Interested to see who starts in Milano’s spot. Klein won’t make any mistakes but limited athleticism.
I think it will be a mix of Dodson, Dorian

DOOMED I SAY, DOOMED!
God, the worst two guys to lose for the defense. Even as much as I hate the Tre lost, we had depth. Milano is besides Josh, my favorite Bills for the last 20 years. Jones is like an immovable object and Oliver has been shining so well next to him.
Agreed. Tim Settle has been very underwhelming

He looked bad out there from what I saw, but I think a lot of that was due to him being thrown into the fire unexpectedly during a game in London. With a full week of practice I think expect him to look alot better Sunday night.
Are you telling me that he was not prepared for the job? That is against McDermott's philosophy. Go Bills !

Man, thinking about this...
Miller, Groot, Oliver, Floyd. That's one hell of third-down line... Even if Groot doesn't always bring pressure, I bet he'd swat a few balls. I'd love to see this.
I think teams will be tempted to still run on 3rd down with this defense.

Surprised Kraft doesn’t have marketing rights there.
Bills have no international marketing rights yet. Behind the ball as usual.
no Canada ?

can we start referring to trades involving a 6th for a player and a 7th as a "Boogie"
BTW, How is Boogie doing with the Giants?

I know that but didn't feel it was necessary to start a 2nd thread that was basically related to the same thing.
Thanks. Did Allen win the Fedex player of week too ?

Bass needs special mention especially with that 53-yard boot before half time. If he misses that kick, then we are giving the ball to the Dolphins closer to mid field and they could have flipped around by a FG and hten they got the ball back to start the 3rd quarter and marched down for a TD...the score could have suddenly become 28-24. That kick was Clutch.

Let down teams: Jets, Bengals, Giants, Broncos
Surprise Teams: Texans, Bucs, Rams, Colts, Cardinals
What am I missing?
People keep forgetting Baltimore...is definitely one of the contenders.. Also, Steelers have been a let down team

And of course, the Bills are the only team in the AFC that has another team in their division. The Chiefs have no excuse to not get the one seed again. I was really hoping they would lose last night. But they have the easier schedule from here on out. Yes, we play them and can gain a game, but we also have the Eagles and Cowboys to play, but the Dolphins again. The Chiefs only have to play us and the Dolphins once.
In any case, just some thoughts
Divisional games will always be a dog fight. The Chargers will be giving the Chiefs a boatload to handle.

These Miami fans got caught up in the media promoting the offense using words like “historic,” “unstoppable,” and “indefensible.” These were gross exaggerations.
Scoring 70 points is quite an accomplishment but the hype led you to believe that this type of offensive explosion would happen every week.
I’ve seen a lot of Miami fans down on the team after the loss. The bottom line is they are still a pretty good team - especially offensively and that should be in contention for playoffs, maybe the division. The defense is kind of a mess. I don’t think Fangio has all the right players he wants to run his scheme. But you have to think they’ll get at least a little better
they did have 390 yards of offense and none of them were during garbage time. Their offense is potent; it is just that the Bills offense was better on the given day

I'd rather blow everyone out all the way to a lombardi but it will be interesting to see how this team deals with tight games or having to come back.
Team did a great job coming back to tie the Jets game. They can definitely do it, Go Bills !

Benford being okay makes a big difference here.
But is he ok after the injury to his shoulder ?

The Bills have a challenge going into next Sunday's game. The Jaguars are already in London for the past week and will spend rest of the week there. The Bills will have to go early and acclimatize to the conditions. I hope our JA overcomes their JA this time around. Go Bills !

Poyer and Hyde are going to go down as two of all my all-time favorite Bills players. Two guys who were each undervalued assets, signed at approximately the same time, at the very beginning of the rebuild, who ended up being plug-and-play cornerstones in the secondary. Plus they both just seem like good dudes.
I know their time in the defensive backfield is drawing to a close. Just glad they were able to build careers here.
hope they win the Lombardi this year. Go Bills

I empathize with you - I am going on a short road trip with friends and family, there is a 3:30 am India vs Australia World Cup cricket match and then this Jags game in London. Too much sports, too little time
Me Too....That game (Cricket World Cup) will finish at 10 PM for me and then the Bills game at Jax will start !!!!! Too much to watch and so less time !!! Go Bills !

I would have to look it up, but I honestly can't remember the last time the Bills had an RB rush for over 1,000 yards in a season. With the exception of Allen, I think Cook will be the key to beating the Fins. If he can have another good day running, then that means the Bills are controlling the clock and keep the Fins offense on the sidelines. It will also open the passing game if the Fins D has to pay attention to Cook running the ball. Of course, the most important thing is to finish drives with 7 not 3.
WE need Cook, Harris and Murray to come to the party.

Thank you for this. In the last 3 weeks the Bills have faced arguably 2 of the top 5 DL's in the NFL and held up well. They also seem to be improving each week which is what we all hope for.
This week will be no easy...

I think what we are witnessing is the evolution into what the Bills braintrust sees as their “blueprint” to taking the next step for winning in the postseason. It’s no secret McD would like to see more running and more control by the trenches. I think we are witnessing Buffalo making the transformation from the pass happy offense of the last few years into what they think and hope will finally get them over the finish line in Jan and Feb. It will be a work in progress with peaks and valleys all season, seeing what works and what doesn’t. I expect the plan is to be firmly comfortable with this “new” style balanced offense by December for the home stretch. And I bet by next season they have it even more perfected.
For this they need to run Harris more,

He’s got a few weapons on offense and he’s even got the coordinator who had the number 2 ranked offense in football last year at some point realize it’s the player not the coaching.
Heck Josh had to play last year with two guys who were retired at the start of the season.QBs need talent around them see Jalen Hurts but if you look at the salary structure with The Chargers they pay their guys like they are elite.
It all comes down to how you succeed in the draft. The teams that win the SB continue to load through the draft so that they don't have to pay big money for above average players. The Bills are paying big numbers for above average players such Dawkins ($14M), Knox ($6.5M), Morse ($11M) and this year to Hyde ($10.5M) and Taron Johnson ($7M). - All numbers are their cap hits for 2023.
They will have to do a salary cap purge next year to clean this mess. Their issue is that their backups or their draft picks have not worked out....they have missed badly on their 2nd and 3rd round picks.
