  1. Oh he is a good coach! He just fairs poorly against other good to great coaches.. I swear he PEDs himself every time he faces BB lol… I think the AFC East is loaded with good to great coaches. I mean outside of the Jets HC the other 3 have shown they are damn good… East should be fun this year.
  2. Steelers really need a young QB to take over for Big Ben, their D is scary good, I also think they are the best coached team in the North. So I see the Steelers winning the division again this year as their D wins them a lot of games and Tomlin will help them win 1 or 2 they shouldn’t.
  3. I am not sold on Baker Mayfield at QB and think he keeps them from being a true contender. I feel the same way about the Ravens, except I feel Jackson is wildly overrated as a QB. They also have a good D but not scary at all on O with Jackson, teams have figured his style out.
  4. IMO Ravens are way overrated. Browns are well the browns… So that leaves the Chiefs and Bills and the Chiefs are 1 and the Bills 2. The Dolphins COULD be 3 but I am not sold on Tua, Chargers should have a good O but not sold on their D, Raiders suck, Jets Suck.. Steelers have a damn good D, but a very shaky O. Bengals are a couple years at least away, Broncos are a mess. Titans and Colts could be 3 and 4 especially the Titans but their D still very shaky, Colts have to fix their QB. Jaguars in full rebuild And the Texans are a train wreck. finally my team, Patriots will have a top D, and a rebuilt O weapons but at best am unproven rookie QB or worse a broken down Cam Newton. so point is only Chiefs and Bills are true SB contenders in the AFC. The rest have obvious and possibly big flaws.
  5. Till this year. He has a sick D and a decent run game and some decent WR
  6. Lol I was just thinking a fair deal a 2nd and a WR who supposedly had a high upside and is cheap for them.
  7. Brady still be #1 because he is the GOAT and well he stomped a mud hole in Rogers when they did play last year. Also don’t think THEY will have Allen in the top 10 I say he be something like 23 or 24. Why? Because they are like that.
  8. Future first round draft pick? Does that mean like 2023 or 2024 and not next year? (Curious) I am hoping the Pats get him for a 2nd and we throw in Harry.
  9. Wow that was long. Speaking as a Pats fan I expect Newton be the starter for the first 4 weeks and go probably 1-3. They then will go with Mac Jones and hopefully unleash a real passing offense. Mind you this all could change if they end up getting Julio Jones. Who could make the Pats a .500 Team in the first 4 games if not 3-1. (Yes I believe he is that special of a talent)
  10. Lmao true!! I was thinking be a lot like the 2001 Pats O with Jones. I figured with Newton he get less since ALL Newton can do now is run. Lol
  11. This year can be anyone. My bet be on Harris as the Pats it appears are going back to a run first O especially if Jones is the QB. He will have the better stats because he will have more opportunity than any other RB.
  12. Hard to say, the Pats really ran the ball well as a team last year, but Lundy throw a completed pass for anything so I don’t think teams worried to much about it... Nee year this year and anyone can be the best this year, I will probably suffer three at least 7 or 8 games of Cam if not a hole season. 2 years with Cam will feel longer than 20 years with Brady did. Lol but seriously what happened last year means nothing a hole new year anyone can be the best RB this yr in the East.
  13. I always figured Jones would be the Pats WB so I watched more film on him I figured the other 4 be drafted early. (I was shocked how far Fields fell)
  14. Hey he is like 90 it was way past his bedtime man was exhausted. Lol
  15. Definitely have the best QB without a doubt in the East I say top 5 in the NFL. After that in the East it can be any of the 3, I will say Newton starts the year for NE and Jones replaces him half way threw. I think Jones will be the clear 3nd by years end just based off of better coaching. (And Devante Smith considers him better than Tua lol) all and all it was the right pick at 15. Bust or boom it was correct.
  16. I am not comparing him to the GOAT. No one is ever going to be Brady. He is definitely a huge step up from Newton. Fields - 3 games with less than 200 yards, and had his worse game in both championship games. Trey Lance - played inferior competition and numbers were good not great. Wilson - One good year and also not elite competition. Jones — had a stacked WR core a good O line. Broke records for completion percentage in NCAA History, had one of the best TD to INT ratio. Also made quick decisions and went three reads quickly. Also stepped up in the pocket and still delivered a clean ball when being hit. He put up better numbers than Burrows who’s entire O is also in the NFL now. outside of Lawrence, NONE of them are sure things but Jones is the best one to plug into the system the Pats like to run and they didn’t give up draft capitol to get him.
  17. Dynamic? Ran a 4.58 40 yard dash but isn’t considered Mobil, broke records for accuracy but it’s all his surrounding cast. Meanwhile they say he is the first in and the last out for practice, his tapes show a QB with great pocket presence, and he throws it quickly and accurately. also IMO most QBs who are busy is because of the coaches who draft them sorta kinda stink!
  18. When did he try to hurt a player? The man one of the smallest in the NFL, the one I know did a cheap shot was Gronk and I was actually hear and called him out for being an idiot? Oh someone who almost did come to Buffalo when he unretired I am sure you would have promptly booed him. Edelman was the annoying little pest that was mouthy but not a head hunter or anything like that. Cheater? Because he got popped ONCE for steroids after recouping for a full YEAR from injury and hadn’t played a down yet? I stand by what I said you cheer for him on your team and make bogus crap up to hate him when he isn’t. It’s ok we all do it.
  19. Wasn’t worshiping him just stayed a fact he played all three phases in the NFL. Not a very common thing to see. If I was worshipping him I wouldn’t have said he isn’t a HOF player.
  20. I agree but the one thing makes him unique is he played all 3 phases of football in the NFL. He of course played WR, he as well was a damn good punt returner, but he also played CB for NE his first 3 years on occasion. He was willing to do anything help his team win, is he HOF player? I don’t think so. Do I think he was amazing and fun as hell to watch if he was on your team? Yes I do.
  21. I see him making only the Pats HOF. He was amazing to watch and had a few spectacular catches. (Probably the most improbable catch ever in a SB) I am shocked Monk and Reed aren’t in! They were a lot better than Edelman the ONLY thing Edelman has over both is rings.
  22. He doesn’t IMO deserve the HOF but the man put up amazing numbers and was a SB MVP not to mention he got hit hard a lot and got right back up. He also was a big reason they won the last 2 SB and almost won the SB against the Eagles. I know most hear hate him, but IMO he was one of those players if he is on your team you love him but if he isn’t you hate him. (Rodney Harrison comes to mind I hated him on the Chargers but loved him on the Pats lol)
  23. It was! Only question Mark was Allen and if he would take that next step.
  24. I’m just glad the Bills took the division and not the Jets or Phins.. I will support my team even if I have go there the late 80’s and early 90’s pain yet again. I hope not but I will still cheer for them..
  25. That shows how we OT the Jets front office was at the time. Hell the Jets going to struggle till they get better ownership.
