  1. Jesus, it bugs me to no end those that say DW whiffed on EJ.. No one here knows how much EJ has progressed last year sitting. Let's at least see TC please before we throw out the judgments. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that under DM, we really don't know what we don't know. Tim-
  2. Every time we have these threads (And yes it will happen one day) about Fred losing a step or being washed up, he comes out and blows everyone away, and we're all like, Wow, look at Freddie go.. I hope he stays a Bill at least this year on a playoff run, and then retire to coach.. He's a Bill right up there with the greats. IMO Tim-
  3. Yes, Wynn, Charles, Bryant, and even Lawson were a pretty darn good tandem last year. I felt either of them could have started elsewhere in the league. Tim-
  4. There is zero truth to this.. Zero! No way they cut EJ, not a chance in hell. Tim-
  5. I think in the final two minutes of the first and second half, we could test it in preseason. Tim-
  6. Sorry, regardless of his off the field transgressions, I would not want him here. I think Dallas proved last year that an average to slightly above average RB can be great with an elite Offensive line. They cost way less to build than a few costly skill position players, and I think, hope and prey that DH knows this too. Build a dominant OLine and you can win with a great defense, and average play from skill players. AP would cost way too much, and the ROI wouldn't justify the move, IMO. Tim-
  7. The Hawks had a window with Wilson as a rookie, and low contract. Parity is catching up to them now. They have a run game nothing special in receivers, and a decent to above average Oline, and of course a great D, however, take away any one part of that synergy, and the whole thing falls back to reality. What is Wilson's worth fully guaranteed? 30, 40, 60 Million? Schnieder knows full well that this is his reality, and in this case, paying Wilson the "leftover" cap to cash for two years might be in their best interests, but I agree with most here that for the NFL, it would present some interesting challenges. Tim-
  8. Sorry about the dup thread, you can delete this one as I posted in the other one. Tim-
  9. It's really hard to judge CFL Qb's (Or any player position for that matter) because of the sheer size of the field, and all the motion in the CFL. I mean, I feel bad for CFL DB's, how the hell do you cover someone with that much room to move? I like this kid, don't get me wrong, but judging talent as it translates to the NFL from the CFL is tough to do even watching film. I am sure Terry could pry him away, but at what cost, and what assurances can be had when grading one league to another is so difficult. Just food for thought. Tim-
  10. Won the Grey Cup last year, all accounts the kids has all the skills. I am not sure why we don't look more at CFL players? Anyone know much about this kid? Tim-
  11. I respectfully disagree, I do NOT think we are as bad as others tend to think about our TE position. Sure draft one, but not spending any money on one if I am the GM. Tim-
  12. We don't need a TE, period! We have a young Davis in Gray, IMO, Smith for blocking and Chandler as a mix. Draft one sure, but money is NOT best spent on acquiring a FA TE.. Just dumb! Tim-
  13. Anyone can run through the holes Murry had this year. No thanks! Tim-
  14. DW may be a lot of things, but one of them is not stupid. Cutler is NOT coming to BLo, stop with the insanity, PLEASE
  15. He dropped it because he saw AW coming at him out of his peripheral. Tim-
  16. Raiders have tall defensive line, should be good for about 100 sacks on lie down Kyle. Close game, Bills 6, Silver and Black 3 on to NE. Tm-
  17. I agree with those that say NH might not be the problem. I don't see any coach taking EJ and Orton to the playoffs any better or worse than DM and NH. What I saw/see this year was a team that really was a few plays away from being a serious playoff contender. Even losing in Denver, we could very easily be 9 - 4 (and yes with a few bounces we could be 6 - 7) but that is how it goes. Take the refs out of the equation, and who knows where we're at? I was hard on NH all year, saw no creativity, but more and more I'm starting to think that DM might be more involved with the offense than initially thought, and if so, NH has done well in spite of DM's interference. I think, regardless of our final record, we go all in on the important aspects of keeping our D together for at least another two three years, and shore up the Oline as best as possible, and look to FA for a QB to compete with EJ and Orton. I think this is the plan, and I would be ok with it. What's one more yea, eh?
  18. Well, however they grab in FA it better not be a dome QB, Ala, Ryan, Brees, Bradford. Tm-
