  1. Since there was a (now deleted) thread on TSW, with over 125 replies, mocking a few of the departed and banished posters who now visit and rave at another website, I guess I owe you a public apology, Rich. I guess it is open season on anyone.
  2. There was Hurricane Agnes in the early 70's that made a lake from Rochester to Mt. Morris dam. People were water skiiing in the corn fields and pastures near Geneseo (hello, sunken logs and barbed wire fences mean anything?) There have been a few nasty ice storms too, but I agree. In general a storm never tossed my roof across the road, and the worst flooding I got was about a foot deep in my basement. I have seen people (Perry Center) exiting their house from the 2nd floor, sliding down a drift, and tunneling back to the front door because the snow drifts were so high. Good luck to all the folks in the path of this storm!
  3. Closer to the Griswald mobile, wood panels and all. Road Trip! It might be coming to the tailgate - Mom won't let me drive the new car.
  4. As far as I am concerned, there is just about nothing prohibited here. If there is an inner circle, they have my e-mail address if they want me. It is one thing to single out a dumb statement - Rettata and Google searches come to mind. So do 'tennis balls in the plughole' and 'I peed with Dorenbos' - both mine. I like a laugh as much as anyone. We have known each other a long time Rich. Why so sensitive? It is one thing to tease about a dumb statement or rant; it is another to take a personal shot at someone, especially since they left here. I avoid a lot of stuff, so I do not always know (or care) what everyone else is doing, but this caught my eye as I surfed through. I was not trying to single you out. I ask you a simple question and you respond with basically "everyone is doing it and why are you picking on me"? You can do better than that! If I see ya at the tail gate, I will buy you an ale. Don't take it so seriously.
  5. Rochester, NY $2.53 (up one cent from yesterday) Wal*mart Plaza @ Hudson and E. Ridge Rd I have an 8 passenger '96 Buick Roadmaster Stationwagon the wife uses for business. Cost me $47 to fill up. This week we broke down and traded the 1992 Tracer wagon for a 2005 Honda Accord. Since we drive cars until the expense of repairs exceeds the book value, it is a good deal to me! Should be driving it until at least 2017.
  6. He has not posted in almost two months and you still take shots at him?
  7. Gee, that would make a good plot for a network movie.
  8. I never signed off. You are stuck with me.
  9. Welcome back, Mark and congrats to you and the family. What is your newest daughter's name? Also remember - reading IS doing something. (try telling that to my wife!)
  10. June - Ocean City MD July - Alex Bay/Wellesly Island, NY August - Old Forge, NY August - used extra days for training camp Recommended reading: Fall Down Laughing (How Squiggy Caught MS and Didn't Tell Nobody) by David Lander. This is a GREAT description of MS in layman's terms, a very good autobiography, and an excellent 1st hand account of what it feels like to have MS.
  11. Thanks for the detailed story. Gives us a better feel of what is going on down there when it is personal. I like stories with happy endings! see you soon....
  12. I would give Losman and the first team as much time as possible to "gel" as a unit. First half, maybe 1st series of Q3.
  13. Matthews has at least an ounce of potential and I believe he provides value to JP as a mentor. I liked Woodbury after watching him in camp, but I would not keep him over Matthews.
  14. But 80's is now retro and therefore "in".
  15. What a LAME thread.
  16. cheap gas locator Oil/Gas extortion is a political issue. I have an economic issue with that!
  17. That s good news. Always fun to tailgate with Petrino!
  18. Hootie cares, the Blowfish do not.
  19. Good Luck, Rich! I have a policy of always asking them what name is on the clipboard, and what does it say they are going to do BEFORE I get the anesthetic. May you dream of Garbage Plates. Rest up for the opener!
  20. Maybe he was getting too "ODE" to play.
  21. Oh, well! Nice try anyway. You are right about kids and autographs. My father was the Boosters treasurer that year.
  22. He was moving too fast for my camera to capture. I have a lot more pics on another digital that I have not downloaded yet (need to reload some s/w). If I find anything I will let you know.
  23. How good could you be, sitting with me and Jay? Actually you behaved very well, considering you were on the aisle and so many parents think Training Camp is a place let their kids annoy the sh-- out of every other adult. Did Greer get the jersies?
  24. It is listed as two words at bb.com
