  1. I don't know that he really had interest in staying here. I think with an offense predicated on play action and timing, they were looking to add guys with good hands or good wingspan. Also - zay ran a 4.45 at the combine. I know that isn't play speed by any means but he seems to have some speed.
  2. Yeah - i think he felt like, i got my guy at QB so he limited reps there after really doubling down on QB work in 2015. We just looked totally unprepared in that baltimore game. I think part of it might have been roman taking the lazy rex approach in the preseason too.
  3. Yeah - but on a team with limited WR options outside of the top 2 or 3, he's at least an intriguing red zone option. Run blockings usually easier too, so if they think pass we can still run.
  4. Hopefully we actually play in the preseason games. Use this as a chance to prepare for the season - coaching staff included. Dennison as far as i know has never called a game before so I'd like to see him do a good job there. We came out so flat against Baltimore last year and it looked like we weren't prepared at all, plays barely getting in on time, and just players who were all sat during camp/preseason for fear of injury. I don't think our O-line even played much in the preseason games.
  5. Felt he could be a Julius Thomas type Hybrid WR/TE. He'll never be as good a blocker because he's learning how to do it so late in the game. But you can't teach 6'6" 250
  6. yeah - its early, and takes some time to come together for sure, but your concerns are certainly warranted.
  7. Mcdermott kinda guy, before we had Mcdermott. You should just be... scouting and getting good players. It's his first camp too. You work on technique and fundamentals in camp. He came mid-season into practices and was probably at least somewhat focused on where he needed to be.
  8. I live in Buffalo... and work days, as i imagine many of you do. It's hard to get to camp. I even have a friend who works at fisher, it's just tough to justify taking off work to watch people practice. If they moved it to buffalo I might take a day to check it out. I always enjoyed going to fisher when i lived in rochester (and was in high school).
  9. Hey... he was the 57th rated tackle per PFF!
  10. Such a gamer though, and brady loves him. Be smart to test the market and see if you can get a bit more cash though.
  11. Yep - I cancelled it in my fios package. Might consider getting the MLB package next year, just so i can watch tribe games. I do still have to go their website to navigate to my fantasy baseball league. The app stinks and crashes all the time.
  12. Except everyone was out of shape, undisciplined, and unprepared.
  13. Goodwin wasn't really a space player. He's not quick, just fast.
  14. I have a blind hatred for Colin Kaepernick as well. Week 15 in 2012 season, Gore got 6 carries for 28 yards. 1st and goal from the 10, gore gets 6 yards. CK scrambles, then incomplete, then the FG is blocked. 1st and goal from the 5, non-gore run, pass, pick. I hate you Colin... Ball-hogging jerk-store!
  15. #RODENT Anyone on here actually go to camp with some comments? I pretty much dis-regard whatever #RODENT says.
  16. Right? The practices are fast paced. There's a lot more to a 2 hour practice than like 5 throws in 11x11 work.
  17. Tannehill sucks. Dalton seems to suck without Green. Bradford isn't very inspiring either. Palmers got bum knees. Mariota, Wentz, Prescott are young. Mariota looks legit, and Prescott worked through some mid-season struggles last year. Wentz was a rookie so it is what it is. Ah - didn't feel like digging through a 30 page thread TBH.
  18. FWIW this came from Rodak. He's the worst.
  19. Here's 15 in no particular order who are better than Tyrod: Brady Big Ben Luck Rivers Carr Smith Manning Cousins Stafford Rodgers Ryan Newton Brees Winston Wilson He's in a tier with these guys: Flacco Tannehill Dalton Mariota Wentz Prescott Bradford Palmer
  20. I at least put some justification on it. He's paid to be a top 10 corner, and as of yet, has not shown that he is that. He could be, but currently is not. Felt the same way about janoris jenkins last year, and he had a really good year, so you never know.
  21. You're not going to get anything for Wood. Teams would just wait for you to cut him. He also counts 4.3 against the cap if we cut/trade him. We have 12.9 as it stands right now, so I think we're trying to carry over as much as possible.
