  1. If we switch, how do the 1st 3 picks fit in? Can Lawson play a 4-3 de,can Ragland play ilb, and where does Washington fit in? Seems like a wasted draft if we switch and they don't work out. Having said this, we are still closer to being a good 4-3 defense than a 3-4. If this is discussed elsewhere, sorry. I tried researching, but difficult on a phone
  2. It's easy to ask that question after the season. If we're on the playoffs hunt on game 17, TT starts. But...Smart move to sit him and not take a chance of injury. Depending on the injury, wouldn't we be on the hook for the whole contract? Sorry if I'm wrong. If correct, this was the smart move. Pegs can still feel for the coach not making the decision, but Lynn wouldn't be responsible for the cash, pegs would be. Again, smart decision and nothing wrong with how they felt.
  3. What's there to believe? It was a prediction. Maybe a lot of Bills fans don't give a rat's ass about outside opinions. That doesn't make us dysfunctional.
  4. Not a bad plan. With a real coach. Oh Rexy, we coulda been a contender!
  5. No. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/eagles-gm-howie-roseman-throws-some-major-shade-chip-kelly%E2%80%99s-way/ar-BBxWXoT?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=mailsignout
  6. Actually, I tried it and got 3 options and your was one of them.

  9. Actually, Kelly was let go cuz he sucks. Plain and simple. He's a college coach that was in over his head. Way over. Dumbest thing I've read in a while. So it was an undeciplined team fought back to get to the SB 3 more times, even when Kelly went down with a knee injury one of those years? I get the first one, maybe. Bickering Bills and all, but come on. Stop it!
  10. I don't see 7-9 without TT. Having said that, he is frustrating to watch. I'm in the keep TT camp, on a restructured deal.
  11. I can imagine how many times a game Kelly yells " throw the damn ball already Tyrod!!!!".
  12. Nah, Whaley ain't fraid of nobody. Sorry HellowNewman and Augie.
  13. Gramur polees att iiit agan. I don't sea nuttin wrung wit da post
  14. He's taken them to the playoffs in the last 17 yrs, no!? Plus I would take luck over TT anyday. Lose for luck has worked better than anything we've tried the last, oh 17 yrs.
  15. Bitter old man who got mad when "no" was said to having his son succeed him. That is all.His comments on the starting of EJ instead of tt tells you he's clueless on why it was done. Our oline is much better than he gave them credit for. Anyone can criticize a team that hasn't been to the playoffs in so long. I hope he doesn't come aboard. Folks sound so much smarter when you have nothing on the line for the thoughts. If his ideas don't work, he's not hurting a team, so it's dismissed or forgotten. Go home Bill. Take your wife somewhere and enjoy your old age.
  16. In my 1st post, I explain my thinking behind the move, so there is some logic to it. You may not agree, but there is some logic behind doing it. Please don't dismiss my thoughts as nothing. You're right, bpa is subjective (I said as much in my post) and a matter of opinion. I think you're missing the part about this being what I would do. Not the Bills or you. If someone grades out as the next Barry Sanders and he falls to you at #10, you take him. Or you're fired. Jmo. The draft is for more than the next 2 yrs. Most any player drafted won't be a starter week 1 and in a lot of cases, year 1. A safety, cb, wr,ot,etc will have a learning curve also. I stick with my stance, Cook at 10, if he's there. 1 Yr under McCoy, drop McCoy and his contract after next season. Even worse than Cook as a #10 pick is what we're paying McCoy. A vet safety to help, he would probably do better than a rookie in his 1st yr. Just about anyone taken would have a learning curve and where's the value in that? We reached for Lawson and it sounds like you all want to reach on a player because he's a need. I'll say it again BPA. And if it shakes out the way I think, Dalvin is the pick (imo), unless Watson falls to us. Williams was a 5th round pick for a reason and MG is a backup for a reason.
  17. I stopped at "They are in the playoffs ". That's something we should aspire to achieve. Weak division? Who cares? They're in. I've heard talks of Houston letting the HC go. I'll take him. He won't use injuries as an excuse, though he lost the best defensive player in the league and his qb is worse than ours. Right Rex?!
  18. I would imagine Parker isn't paramount in the op's life and he was unaware he died. I knew he died, but continued reading. Parker isn't a world famous person, oops, wasn't. Op can be forgiven for not knowing Parker croked.
  19. Football isn't life, Life isn't football. Dopey
  20. Let's start with saying Imo Cook is the best rb in the drat. So your statement about not being the best rb in the draft doesn't fit my narrative. Secondly, to answer your simple question with a simple answer, yes. As mentioned in my post, it's bpa and if he drops to us at 10, Imo take him. Coach, please remember this is all subjective. No one is absolutely right, even you, coach. Edit: if D. Watson is there, I take him. Otherwise, Cook, if he's there.
  21. Going with BPA, if somehow Dalvin Cook falls to 10, we should take him. Haven't looked at the contract specifics but McCoy can play next year for us and be released after the season. Re-sign Gilleslie and we have Johnathan Williams. Dalvin will be a heck of a RB for the next 6-8 yrs and he'll be on a rookie contract for the 1st few years, so we can afford to have him behind McCoy for a year. McCoy makes too much money for my liking. I know we need a safety and WR, but to me if Dalvin falls to us at 10, he is the BPA at the time. DB and WR in rounds 2-3, although to me we have the talent to go with BPA in every round. There isn't an area where we don't need at least one player. If a OT falls to us in the 2nd, take him and plug him in at RT. A guard/center falls to us at 3rd, take him, Cogs. isn't a spring chicken. DT falls to us in Round 2, take him( KW is older) , etc. Take BPA and don't reach! Anyone remember Erik Flowers, or John McCargo and the Whitner reaches? Again, I think we have enough talent to go BPA and not reach.
  22. Like the slump breaker ugly chicken baseball players talk about.
