I believe it is guaranteed for injury only. They can cut him but i don't think they would be eligible for any type of comp pick compensation. Even for 9 million this guy has some value - He's not John Ross/Corey Coleman. He's averaged 60/750/6 for the last 2 years. That's a solid NFL 2nd/3rd option receiver. You could always trade a later pick and negotiate an extension as well. We have plenty of cap space though so it's not as if we couldn't make it work.

Report: Bengals looking to trade WR John Ross

Helps when your coachs are Andy Reid and Matt Nagy in year 1. And not... Marvin Lewis and company. Yeah - Tyreke hill is incredibly fast but he's also good at... catching passes. -
Report: Bills interested in UFA TE Jesse James

Possibly more - its a lousy TE market. Eifert who's always banged up, Jared Cook whos 32 etc. Eifert's injury history: 2014 - Dislocated elbow, missed pretty much the whole year 2015 - pinched nerve, missed 2 games - made pro bowl and injured his ankle in the pro bowl 2016 - Missed first 8 games with the ankle injury from the pro bowl - finished year on IR with a back injury (team was out of the playoffs) 2017 - Had a 2nd back surgery and missed pretty much the whole year, also had a cyst removed from his knee. 2018 - Broke his ankle in week 4 and missed the rest of the year He's played 6 games in the last 2 years and 14 total in the last 3. I don't know how you can trust this guy at all... He's never been a particularly strong blocker - hence them moving to add Vance McDonald. His scouting report makes it seem like he hasn't taken that next step - still struggles to shake man coverage, isn't polished yet. He's only what 25? So i guess there's the possibility of some improvement. -

James is 6'7 260 vs. croom who's a bit more like a large WR. Croom has a shot to stick but i don't think he's like guaranteed a spot. If we were to add a player like James, i would also see us going after someone in the draft. TEs get hurt a lot, and it's nice to have better depth than in the past - Clay, who is always hurt and a bunch of UDFA's basically. -
Would you trade a high 2020 draft choice for AB?

If they do - look for Buffalo, the Jets, the dolphins - to be at the top of their list. -

Steelers will do everything in their power to trade him to a non-contender -

I'd like to see flowers, but realistically maybe Graham or Fowler. Need to add a pass rusher to rotate with the 3 we have. Trent Brown would be nice as we could move Dawkins where he's needed. Paradis or Morse would be cool - but i think there's a lot of teams looking at veteran centers. We do need to bring in a few linemen though. Not super into the TEs as Cook's the best one and he'll be 32 by the time the season starts. Would prefer seeing us grab a receiver so we're not forced to overdraft one. I would like to see BPA in the draft and go after a premier tackle we could use at 3 tech. -
Allen: “Hey Ramsey...am I still trash?” Hahaha

I mean - he wrote what someone asked for an autograph... I personally think this is a non-story. The story is the clap-back from jalen ramsey... smack talker extraordinaire. Guy is afraid of contact but loves to talk a big game. He'll never win a thing with an attitude like that. -
Cowboys decline options on WR Williams

I think they were pretty desperate to add anyone with talent before final cut down day so they could get a look. They already knew that WR was going to be a big problem in 2018. It was a miss, but i appreciate them shooting a shot there. No cap ramifications in 2019 and the lost pick means nothing. Just a waste of Terry's money. -
Wine walk with josh Allen (barstool)

He's probably attended more Sabres games than most. Probably does some charity work. To live here year round as like... a wealthy celebrity - i feel like you have to like Skiing (and once you really like skiing you're probably traveling elsewhere), Hockey, Hunting, Good Food, Campfires, drinking, and country music (we only seem to get top end country acts in buffalo consistently - the music scene here kinda stinks). Maybe gambling as we have a few casinos in the area now- but like... real gambling. Just playing table games til the wee hours, none of the clubs and famous DJs etc like a vegas trip ?. -

Still can't blame him for trying - we gave up very little... maybe it was like a back alley deal that went along with the Tyrod deal. Like - some future considerations of us taking some money back or something. -

I believe he was in man with benjamin on a long completion too -
2018 was a tough year - cousins and keenum got paid starter money and it looks like buffalo wanted no part in either. They weren't willing to part with picks for Foles as they needed the ammo to maneuver the draft. Bradford was an overpay at 20 mil. Bridgewater was like the wildcard of top end backups - and we ended up waiting and getting McCarron for a really reasonable deal. The thing was, he was thoroughly outplayed by Peterman and Allen in practice and preseason. The mistake was not keeping McCarron as Peterman flamed out spectacularly. No one they could have signed on the opening of free agency was going to be a long term or even short term solution. They also probably should have pursued Anderson sooner. Barkley kind of fell into their laps once he was healthy.

Yeah - but you have to look at the actual cash. We're eating 4.5 - but he already has that 4.5. We're saving 4.5 in cash to get rid of him. Not saying the Pegulas are in the poor house, but i wouldn't want to sign a bunch of game checks for millions of dollars to a straight up bum.
