The Bengals are beating the Chiefs.
Isn't Jamar Chase not playing today ?
Let us take care of business first. Go Bills !!

Panthers nearly beat the Packers who have been playing much better football than the Jaguars as of late.
Definitely could see the Jaguars free fall continue hear and it almost feels like the AFC South is there for the Texans if Stroud comes back healthy and plays the rest of the way.
More likely for Indy to win as both their games are at Home (LV, HOU)

Bradford was pretty good when he was healthy. He was just always injured
never won anything as he jumped from team to team and collected good money.

I pretty much disagree completely. Also almost all of the “arm punts” this year have given his receiver a chance and they have come up with none of them. One the DB yanked the ball right out of Diggs’ hands.I see WR on other teams make athletic catches down the field every week and ours can’t even do it once.
Digss one handed catch (twice)....Davis stretching to get that ball for TD... They have been there... What we don't see is the wide open receivers like we saw in the game yesterday night

It was a complaint about Rodgers, he wouldn't throw a lot of INTs but then he would get to the playoffs and would play too conservative and the Packers would lose. Great for his stat sheet, not so great for beating elite teams. It's a tricky needle to thread. You don't want to be Jameis Winston but you don't want to be Tyrod Taylor either. As I've said a few times I think Allen has crossed the line between aggressive and reckless a tad too often this year, especially against bad opponents where an ugly win would get it done. I would still rather have 40 TDs with 15 INTs than say 30 TDs with 8 INTs though. Turnover differential is a fun stat but points on the board are actually what win games.
I agree... The Bills win the games against Jets and Broncos if Allen had taken what was given at the end of the game

They just need to expand and have Leopards and Cheetahs.....The Dolphins could possibly rename them as the Cheetahs!

I disagree, he isn’t the engine makes that O run that would be Hill. Without Hill the O is pedestrian.
They have excellent running backs. They can run the ball as much as play catch

I think Howell will settle into the Minshew career arc. High end back up, good enough to start but not good enough for a team to commit to and build around. He'll be an very solid bridge guy as teams look for their QB of the future. And he will make a ton of cash doing it.
Todd Collins, Charlie Batch comes to mind.
The biggest prize winner of all was Sam Bradford before they capped money for 1st round picks. I think he made a whopping 125M or something in those days !!!

From all accounts, Peterman is a whiteboard wizard who seduces coaches with knowledge of the game. It's just too bad for him that his arm makes Tua look like Dan Marino.

It used to be commonly accepted that a high ankle sprain was at the very least a month long recovery, especially for a WR. Nowadays it seems like these guys are back out there in a matter of hours.
A google search on High Ankle Sprain:
How long does it take for a high ankle sprain to heal?
Recovery from a high ankle sprain, often caused in football when a player plants a foot on the ground before an extreme outward twist of the foot, can take 4-6 weeks. Severe high ankle sprains can take up to six months and might require surgery.

I agree with this, I only question your premise of that Tua has shown to be more than a game manager, I’ve seen him manage that explosive set of weapons but I don’t recall Tua taking over a game on his own when all else fails.
I certainly hope and believe the Dolphins will extend him as you suggested, I love that idea.
If the Dolphins have not been in that situation, that should not be held against him. He is a quick rhythm passer who can do some damage with his deadly accuracy. Tua will be competing with Josh for a long time for the AFC East crown. Go Bills !

Seems like it’s Lamar’s unless he craps out vs Miami. I just don’t feel like he’s had an MVP type season.
If Allen can take care of business next week and then go into Miami and take the AFC East crown, then he will be the front runner ahead of Lamar

Haha that’s definitely not a hit to Allen’s walletHe has got $100M less than Burrow or Watson - Guys who are not even playing the game

I assume he won't go with the cheapest one so it's not a huge percentage of his total income but at least noticeable. Maybe he will need to do a few more Pepsi commercials.

Honestly, we see why they never let Russ cook. Dude is just a game manager. Payton looks very overrated as well though.
might be the worst trade in history given the cost and his salary.
his ego is too big to not be a problem as a backup. I could see the Steelers kicking the tires on him. He actually might be a good fit there.

They didnt hire Sean Peyton and pay him up to $100 million to get 26 TD/8 int season out of Wilson, it was a grand slam contract, either he gets the Broncos to win playoff game or two or not. He likely wont even make the playoffs. Hiring Payton was, a disaster imo.
This is his first year to fix the team. Give him a few years and a stable QB and he will figure out how to compete with the Chiefs

Maybe a silly thing to do, but when I remove all numbers from the equation (i know they are integral to the debate), take two giant steps back and think about the season to-date, I don't think Josh Allen has had an MVP season.
To me it's a year in that someone like CMC or Tyreek Hill should win it. Their teams look very differently when they are not on the field.
I shudder to even think about what this team will look like if Allen is NOT on the field. Go Bills !!!

Russ has actually had a pretty decent season for the most part even though he's asked to do a lot of things outside his skillet.
Payton was always going to get rid of him after this year and get "his guy".
I can definitely see them going after Kirk Cousins

Our path to the 2nd seed.
Best Case scenario is above playing out and we winning the AFC East and the #2 seed.
Wild Card option -
* If Miami wins against Baltimore and then lose to us - they still win the AFC East. In that acse we will be WC #6 as we will not catch up with Cleveland unless they lose two games.
*. If we win and PIT and CIN lose week 17 then we are in.

I see Kincaid as the WR2 in this offense, split with James Cook. I assume the Bills will move Shakir up in the depth chart and then draft a speedy WR especially to stretch the defense.
The Bills still have significant weapons on offense and are unable to use them to their advantage.

Credit Chan Gailey on the Spiller-Johnson feat, man was very good as an offensive game planner.
But the spiller pick was insane considering we already had two very good RBs in beast mode and Jackson

Glad we will have Jones back. That is great news and even though Hyde has lost a step we need him in there over Rapp. Rapp is a tackling machine but awful in coverage. Shorter is a body catcher and won’t help Josh at all but maybe special teams he could be valuable. Hopefully Elam is healthy now and can be used in case of emergency because he did show some promise at the end of last year
Rapp also plays dirty and is inline for being called with a penalty. He hurts the team more often

Honestly I'm just glad to see the Bills D both playing better and getting healthier.
DaQuan should be back soon and I'm hoping for Micah and Epenesa's returns too.
Our problem with our D right now is the back side, especially the safety position. Poyer looks old and seems to have lost a step.

You often get an easier game as a 5th seed than as a third seed though you lose home field. Of course 5th seed is unlikely this year.
If the Bengals, Colts and Texans win in Week 17 then we will stil have to go to Miami and win the final game (assuming we beat the Patriots at home in Week 17) as there are really only two WC sports and there will be four teams.
