  1. Does it take an old man like me to remember how many Bills 1st-rounders didn't work out? Terry Miller, Booker Moore, Perry Tuttle, Ronnie Harmon, James Williams, Mike Williams, and Tony Hunter, anyone? Also, how many of you were naysayers in 1987 when we gave up two firsts and a second for Bennett? Our first pick in 1988, in the 2nd round? Some Thurman Thomas guy you may have heard of?
  2. No, wins and losses indicate how good a team is as a whole. An offense is as good as the number of points it scores; a defense is as good as the number of points it allows.
  3. How about we just rank them in the number of points scored and the number of points allowed? In the end, they are the only stats that count.
  4. A lot of people have called Obama the enemy, or worse, because of his politics. Hank may have gone a little overboard, but the least ESPN could have done was warned him first. Oh, well, what's done is done. With respect to Kluwe, I respect his right to be an advocate for whatever cause he wants to support; however, I also respect the ST coach's right to be a bigot. Neither is illegal. However, if Kluwe alleges his release was due to his activism, he has no hard proof. Also, he has no hard proof that the coach said what he alleges. The only place this could play out is in the court of public opinion.
  5. Wouldn't that constitute sexual harassment, which is illegal? And I, for one, do not believe Hank compared Obama to Hitler. Rather, his remark was that two polar opposites, Obama and Boehner, golfing together is comparable to two other polar opposites, Hitler and a Jew, golfing together. Sorry, I don't buy into the media hysteria that forbids anything negative being said about issues that determine political correctness.
  6. I'm also awaiting the "Chandler sucks" posts.
  7. Hank Williams Jr got fired for his remarks, so is this really a surprise?
  8. According to Chris Brown, Marrone is encourage about our TEs. "I feel we've gotten good production," Marrone said. "I think that Scott Chandler had a fine year. He really did. I think that we have players in place here, on this roster, which can be very productive. The tight ends under contract are Chris Gragg, Tony Moeaki and Lee Smith. Mike Caussin, who was on I-R is a restricted free agent and Chandler is scheduled to be unrestricted. Does this mean we're going to try and resign Chandler? http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2014/01/02/marrone-encouraged-about-te-position/
  9. We do need one. Our third-stringer has not shown much and both Spiller and Jackson are entering contract years.
  10. I did. It's only reinforces why I'm not a fan of his and don't want him on our roster. Mark Vader, I think a RB in the 3rd is a good idea. Develop a young RB during Fred's contract year in case we part ways with him afterward.
  11. I was a technical sergeant in the Air Force, stationed at Malmstrom AFB, Montana, with a 4-year-old son. Now he's 18, 6-4, 250 lbs, and a senior in high school.
  12. I like the draft, but the fact that you did not for for Mike Evans in Rd 1 would cause many on this board to deem you a heretic. I agree we need a big back-but want about Andre Williams from Boston College or Jeremy Hill from LSU?
