instance. They want money. They want something. They beg for it. The Trump supporters, we don't wanna see sh*t. We just want a f**king country back from you weirdos that wanna raise our kids in a country that's safe. You don't achieve that by the path that Joe Biden's taken us. So I'll say it again because a lot of y'all had me f**ked up just because I'm black. But there's no way in hell I'd vote for Joe Biden.”

  4. Companies Abandon DEI by John Hinderaker The Wall Street Journal reports that corporate America is backpedaling away from “diversity”: White-collar companies that once championed programs to recruit diverse employees are now tiptoeing away from them. PricewaterhouseCoopers and JPMorgan Chase are among those that recently removed or altered descriptions of their programs for underrepresented students. The shift came after an “anti-woke” movement took aim at U.S. companies and a Supreme Court decision overturned affirmative action in college admissions. Employers’ embrace of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives peaked in 2021, sparked by the death of George Floyd and the height of the Black Lives Matter movement a year earlier https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2024/06/companies-abandon-dei.php https://www.wsj.com/business/dei-programs-slowing-pwc-mckinsey-kirkland-ellis-d48e6234? .
  5. What Biden Is Practicing for the Debate May Just Be the Funniest (and Saddest) Report Yet By Nick Arama We've been covering some of the debate prep that Joe Biden has been doing in the run-up to the first debate, which is less than a week away. Biden is currently holed up at Camp David, reportedly until the debate, practicing with advisors. However, his team appears to be leaking like sieves. I'm not sure exactly why they're leaking, because it's producing reports that are not helpful for him. I've already written about how they've tipped to expect "surprises" from Biden. If you have to promise surprises, you're already implicitly pointing out how the public thinks you need improvement of some sort. If you're tipping that he may call former President Donald Trump a "convicted felon," as one report from the AP said, you're stupid because you're giving away your strategy. If Trump didn't already anticipate that, you've now given him time to prepare a response. I think he should laugh at Biden and call him desperate, pointing out how most think it's a political effort, and then get right back to hitting Biden on his record. But the folks doing the leaking weren't done yet. And we may have the dumbest leak yet. Check out this ABC report about how Joe Biden is practicing mock, 90-minute debates including "standing up on his feet the entire time, trying to mirror what he's going to have to do in real-time next week." Um, if you have to practice standing for 90 minutes, you may just have a problem. Why would people leak that? Do they think that will put fear into the Trump team? That's both funny and incredibly sad at the same time, that he has to practice that. Is that the "surprise" in the "physical performance" that they promised -- that he'll be able to stand up? Unfortunately, he probably could use the "practice" in that regard. But this is just getting ridiculous at this point. The problem is if he has to do all this for 90 minutes of simple questions he should know the answers to off the top of his head, you know how far gone he is. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2024/06/21/biden-practicing-standing-for-debate-n2175795

  10. MORE: "When an individual has been found by a court to pose a credible threat to the physical safety of another, that individual may be temporarily disarmed consistent with the Second Amendment." The Supreme Court rules in United States v. Rahimi. The opinion is written by the Chief Justice, joined by everyone except Thomas, who dissents. There are also concurring opinions by Sotomayor (joined by Kagan) and by Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, Barrett, and Jackson. That's a lot to sort through. https://althouse.blogspot.com/2024/06/when-individual-has-been-found-by-court.html https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/23pdf/22-915_8o6b.pdf .
