  1. A defensive depth player, Spencer Johnson is unsigned for next year and they'll need to replace him. What does it hurt to keep him around for camp next year and see if he can contribute?
  2. If Roosevelt is the 6th or 7th WR then he's likely doing neither.
  3. Martin contributes to special teams, which if a player is going to be kept as the 6th or 7th WR I think it's important that he does.
  4. Yesterday on WGR Joe B stated that he wouldn't be surprised if they keep only 5 WRs and Brad Smith as their 6th. Meaning all three get cut.
  5. According to this he's signed through 2013: 3/17/2010: Signed a four-year, $18 million contract. The deal contains $6.65 million in bonus money, including a $1.2 million roster bonus in the second year. 2012: $3.8 million, 2013: $3.65 million, 2014: Free Agent http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/2793/dwan-edwards
  6. My guess is no, they give him a year to get healthy and come back and compete for a roster spot. Plus next year Spencer Johnson's contract is up so there may be a spot open.
  7. Troup to IR
  8. The WGR freeze dates back to Chuck Dickerson, and 12 years of ineptitude needs no amplification.
  9. According to Ross Tucker via Twitter the Pats cut Fanene under "failure to disclose a physical condition" and are likely going after the $3.85M bonus he received. Not really comparing apples to apples anymore.
  10. I'm surprised you didn't see that coming. Outside of kids day 5 years old is way too young for a Bills game.
  11. Whitehurst is on San Diego
  12. The Bills website has Brad Smith listed under other on their website. It's not like Chan is the one updating the site daily. They're likely basing it on reps taken in camp. Also, "other" seems like the appropriate spot for a wildcat QB while the other two battle for the 2nd QB spot. Doubtful they keep 3.
  13. Ponder, Webb, Rosenfels, Bethel-Thompson
  14. Joe Buscaglia tweeted that NFL Films won't be making it available for HBO Go
  15. Camp isn't at St. Johns either. I think it's a valid point. If Potter proves to be accurate enough from 50+, something we know Lindell can't do, and proves to be about as accurate as Lindell in close to medium range I see no reason to waste a roster spot on 2 kickers. Obviously it's too early to make that call now and I think the OP realizes that so I'm not sure why all the venom. Both Lindell and Potter have 4 preseason games to kick in the swirling winds at the Ralph and with 300# men rushing the kick. So it'll shake out by cut down day.
  16. He was passed by Rogers at the nickle corner spot at the end of last year, I assume he'd have to earn his way back into that role. Not sure McGee makes it out of camp.
  17. He was at one of the games later in the season.
  18. Offense: Ryan Fizpatrick, Fred Jackson Defense: Kyle Williams, Nick Barnett Special teams: Brian Moorman, George Wilson
  19. That's likely correct. The only slight change I would assume is that with Glenn being a rookie they will only saddle him with the responsibility of learning and practicing on one side. So even if Hairston were to win the starting LT job, if an injury were to occur to Pears they may move Hairston to RT and start Glenn at LT.
  20. The cost is more than the 3rd round pick you are proposing because you then have to sign him to the contract extension that he is holding out from Minnesota for.
  21. McGee still coming back from surgery
  22. Brady signed his contract using a Bic pen.
  23. Dareus didn't participate today due to some sort of obligation
