This is huge.  Douglas covers Kelce and who covers Rice?  If it comes down to needing our defense to need a big stop, we are going to be outmatched in certain positions.  I don't like this at all.  If we don't have Bernard and Johnson too, we are in trouble.

The pass rush needs to come through. Need big game from Oliver, Groot and Epenesa.  Go Bills !!!

He used injuries as his excuse last season. At some point it is what it is.

It would be 4 years of losses, 2 years with no improvement.

This is the biggest game of his career so far. It would also depend on how we lost. We’d be getting into Marvin Lewis territory.

    Don’t blow it!

Lewis never won a playoff game.  Go Bills !!!

Would've liked to see him get a chance in short-yardage situations a few times. Their version of the tush push is predictable as hell (Allen always goes left), and it's clear they've gone to the well one too many times there.

I agree. The element of surprise has gone.  When the DL is ready for the push-tush, it is not working and we are barely getting to the other side and that is not going to hurt us.  We have James Cook's speed, naked bootleg, a quick hitch and throw or have Allen run from the shotgun.  They need to mix it up.  Go Bills !!!

  4. Also credit Brady for what he has done with Josh... Here is a snippet from an nfl.com article

Since Joe Brady took over as offensive coordinator in November, the Bills' use of heavier formations (more offensive linemen) and an increase in rushing efficiency has created fewer opportunities for turnovers, with Allen committing just eight (seven picks, one fumble lost) in that eight-game span, compared to 14 (11 picks, three fumbles lost) in his 10 previous games this season.

Anyway the coaches can bench Von and put Phillips in his place?

The injuries of course are concern #1, but concern #2 would be there no pass rush on Rudolph all night, so you might as well just put big bodies out there so they can get their hands up.

The Steelers have a very good OL

The 13 second Chiefs game was Allen's 2nd best.  This one was on par with his spectacular game against Indy in 2020.  The bottom line is Allen is stacking up a lot of great playoff games.

Yeah...that one too.  He was very sublime in those games just like today.

    1. Elam - did not see him thrown at much at all after the INT.  Can’t wait to see the game grades on him.

    2. Klein

    3. Shakir

    Things I didn’t like:

    1.  Only 1 sack on 40 Rudolph drop backs.

    2. Dawkins was not good tonight

    3. Bass.  wtf man.

The OL was going against one of the best DL in football and they did reasonably well by keeping the pocket clean.  Go Bills !

Can't imagine there's a whole lot out there? Genuinely have no idea but you can always do worse

Definitely don't think he is here next year though

His cap hit may be too much.  I think he needs to get his confidence back

  9. Diggs.. He made some tough catches and gave others a chance ot make plays

Watt being out changes everything for them. And obviously the weather is going to be a huge factor (I’m soft, I want a dome, this hurts our offense). But I think the best way to attack Pittsburgh is to spread the field with receivers. But obviously, we may not a choice now.

we still have Diggs, Kincaid, Cook and Knox who can affect the passing game significantly

My early predictions for coaching hires. This changes a bit if any playoff teams fire coaches.

    Patriots - Mike Vrabel (easy)

    Seattle - Dan Quinn (easier)

Washington - Harbaugh (near his bro in opposite conference with owners who have a lot of money and get to mold the new franchise QB, Drake Maye)

Chargers - Ben Johnson (they miss out on Harbaugh but get the next best offensive coach for Herbert)

    Raiders - Antonio Pierce (easy)

Falcons - Bill Belichick (seems like the guy Blank would want)

Titans - Bobby Slowik (stealing a rival OC to help mold Levis)

Panthers - Ejiro Evero (who else besides Eric Bienemy are going to want this job)

Caroll will take up one of these jobs, especially if the Chargers are willing to hire him
