Just the way the schedule was constructed back in 2002 when they went to four team divisions.  We could very well host them three years in a row now if we happen to finish in the same place in the division this year and next (2024, 2025).  We're for sure scheduled to play them at home in 2026.  Season opener in new stadium?

It has always been very simple.

When playing against the entire division, then it is always a. Home-Away-Home pattern....2017 - Chiefs at Home,  2020 - Bills at Home and 2023 - Chiefs at home.   In the non-division year, the same finish positions play each other but at the same location for the two years and then they will rotate again.  So Chiefs got to host the Bills in 2021 and 2022 as the AFC West is home to AFC East.  In 2024 and 2025, we will host whoever we are playing against in AFC West.

We still have a solid chance at playing two home games to start the playoffs. That’s what to root for.

This!.   If the Ravens beat the Dolphins  (and we take care of business at home against the Patriots) then the AFC East division title is on the line.  If we win, then we get a home game in January.  The Bills will be playing their starters in that game

As a likely #2 seed we also will get the 2nd team from AFC North or the 2nd team from the suddenly weak AFC South in that home playoff game. And if we win that then we will get a 2nd home playoff game against likely against the Chiefs but in HighMark stadium.

I don't love the idea of needing any help Week 18.  Hopefully it's all squared away by then (aside from us needing to take care of our own business).  Who knows which playoff bound teams have what to play for in the final week of the regular season.

With the remaining schedule for the Ravens and the Chiefs -  The chiefs are licking their chops for that #1 seed once again

In his last 20 games (only 3 starts) Epenesa has 11 sacks, 22 pressures, 11 TFLs, 11 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles and 2 INTs. I think you are absolutely right someone is going to look at that production for a rotational rusher and say "man if we make him a starter and get that production" and he will get paid beyond what I would consider a sensible market value. Would not shock me at all if his contract value ends up netting the Bills a 4th round comp in 2025. I also don't think he will live up to the contract he gets personally, because I think he is at his best as a situational rusher, but pass rushers are so valuable some team with some cap space will take a chance.

I think people will also see if he is making plays at critical times to force a stop or a turnover.

If that is what this is about, I hope they don't rush him.

They're rolling right now and can afford to ease him back in very slowly.

Waiting to dress him for the Miami game would give them a nice bump and allow him another few weeks to heal.

Correct and Joseph has actually been playing outstanding giving the opportunity for Oliver to attack the QB.   I wish we could have signed him much earlier

Can someone point out the “multiple single arm tackles” that occurred? I hope a defender diving at his ankles isn’t considered a single arm tackle. How do the tackles here differ from any other back in the league save Derrick Henry?

I also didn't realize that Cook is #2 in the NFL in Rushing Yards for the season with 968 yards only behind CMC

very respectfully, jag, I just can’t get there.  Not when you lose an all pro difference making LB, a former all pro CB who was finally “back” and a space eating defensive lineman.

please know, I know exactly what you mean, but it is just we are still on the outside looking in and as of now just 5-5 (after two straight wins) since losing our guys in London.

    Go Bills.

Agree... WE should have beaten Denver at home,  NE, Eagles and the Jets on the road.   The next two games may be easy but they have to go and compete and then hope for one loss from the Dolphins against the Cowboys or the Ravens.....Then that final game of teh season will be so meaningful.

    10.5 sacks this year.

When was the last time we had 10+ sack player?

I'll save you some time, it was Lorax in 2016.

Great job Beane on this one, great job Floyd on the field.

Now can we sign him to an extension. We will lose Epenesa to FA and possibly part ways with Von.

No obvious conclusion, either. Agree he really deserves credit. If Kincaid can continue contributing, we just need one more player to step up. Diggs is the obvious candidate.

I'm happy with Ty Johnson and Shakir. Davis feels like baggage at this point.

Did Davis even have a single catch today?

We may have given Miami the biggest headache by beating Dallas so bad, then Miami going to Baltimore. Sizing up to be winner take all in Miami

We still have a chance.   But we have to take care of business first at LA and back home against the Patriots.  The Miami game is away quite far.  Go Bills!

Miami still controls their own destiny as we are two games behind them. Need them to lose one more before the Bills play them in the season finale.

Miami also have Dallas, Baltimore and us.     If we can take care of business against Cowboys then we could have a chance.  One issue is that the Dolphins play three out of the last four at a home.   Getting the division may be difficult this year....The Jets, Broncos, Patriots and Eagles games hurt us so much.... We could be sitting here 11 and 2 with full control of the top seed.
