I have the same concerns. He played well today. However I'm always comparing him to the best in my mind like Rodgers, Wilson and thinking of the Bills against one of those teams. the missed short pass to gore drove me nuts. I can't recall the brown one

Yeah. Together with the mention of 300 yd game from Allen, people wanted a 3td pass game and he did that today. I know he ran but we know he can do that. (Opponent aside) There was something different about Allen today, and the team. Watching the highlights it felt like times when the Bills play a team that are more determined than them and get pushed around - that team was the Bills today. But a kicker will always miss a kick. I hear you as I was annoyed with Allen's short throw miss to gore but then a QB will always miss a pass. I was annoyed really because it was such a routine pass and made a difference so I take your point about the closer field goal. That's the danger with FGs though. When people say 'should of just taken the 3' , there are no Guarantees.

I would always find it hard putting a loss fully on a kicker. Kicks feel like a continual lottery.

I don't think those people are idiots but people get emotional and post. The way Allen plays week in week out leads to these opinions. He has been Consistently inconsistent. I understand having patience yes. I understand him having a bad game and thinking thats the real him. The jury is still out for me as he needs to be judged over more time, but I know I feel different about allen depending on what he does from game to game.

You have to beat denver because we all know there's little evidence to say we will realistically win more than the jets and Broncos games, perhaps one of the others like other posters have said.

My favourite two plays were: 1. When he waited and waited on the balls of his feet in the pocket and threw a 3rd down pass(I think) to brown in the centre of the field. Great presence. 2. The touchdown to Knox where he waited patiently and threw a calm simple pass for the TD.
