  1. I'll catch hell for this, but why not let Tuel get a rep every now and again? I think he'd be a great change-of-pace guy. Might serve to spell/motivate EJ a little. He's not much of an athlete, but Tuel gets rid of the ball fast. -I like that. Once Marrone/Hackett add some much-needed targets to this LAME offense, I wouldn't mind seeing Tuel thrown into the mix. -Not too much... Just enough to keep EJ competitive, and give opponents something to ponder.
  2. I see no earthly way Provo could play guard. He's too small, and can't block worth a damn. -Even for a TE. One thing Nick Provo CAN do is CATCH! He was a very reliable Target for one Ryan Nassib at the 'cuse. He's also a decent route runner (which he doesn't get much credit for.) I'd give everything in my wallet (including credit cards) that he's a better receiver than TJ Graham. -So was Brandon Kaufmann, btw... Bottom line: Nick Provo is worth bringing back just for his maturity, and reliable hands... Don't understand how Hackett can't see talent in a kid he coached himself.
  3. I thought Dickerson, and Kaufmann should have stayed. I felt as though they would have made very unique and versatile weapons for EJ down the road. Honestly though, I'd be happy if they just worked Easley into the offense. They guy can obviously catch. Why in the world would he be on ST punt coverage?... It's ridiculous.
  4. Tommy was a STUD at the U! I'm a very big proponent of throwing these kids in wet, and seeing what they can do. Activate Easley, and promote Streeter to the active Roster. Time for Marrone and Hack to stop coaching scared. Players must be given a chance to prove themselves and improve their game.
  5. Playcalling SUUUCCKKED. Too few vertical routes because the dumasses cut all the useful personnel. Spiller CANNOT run up the middle...TJ Graham IS NOT a deep threat. EJ NEEDS ANOTHER TE, AND ANOTHER WR. -Period.
  6. Nathaniel Hackett f___ed himself when he cut three very promising receivers. Fine. -You couldn't keep Rogers because of the character issues, or whatever the excuse was. But why Cut Dorin Dickerson and Brandon Kaufmann? To keep who? -TJ Graham, and Tashard Choice? You REFUSE to work Marcus Easley into the offense despite his promising pre-season. What the hell is wrong with you, man?! WHERE ARE EJ'S WEAPONS??????
  7. Rogers and TJ Graham should have NEVER made it outta TC... By contrast Crez Butler looked good for the most part today... he got SHAFTED at the end of the game on a offensive P.I. No-call.... SHAFTED!
  8. Justin Rogers. The guy is ALWAYS getting burnt. -Shoulda kept Crez Butler.
  9. Cutting Rogers, Dickerson, AND Kaufmann always seemed excessive in my book. I understood the Rogers thing because of the baggage he came with, but I'm glad the kid caught on in Indy. I DID watch him play in college, and I think if he keeps his nose clean, he'll compliment T.Y. Hilton (Another small-school kid whose college games I followed.)
  10. To be honest, I don't miss Byrd's whiny, disgruntled @ss all that much... Unfortunately I'm in the camp that was never that impressed with him to begin with. I'd like to see them give Duke Williams a legitimate shot at FS... Williams is one of those young, hungry kids that can flat-out PLAY. Not sure what they're saving him for. As far as Gilmore is goes, I'm not so sure McKelvin can't thrive at that position. He is one heck of a CB when he's focused. -Guy surprised the heck out of me last week.
  11. Chris Gragg's hands are so suspect it's ridiculous. And TJ Graham shouldn't be here. Period. I don't see the logic of keeping "speed" guys like Graham and Gragg, if your'e scared to throw the ball to them. You had a big target an playmaker for your young QB in Brandon Kaufmann, and you cut the kid? -For what? making circus catches, and dunking on the goal post after a touchdown? For Pete's sake,. Call his agent back, and have another look. You may have missed something REALLY BIG here, Doug.
  12. As far as I'm concerned, the greatest reason for hope is EJ Manuel. This kid has shown more grit in his first two outings than I realistically expected. Marching down field, and imposing your will in the final seconds of a game is HUGE. There is no stat for STUD. -It cannot be faked, or reproduced. IMO, It is incontravertible proof of a winner. EJ is looking more and more like the lunch box that Bills fans have been STARVING for. There is just ONE missing peice (on offense). -Well, maybe two... 1)A reliable deep threat/red zone target, and 2) a catch-all slot guy. (Which SHOULD be Marcus Easley) -THAT'S IT. -On Defense, our secodary BLOWS. However, the D line seems to be improving every week! Right now, I'm kinda tepid on the coaching. it looks OK, but I'm not "blown away" by their prowess by any means... Don't forget how big a part Brady plays in making Bellichick look "great". Once he gets a bit more confidence, Manuel Drive could be automatic. GO BILLS!
  13. It could be 44-12 if EJ had a few more weapons. I sure hope they work Easley into this weeks offense. I feel like this defense has been looking for a QB to get off on. Geno Smith could be that guy. Hopefully Pettine pulls out all the stops to punish his old boss.
  14. Honestly, I'm a little annoyed... If Smith had said that crap at their house, I wouldn't give a s___, but you don't talk to ANDRE REED that way at RWS. -I'm Sorry, but you just don't. In other news... WE WON THE FRICKIN' GAME. Suck on that #89
  15. Hey, you said it yourself. But IMO, it's more than just bad hands. Graham is scrawny, relatively weak, and simply cannot compete for balls in the air... He can be easily out-muscled, or simply blown off his route by incidental contact. -He's just not NFL material... I have no idea what his supporters could be looking at. I've seen ZERO proof of his ability as a speed/deep-threat WR.
  16. TJ Graham is 110% USELESS! Imagine what this offense would look like with Dickerson and Kaufmann back in the picture.... I said it before, and I'll say it again. -Marrone's final cuts on offense were FAR too deep. GET EJ SOME FRICKIN' WEAPONS DAMMIT!
  17. EJ Manuel needs better weapons. Bottom line. Marrone released Dickerson, Kaufmann, AND DaRick Rogers? Too deep, I say. At least one, maybe two of those three should have stayed to help this young big-armed signal-caller. If DaRick was as big a head-case as everyone is indicating, his cut was understandable. But cutting BOTH Kaufmann and Dickerson was premature... What's the point of showing up with the same offense the Pats swept last year? (minus Fitz) Where was Easley???? What the heck was Marrone saving him for? If we're going to be successful, the big-guy will need some more reliable targets. -Git 'R done, Dougie! GO BILLS!
  18. Cam newton MUST be roughed up on Sunday. He has to get hit hard and often. If we can't get to Newton, Pettine should get his ear chewed off. I dunno about Tropical Storm Manuel, but I am predicting an F-5 Bills-nado if we can get Newton rattled. GO BILLS!
  19. But... The guy simply can't catch... Anything... Ever. Isn't a WR supposed haul one in once in a while to be considered a viable target? Sorry, but I'm a little horrified at all the support for what is essentially a non-football player. The guy is fast. I'll conceed that much. However, running fast -a good receiver does not make... Even Possession receivers actually need to possess the ball every now and again. TE Nick provo was a poor blocker, but dammit if he couldn't catch. He was one of the guys that made Ryan Nassib look good (to some) Brandon Kaufmann didn't have blazing speed, but was athletic, and determined enough to corral the game-changing throws. IMHO Marcus Easley is the most reliable receiver we have and the team. After that it's Scott Chandler, then Robert Woods, then Steve Johnson. TJ Graham is dead last on my list of reliable Bills Wideouts. I have no clue what Buddy ever saw in him as a third-rounder. Graham would have ben there in the fifith to sixth , no question. Guy just drops everything. IMHO, it may be time to re-evealuate his presence on this team.
  20. Duke Williams. Won't show it in practice, but shows it in games. He'll show up if they play him.
  21. E.J. SIMPSON!!!!!
  22. I like Goodwin. However, I had high hopes for Brandon Kaufmann, Who Marrone foolishly cut. It was a decision that has left me somewhat bitter against this new regime. Chan didn't get it, and it looks like Marrone doesn't either. You have to be able to catch the ball before you can run with it. I look at our receiving corp, and I see a lot of footspeed, but not a lot of maturity, and/or work ethic. Brandon Kaufmann was exactly the kind of character the bills locker room needed to offset the nuckle-headedness of the incoming WR class, plus (Mr. Shenanigans) Steve Johnson. We needed this type of young player. Goodwin will take time to reach his full potential. As a return weapon, his presence will be felt immediately. As a reliable weapon for a young QB, I think not. Ouside of Spiller, Chandler, and maybe Easley, there are no visible threats teams need to prepare for, and no lethality when it comes to the red zone. At a glance, our offense seems VERY manageable for a moderately prepared defense. IMO, keeping guys like Hogan and Graham over Kaufmann was Marrone's first major F___-up. Of course, Nothing would make me happier than to be 100% WRONG in this assessment. Maybe some one can tell me which one of our receivers can consisistenly get open, make those tough catches, and deliver in the red-zone. Go Bills.
  23. Jameis Winston did right after the game when he redirected praise for himself, and heaped it upon his O-line, and receivers. FSU has some KILLER talent at other positions besides QB. Nick O'leary? -Anyone see how awesome that kid is? Personally, I was Studying Pitt's Tom Savage. Kind of well-heeled for a college QB... Rutgers, Arizona, and now Pitt. I thought he showed some good poise... Made good use of his weapons... Wasn't quite ready for FSU's speed on defense, but he threw some really nice balls. if FSU does to Clemson what it did to Pitt, I'll be impressed. Heck, if they do to MIAMI (FL) what they did to Pitt I'll be Impressed. Until then, they're a work in progress as far as I'm concerned. With a very Young, and raw talent at QB.
  24. There's no doubt in my mind that the Pats CANNOT stop Marcus Easley. Tuel to Easley = MONEY. TJ Graham can't catch. Period. I still can't forget the Pittsburgh drop. Sorry Stevie.
  25. Very hard to take the points considering whats been going on in Bills nation.... The big boys in Vegas are going to lay the wood on Brady... I expect that line to move north of 11.5 graduallly up until gametime. If nothing goes wrong on the Patsoes home front, I wouldn't be shocked to see -13.5 or more by next Sunday.
