I completely disagree. There's always a want for more but it's just not true comparatively.

I don't have an issue with the allocation because I think Beane has done a good job. This is not a bash on McD but it's what you get with a defensive head coach. McD uses allocation on defense well and no name corners, safeties and to some extent LB's contribute. It doesn't happen on offense. This is why turning the offense over to inexperience, is a problem. My opinion. We're a good team but we stop short of being great and it almost always looks like coaching to me.

It really was a bad all around game. I'll throw in two very weak punts, bobble on a returnable punt and the missed FG.

We should learn from this and do more low percentage things next time. Then be really conservative against bad teams.

I understand your point, it's just not a good one. You're assuming going for it is a guarantee you get it. What if you don't? That's why it's dumb. I'm a game like tonight, if you add in doing risky things, percentages say the game would be totally out of reach. That's dumb.

Seriously? Because you don't do risky - low percentage things against good teams - they'll shove them up your a&&. You do them against bad teams because you don't respect them enough to punish you if they backfire. Pretty simple concept to understand.
