    I got a feeling they will trade him next year … he will be better off too… he is still a TE1 on some team and his role in Buffalo is diminished …

    He still makes those tough sideline catches.

    Huge upgrade over Gabe Dropavis.  Sign a S and go BPA in the first and 2nd.

    We still need to hit on many of the 11 draft picks so that we can get younger faster.  2024 will be the last year of Diggs and Miller.   We will be looking to also get replacements for them this year.

    Numbers may confirm or change my opinion, but I’m glad we’re staying young and not spending heavy on an aging pass rusher.

    Von, Rousseau, AJE, KJ is a room we can roll with if we spend/draft elsewhere.

    and two draft picks at the DE would be awesome,

    Not even comparable, We WILL be a playoff team next year and for years to come with Josh. This is just a blip...nothing more . Bean did a much needed "reset" with the cap and the crazy thing is we aren't worse in the wear for it .Next years cap is so squeaky clean even with some more moves to come. Nail the draft(no easy task ), make a few smart moves...Very happy with the outlook after today...GO Bills!!!!

    Don't reach for players.  Let the draft come to you

    Don't draft "potential" players and then wait for four years

    Draft for Speed...Speed Kills

    I'm starting to think we should definitely release Poyer. The safety market is so deep. Poyer can find out for himself that no one is giving him $7.7 million this year. If he wants to come back for $3 million this year, fine. But if not we can easily find a cheap and capable option to replace him.

    He could also agree to take a pay cut and stay back for $3M thereby saving as from any cap hit

    So, with the Bates trade, we have 11 picks now, right? Beane should be able to shuffle a few of them for earlier picks, possibly an additional 2nd.

    We need to reload the roster with young players..We should use all those picks to draft players and stay away from the 1st week of FA.

    Generally I agree that Douglas was very good for us last year and I have been a proponent of extending him for cap relief this year. That being said I won't be upset with any 30+ year old player Beane decides to move on from this offseason. We have to force young players onto the field one way or another. We've pushed the youth rebuild off for far too long.

    Agreed.  The Bills need to get younger, faster and FAST......They cannot be afraid to offload veterans with bloated salaries while young players with bloated salaries are riding the pine,  We have to start living and dying with our young players...

    I’ve been fair minded when it comes to Mahomes on here. To the point of being accused of not being a Bills fan. lol

    So let’s be objective about our qb on our board. You cannot possibly think Allen is Colin Montgomerie. Unless you’re just trash talking. I’d say Allen is Phil in golf context. It took Phil a little while to get his majors but he got there. Allen will too. To say he won’t ever is ridiculous.

    In the NFL, you never know !  Go Bills !

    Statistically, Josh Allen outplayed Mahomes on that day but we still lost

    Why?

    Because the bills will be ready to win a Super Bowl whenever the players around Josh Allen make plays when it matters

    It really is a simple as that

    including Josh Allen.

    I wonder if the 49ers fans want to fire Shanahan today because he can't win vs Reid/Mahomes?  He has the same problem McDermott has, the only difference is he's in the other conference, so he can go further in the playoffs before he gets to the Reid/Mahomes obstacle.

    His defense and ST hurt him today.

    the condensed formations we ran seemed related to our tendencies and history trying to force 20 personnel. i think we stuck to known formations instead of trying to rewrite the playbook. we used the same formations with new wrinkles.

    going forward i think brady needs to see what he has on paper. not concern running every play or every first down. get creative and look at putting the passing schemes that suit his players and create the mismatches that his qb can thrive on.

    I agree...NFL offenses have evolved...You cannot stay with a few plays and try to get by it.  That is what got Dorsey fired.  Daboll was very successful in being creative with his plays.  Unfortunately, he did not see eye to eye with McDermott.

  12. Gone from last year squad:

    * Hyde, Poyer, White,  Jackson

    * Rapp, Hamlin,

    * Matkevich,

    * Floyd, Epenesa, Ford, Jones, Lawson,

    * Harty, Sherfield, Davis

    * Murray

    * Morse

    It is the defense once again that is garbage and needs to be retooled yet again.  Unfortunately, they cannot get rid of MIller(and his big contract) and hence they will have to give up White (and his big contract).

    The offseason is pretty simple to me offensively get Josh two more WRs and maybe another olineman.

    The defense back seven seems to be just a health issue but in order we need a safety to replace Hyde and we need help on the defensive line mainly DT.

    Kicker as it showed in this game is major concern as Tyler didn’t have his best year…he’s one of the top paid kickers in the league but he missed some makable kicks see KC.

    Take nothing away from 49ers or Ravens but the Super Bowl was played a few weeks back in high mark stadium.

    The AFC will be even tougher next year but we are just as good as anyone. Onward.

    The Bills backups are average to below average. We need better talent for them to step up and not miss a beat.
