It appears things have changed since 1994 as based on the actual study I provided. I didn't see any statistics in that abstract or any access to the actual article or underlying research. I am not familiar with The Public Interest, is it still in circulation? But if the findings from The Public Interest circa 1994 carry more weight with you than the United States Sentencing Commission, then cheers.

Every one of the studies I have seen explicitly considers and adjusts for prior offenses. This is a convenient explanation but it doesn't hold water. https://www.ussc.gov/sites/default/files/pdf/research-and-publications/research-publications/2017/20171114_Demographics.pdf You will want to refer to the section about Prior Violence as a consideration and the 20% observed disparity in length of sentence. I am well aware of the crime statistics in this country. Are you offering a defense of stereotyping in the coverage of individual events? I don't know what this even means. Did it. Done it. Do you intend to make a point based on said statistics?

At least you have the guts to say it. I would encourage you to do a modicum of research about prevailing stereotypes in the depiction of black people in the news and media, a topic which has decades worth of research for your consideration. Or you can take a look at sentencing disparities between blacks and whites. If you're still convinced that the white man can't get a fair shake in America then we can agree to disagree.
-
Then be brave and go on record with the reason. You too @Bob Jones I can't wait to hear about how the media in this country is afraid to paint black men in a negative light.

Because there has been an increasing sensitivity to not showing, or glorifying the cowards who perpetrate these horrific acts. The media finally learned their lesson after the wildly irresponsible coverage of Columbine and VA Tech. Coverage now focuses on the victims instead of the losers.

What separates the Chiefs from every other team…
Jauronimo replied to Bills Bud's topic in The Stadium Wall
We should have taken the Chiefs to Overtime despite a banged up defense and 2 days less rest. The difference between the two teams is competent defense and health. -
Allen needs to mentally overpower Mahomes

Nahh, he fits the profile of a conscientious objector to the T. Total coward. The real tough guys took a principled stand and boycotted the game entirely . -
The Pats fanbase is pretty fair weathered so they faded away as quickly as their team has post Brady. They are 100% Yankees Suck fans now which makes them more tolerable. The Fins have vaulted back up to my most hated team and it feels great.

I mean there is the high lead content in the water supply, exposure to heavy metals from the old steel mill. Half of the mafia was born, played on, or went to school on current Superfund sites and the other half under high transmission power lines. Whatever gray matter survived childhood has been under a constant assault from Rumpleminz and ice beer. We're a special bunch.

Allen was a bigger project than Mahomes coming out and he seems to have turned out just fine. I think Mahomes may have panned out as well in Buffalo.

In Depth Article Regarding Grass vs Turf Injuries

Open air stadiums release major amounts of greenhouse gas relative to domes. Look at a chart of CO2 levels and global temperatures since Franklin Field first opened at the turn of the 20th century. Its uncanny!! -
I worded it poorly but Josh will have had two seasons significantly better than either of Lamar's MVP seasons with nothing to show for it.

Its basically the "QB on the team with the best regular season record" award at this point.

Its a sport where points are awarded based on how far you can jam your thumb into your opponents butthole and you're wondering why it hasn't gained mainstream popularity?!? -
If Lamar wins it will be the second time he has won it over Josh with half the stats. Does anyone actually buy Lamar as MVP?

WTF is the Raw Dog Diet? Pineapple and oysters? Another crotch goblin may be out of the picture now that you're vasectomized but I still recommend you wrap it up @Royale with Cheese lest you find out why they call it the Dirty South.

Did you know more people will smoke pot this year than hug their children? Chilling stuff. Especially when you consider 90% of pot cases lead to crack or heroin. The stats are overwhelming.

Once your steak has finished cooking throw the bag in an ice bath for a few minutes before searing. Going straight from the bath to the cast iron doesn't give you much of a window to get that perfect steakhouse crust without going past your desired temp. A couple of minutes in an ice bath usually gives me 4 minutes to get a perfect crust. I go 1 minute per side then flip every 30 seconds.

No one. The Chiefs and Bills could both use an influx of talent. A 1st ballet Hall of Fame tight end gives Chiefs skill position players the edge.
