  1. Played through rib injuries, groin injuries, and the hip injury. I remember he sprained his ankle on an awkward catch and missed a game or two. If the foot issue keeps cropping up, it'll be come a big problem.
  2. To be fair - his stats align really closely with the first 3 years of Julio Jones.
  3. its a full injury guarantee I think, while if we wait and his foot is still a mangled mess we can not be stuck with a huge cap hit for a non-contributor, The non-exclusive tag isn't that much more cap space than the 4th overall picks 5th year option if i recall.
  4. My only issue was it was a 1st round pick, and he didnt play in 2003. Also we lost price before 2003 and our offense fell apart. Seems like a luxury pick for a team that.. shouldn't have been doing that?
  5. They run the ball well, have a QB who doesn't turn it over, and play a strong defense which is good at taking the ball away. I think we can all draw a comparison to the bills team of the last two years, and safely say if they don't take the ball away as much, it will result in losses.
  6. we have like 7 linebackers, 6 DTs and what seems like 2 DEs. So... if anyone can play end... that'd be good
  7. Denver had 100 more PA's than buffalo last year, and we rushed a bit more than them. I think the balance will swing above the 50-50 rush/pass of the last 2 years, as hopefully less runs = more plays on offense. Maybe somewhere like 55/45 pass to run?
  8. While we did add richardson in 2014, we still had Urbik. I think you're thinking of Erik Pears. Who was terrible.
  9. Right... Carson Palmer is kind of the new Bledsoe in that regard. His numbers are a bit better, but different Eras.
  10. We never had peak bledsoe, we had skip it to his receivers bledsoe after his first like 8 games. Surprised to not see Henry on there. Considering he was good here, and we basically.. buried him for McGahee who immediately bailed the first chance he could.
  11. I mean... alcohol is legal and there's a ton more fatal accidents involving that.
  12. Travis Henry was pretty good here. Nate Clements was excellent in his time here. London Fletcher was pretty solid. Only 4 first team all-pro players in the drought. Mario, Dareus, Takeo, and Moorman. So those would be the best players, but I don't think any of them would qualify as underrated. I'm going to go with Fletcher. 5 years as our Mike, never missed a game. Fletcher played what 7 more seasons?
  13. Tackling is the big knock on janoris jenkins, but he had an excellent year last year with NYG. Sometimes a change of scenery will do ya good.
  14. i mean... shes a piece of work alright. Ran him out of miami.. but was she wrong when she said Tannehill sucked? Out of line sure - but was she wrong...? Who do you rank him above? And why?
  15. Why all the Brent Grimes hate? He was actually really good last year! I'm just saying - FWIW literally no NFL pundit's have said Gilmore is a top 10 or top 15 corner. I said he could be if he can tackle better, and avoid those bad games. He's yet to make that jump.
  16. I think he gets passed by brees soon, already passed by manning. Favre is no longer the all-time yard or TD guy. Is still the all-time sack/INT guy though! 3 MVPs from 95-97 is pretty awesome though.
  17. i just mean - as part of the Oline unit. I thought miller redeemed himself quite a bit last year. Mills is just a terrible pass protector.
  18. I want to like Wood, but when Groy came in and we literally didn't skip a beat i wonder if he's really that talented anymore. Or maybe groy's just good?
  19. I'm not saying they are similar as QBs, I'm saying they both did things that were both great and bad. Favre obviously did a lot more great things, than dumb things.
  20. I think Favre is a bit overrated... And I'm a big fan of his. He is like the opposite of Tyrod taylor, but in many ways the same. You'll see some highlight reel plays, and you'll see some what the hell is he thinking plays. Favre's are picks, tyrods are i dunno ghost pressure and holding the ball. Yeah, thats a fair assessment. I always tend to look at Oline as a unit, because its not always what a single player does... sometimes a communication breakdown can make a player look like they missed, when they in actuality were in the right place and someone else may have missed a check or something. Hard to judge. Kyle is fair though, he wasn't usually the one missing tackles. Zach Brown in the first half sure, but he was not very good in the 2nd half of the year. Want to like Clay, but I remember some drops, and some lazy route running. Good blocker though so he is definitely valuable. I think the media hates him because his paycheck doesn't justify his numbers, but you don't really have a good blocking stat.
  21. Well many of the guys i might rank above him had either injury plagued years (hughes, watkins, aaron williams, ragland, shaq, clay), or off years (kyle, whatever dareus year was, gilmore, darby). He took care of the ball, had some very good games (obviously some stinkers, or games where he didn't jump off the stat sheet). Stole quite a few first downs with his legs. Added some TDs on the ground. Led a very good red zone attack. I tend to value a QBs contributions more than a Left Guards, but you can't say Woods/the rest of the receivers were particularly good. The running game was pretty much the sole thing that this team did well last year, and I put McCoy at the top for that, but adding an option role and almost 600 yards from the QB is something. We had a bottom of the barrel rush defense so i'm reluctant to anoint a front 7 player. We didn't get a ton of turnovers, we got shredded by many mediocre QBs last year. I honestly thought we'd lose to the rams we were getting shredded by Case Keenum. I guess 3rd then? Maybe behind Zo? He had a really good year. Well the teams with the highest turnover diff were mostly playoff teams, so there should be a relatively high valuation on taking care of the football. 3rd in giveaways, tied for 23rd in takeaways. http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/givetake
  22. I mean - Shady for sure Watkins if he plays Dareus if he tries Hughes if he's healthy Maybe Cog, Lorax, KW? They're all 1 year older. Never seen white or hyde play so i can't say. Darby had a lot of stinkers last year. Ragland and Lawson, who knows? Looking at last year - Tyrod was probably our 2nd best player.
  23. Last season? Or like, where we think he falls this season?
  24. Yeah Bell and Ajayi did twice... Honestly - many of the one score games were 2 score games. We made them 1 score games with like 45 seconds left in the 4th
