  1. I was so angry about this final score. It was my consolation for the Bills game- "at least we're still on top of the division." Heck, I was already thinking, "Hey, if we won this game, we could of been a game ahead in the division." But, back to your point, it obviously didn't work out well. The Cowboys' offense has really been underwhelming, and one of the reasons for that is their recent fear of putting the game in Romo's hands because of his blunders of late.
  2. I don't think anyone has complained about this...
  3. I fully agree with you- but I'm highly disappointed because we put SO much into this defense in the off-season and see no improvements. On the other hand, our new talent really does come up with good plays, so perhaps George Edwards truly is horrible. Again, I'm not looking forward to two straight years of defensive improvement. Unless the offensive talent level magically rises (not saying they aren't good, but could use improvement, or at least enough investment to keep them together), that's a poor rebuild.
  4. Rather have that aggressive identity/mentality- it's proven to win games for a lot of teams.
  5. Time to start the billboard...
  6. You're so on-point today. You're like the opposite of Fitzpatrick.
  7. I agree with his post entirely. We haven't reached our ceiling, and Fitz hasn't reached his. You can't tell me he's incapable of shoring up those long balls. Additionally, if the D tightens up a bit and gets healthy, and Fitz fixes MINOR mistakes, then this team will make the playoffs, and they will be tough to beat. I also agree with PTR though, because I think that just about every game, no matter how many points we score, we only win because we score a lot. It's always by 3-7 points.
  8. I remember sort of hoping we'd run because I could see Fitz throwing a pick. But then I remembered we were running the ball horribly (after the 80 yard run), and that a FG wouldn't be enough to win with our D. I then determined I'd rather see us attack and get that score to put it on their O to score a TD (which they weren't able to do). So, the call was a fade into the endzone to a wide open Stevie. It's all Fitz here. Fitz, just like any other NFL QB, needs to, and SHOULD make that pass 100% of the time. ...You'd think he had learned after the first one (obviously, Gailey thought he had).
  9. It's also worth noting that a collapse (say, 8-8?) would still have us farther ahead than last year, meaning there was a year-to-year improvement since Chan came in.
  10. ...That catch by Lloyd on the sidelines was perfectly placed- where only he could get it.
  11. Yes, Jackson is taller. Yet, unlike most taller running backs, he runs small.
  12. Doesn't he look kind of like Thurman? I mean, I'm not trying to start anything here. I legitimately think, when I watch his posture while he runs, the way he moves his hips, and holds the ball, and the way he finds the holes, he looks like Thomas. Granted- not half as fast.
  13. Kinda hot, and yet, kinda looks like she could beat me up.
  14. NO WONDER we didn't recognize him...
  15. Heh- there are 2 other companies- Cox and Comcast. But, despite not having NFLN, TimeWarner is head and shoulders above the other two.
  16. He certainly is tough to take down once he's got the ball.
  17. Is that what the message boards said?
  18. My girlfriend looked over my shoulder and asked if that was the Karate Kid
  19. I've been thinking the same thing. Thought I was the only one who noticed...
  20. That's incredible. 1 - These fans are probably more negative about their team than we have been in the past. 2 - How many times have we enjoyed other teams' fans (just like the Eagles' fans) throwing their hands up and assuming they just can't stop the Bills offense without a ton of pressure? I think it's so cool.
  21. Roscoe's health is repeatedly linked to his size as compared to others in the NFL. It's funny, however, to note that all of his injuries tend to be self-inflicted. He fell on his wrist and broke it. He stepped wrong on his ankle and sprained it. The guy isn't too small- more like he's 90 years old and can't handle a slip on the ice.
  22. Nope, not even close to worth the long-term damage it could cause our rebuilding team. Lloyd retires and then we are a draft pick short, and a receiver short, when we could have been playing someone else. It's stupid anyway- it's not like our #2 is gone forever, he's just injured.
  23. Ha, on the second Eagles drive in the 4th qtr when Desean Jackson catches the cross and runs like 30 yards, and at the end, the commentators like, "I think there was a bit of a hold there..." then gets cut off by the other announcer. Then the next play where Vick scrambles to the left side, Carrington is clearly held and the commentator says, "Looks like he got away with a little hold there..." as he continues to analyze the play. Hahahahaha it was all over the place.
