Ej was fine too right?....cj should sit, get MRI, and see how he feels tomorrow. If he has even the most minor of tear or sprain, he can create a REAL injury by running on it full speed and getting hit in a meaningless game. Also, it's on the worst field in football for knees. Branch by no means looks fast but he read runs very well and filled his gapS...he didn't get pushed back like dareus seemed to. I will get a good look today though.

I want to watch dareus and branch. Dareus hasn't been very impressive in first two games, kind of slow and not explosive. Last game branch looked pretty good.

MRI revealed need for procedure. Any doctors out there know "minor" reasons for this? Is this much worse and bills not telling yet? I'm so worried about this.

Um...I have read every practice recap since they started. The only reference ever made to them is their absence. What activities have they participated in to your knowledge, other than signing their contracts? Any links?....I sincerely am curious, because I feel like the presence alone of either of them would warrant a mention in someone's account of practices.

At least he made it to some of their workouts (see Lawson and branch)...but yes, I definitely wanted him. He would easily be a starting, productive Db for us IMO.

I just hope we continue to hear these things when pads go on.

I think a good qb last year would have gotten us at least 3 more wins, and a competent coaching staff would add another 3...even the 6 we won seemed to be in spite of bad coaching...we are by no means one player away from the Super Bowl, but I would agree a qb away from the playoffs...maybe I'm delusional, but I think as a whole, the team is a pretty talented one.

The article that Mary Kay wrote (that spawned the article in this thread) carried a much different story. Pretty sure he twisted her words around quite a bit. Misleading journalism at its finest.

It's hard to understand why waste pick, and spend so much money for a qb who was not a backup, but a 4th qb who didn't run plays at practice or dress for games. Don't kid yourself, fitz' backup was thingpen, and his backup was smith. We should have the extra 1.5mil and 7th rnd pick right now, and it may sound like much, but repeated missteps like that accumulate to a failing organization with sub par personel...which is what the bills have been...I think that's why people make a big deal about things like this. What respectable organization would trade a pick and pay that salary to get a guy for ONE YEAR, and not even dress him?...I can't think of one.

Based on the interview....hacketts post pinstripe bowl interview...the man crush Hackett has for him ...and it won't be hard to persuade nix/Whaley to draft the qb that the OC and hc can vouch for and want to have....I would certainly agree, it is probable.

Anyone know if an OC,HC, and qb have ever gone from a college team one year to a nfl team the next?

I'm not too worried what the first 7 do because no college qb is a shoe in starter "can't miss" qb pick...I know it wont happen but I'd like to see 2 of our top 3 picks go to qbs and the other to lb...I don't want to bank on just one qb pick in this particular draft, not a big separation in the group...IMO

I get the funny feeling this prediction may be spot on. It goes one of two ways...bills get destroyed, or they keep it close enough for that "fitz 6" he is famous for......either way, we finish with a worse record than last year.

Was that a first down? What down is it?...qb sneak here just to be safe.
