  1. that thread seems to just argue about McCoy, Zay, etc. was hoping to have a thread that is only about Allen and his health for this week ?
  2. Updates of his actual status of the game here please... LATEST: concussion protocol, how he is able to practice wednesday, thursday and friday is crucial. UPDATE: STAGE 4 IN PROTOCOL - did some work in individual drills and took part in team meetings
  3. THIS I foresee us being in a similar situation as Tampa/Titans with Winston/Mariota where we are going to go into his final contract year and make the decision to continue with Allen or not... do I hope he figures it out? YES, the dude has the highest ceiling out of any QB right now... but am I concerned that he wonʻt figure it out? YES, same errors over and over again needs to stop NOW. But to answer the question: No, I am not losing faith, but I am bummed that his trajectory is taking longer than it should
  4. I agree with this but at the same time I am super curious if he is still making critical misread errors on the deep ball? Is Daboll making his first and second read the underneath stuff but he sees the homerun ball in his mind and just launches?
  5. Barkley canʻt make the throws Allen does, and yet Barkley wonʻt make the high risk throws that Allen does... Will our offense operate better? NO Will our offense have less turnovers? YES But will that also mean we have less points? YES Josh Allen is Big Ben + Brett Favre + Mike Vick - the waves will be super high and super low ?
  6. worst part about him not being able to finish this game, is the fact that he might not be able to play next week to show us if he can learn from his mental errors ? my body was not ready for a let down of this magnitude... I would rather have us lost by 14 points but show that he can still make good decisions as a QB
  7. Hero Ball + Lost the game for us vs the Patriots at home = Josh Allen
  8. WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ WEEK 4: F I will keep it as simple as I can. I am the biggest bandwagon Josh Allen fan there quite possibly is. Trust me. He lost the game for us today plain and simple. We donʻt need high level stats to analyze. HE lost the game for us. The only thing I will forever be curious about is if he wasnʻt KOʻd, how those last possessions would have looked?
  9. X and Y - must be current or former QBʻs in the NFL X + Y = Josh Allen X = Big Ben Y = Brett Favre therefore: Big Ben + Brett Favre = Josh Allen
  10. how do we find what we wrote in that thread?
  11. Browns situation: 1) A coach who is over his head 2) A QB who is being asked to play outside of his comfort zone 3) "Stars" on the roster who may implode at any time once the loss column starts piling up
  12. Ever since our week 15 win over the Lions... the game where he seemed to finally minimize the turnovers and gain confidence... Josh Allen is 8-1 as a starter (including pre season)... his only loss? AT New England in a game they needed to win to get a home game in the playoffs - in that game BOTH HIM AND Tom Brady threw 1 TD and 2 INT, however Allen out threw him 217 yards vs 126 yards. ___________________ Now that we are playing at home, and Josh has made major strides as a QB, I truly believe the era of going 0-2 to the Pats is over
  13. let Josh throw over 30 times... we havenʻt lost yet when he has done so
  14. Melvin Gordon or Leanord Fournette
  15. Daniel Jones 300 yard performance holds no ground... the yards after catch that his WRʻs and TEʻs got were ridiculous... Josh has yet to experience having team mates like that
  16. 23/36 - 243 yards - 1 TD, 1 INT - 9 carries for 46 yards WEEK 1: B- WEEK 2: B WEEK 3: C+ Today we got to see "streaky Josh" and it is my biggest fear about him. I am okay however if it is a few bad plays during a quarter, followed by a game winning drive. I just donʻt want his "lows" to last entire games. I had him at a B-, however the INT is inexcusable... especially after experiencing the intentional grounding call. That should have been the light bulb moment. Heck, even the fumble should have been a learning moment where he realizes he just needs to settle in and put the nail in the coffin. All in all, he is still progressing along enough to prove that he can take over this franchise and lead us to greatness. Today just happened to be his worst game of the season thus far IMO.
  17. Father time in our minds usually relates to us Bills fans hoping Tom Brady fades away... however recently he seems to be slowly Thanos snapping other QBʻs around the league... - SNAP! - "Mr Stark, I donʻt feel so good..." - Andrew Luck - retires because his body was breaking down. - Big Ben - elbow. done for the year. - Drew Brees - hand. 6 weeks. - Cam Newton - foot. TBD but not looking good. - Joe Flacco - running on fumes in Denver. Letʻs say those 5 are on the way out... which are the next wave of FRANCHISE QBʻs to fall victim to Father Time?
  18. a 300 yard game this week and our home opener would be a nice touch to add to the progression
  19. 1) O line giving Josh time 2) Josh throwing accurate lasers because of it 3) Devin Singletary making me not miss Shady one bit
  20. We all come with a bias on these message boards of being Bills fans... some loved him when drafted, some hated, and most had their doubts... but out of curiosity - what would need to happen for you to finally sit back and be like "alright, Josh Allen is the franchise" My answer: eliminate head scratching turn overs, and at a minimum split the season series with the Pats but be relevant in both games
  21. I once thought TO was just a rumor... but then it happened Canʻt count anything out
  22. seems non biased and accurate... I hope more of these are available as the season rolls along (win or lose)
  23. rest Devin, let Josh throw for Tree Fiddy
  24. OBJ scored on the same route that Josh under threw Zay on... imagine if he was on target and scored
  25. Josh Allen is better than Baker... there I said it
