  1. To me, that term is subjective and I don't see him as a star. Decent to good, ok, but a star!?!? No way! JMO.
  2. I was referring to "attacking his proven star players". Of course Gilmore has to produce, but coach isn't concerned about this tussle. Gilmore is on everyone's radar because of his contract. And since when is Edelman a star?! "I think the point is... Gilmore won't win any points with Belicheat, by attacking his proven star players.... After this tussle, Gilly better perform, or it's curtains..."
  3. Coach doesn't give a crap about anyone not named Brady, even Gronk. Gilmore is fine, especially with that kind of contract. Maybe it's unfinished business from when they were adversaries.
  4. BOOOOO!!! He's gone. No more stories with Rex or Rob in them. They stole Peg's $ and set us back at least a couple of years. F them!!!
  5. Didn't do much research, but this article claims in the KC game alone, Marcell dropped into coverage 2x. Each one resulted in a TD pass. "On both of Alex Smith's touchdown passes during the Bills' 30-22 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, it appeared star defensive tackle Marcell Dareus was dropping back into coverage." By Matthew Fairburn | mfairburn@newyorkupstate.com http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/12/bills_rex_ryan_explains_marcell_dareus_dropping_into_coverage_on_chiefs_td_passe.html Again, I didn't do much research but I'm gonna guess he dropped into coverage more than 2x. I'm not saying he dropped into coverage "quite a bit", but if you are correct, he dropped both times in the same game. Seems strange to me.
  6. The whole d looked lost the last 2 years. PB will have a comeback season, as will the rest of the d. Now, if Ragland beats him for the starting spot, that's fine. We now have a decent backup.
  7. Our back 7 really needs the d-line healthy. If the D line stays healthy, it would go a long way to making this D top 10-12. Before rex came aboard our d-line dominated the los. We handled the run and put a ton of pressure without going crazy with blitzes. IF, and that's a big IF they stay healthy, I see the pressure and sacks increasing, which leads to hurried passes that get picked off. Can Shaq provide the edge setting that Mario provided, can Kyle make it through the season, will Dareus finally show he's a top talent, and will Hughes keep up the pace? As for depth, this d-line could use 1 or 2 vets that I see coming after cuts from other teams. Our db's will greatly benefit from knowing where they should be lined up, as opposed to the confusion created by those clowns dressed up as coaches. As stated by others, I am counting on BETTER coaching, scheme, and discipline to carry the defense to a top 10-12 defense. Not bad for the 1st year of the new regime.
  8. Not trying to "mislead" anyone, those were the numbers we got for his 3 yrs. Just going by what we got from him in his time here. Sorry you saw it that way. Don'tknow that he's gonna put up numbers that make him worth franchising.
  9. Sure, I see the rub here, but I've seen Tyrod either not see a wide open Sammy and or miss him wildly with his throws, so that's a BIG IF... Tryod CAN throw a really good deep ball, it's the other throws that concern me. What is a big year to you? or Big enough to franchise? 60-65 catches; roughly 1k yds; roughly 5 td's? He could do soooo much better with a more accurate QB on another team who can spot a wide open wr. especially our #1 wr(even if it's down the middle of the field). Do we franchise the player below if he puts up those types of numbers? That's a tough sell to me. 3 year Avg: 51 rec per season 819 yds per season 5.6 td's per year. We'll see if this offense will provide him the opportunity to show his worth compared to the run, run, run offense Rex liked. And can Tyrod get the ball to him. At the current rate, no way do we franchise him. McDermott has no ties to him. JMO.
  10. Does signing Rashad Ross change anything here?
  11. Oh boy, it's not gonna end well for one or both of these clowns.
  12. Damn, you made me spit my coffee out this morning. Good one.
  13. I'm sure he Watkins would prefer not to be traded. He would prefer to let the Bills not pick up the option and become a free agent. At this point he and his agent can go to a team that: A) has a real QB B) has the passing game as a legitimate part of their game plan C) is 1 or 2 players away from serious SB aspirations, with him being 1 of the 2 players. Maybe a WR and CB away from being "complete", or as "complete" as a team can be in this day and age of mediocrity Unless, of course we find a trade partner that has 2 of the 3 situations happening. Hopefully he is healthy and given every opportunity to excel. If so, I see a big year for him.
  14. I wasn't "all in" when Rex was hired(I know a ton of Jets fans who warned me), but with all the changes from the bottom up, I feel there is hope. The Pegulas learned a hard lesson with their first hire. Plus, without hope what else do you have?
  15. Probably better than someone who types an incomplete sentence for a post to get clicks?!?!Hey guys, what if...
  16. I know it's your opinion, but EJ was not drafted purely for his physical attributes. The kid knows the game. Just watch him when Gruden had him on his QB show (don't know the name ). He knew situations and where to go with the ball. He just couldn't get it there. He wasn't any good at throwing a wr open. Very inaccurate in that regard, but mentally he knows the game.same in college. He frustrated the hell out of me watching his college years here at FSU.
  17. Pats vs. Seattle Pats vs. Boys I think Brady would dissect Dallas without a problem. I see the Hawks' defense as having a better chance to affect Brady than the Boys. Would love to see that.
  18. Agreed. If this works out like I think it will, we will have one of the better top-lines in the nfl. Not the best, but a damn good one. We might need to start thinking about a nickname for this group. "The Buffalo Rush, Buffalo Bulldozers, etc.". 1st attempt, I'm sure we can come up with better names.
  19. Not much to discuss. I think you are spot on. We didn't give up picks to move up for Dawkins without thoughts of him starting. I will say, if Miller improves like most do in year 3 and Dawkins can unseat Mills(he'll be given every chance), we have the potential to be one of the better O-lines in the NFL. Not quite like the Cowboys, but definitely a major strength.
  20. http://buffalonews.com/2017/05/17/buffalo-bills-earn-b-grade-offseason-espn/ At least it's not Rex saying we won the off-season.
  21. He is apparently in a real bad financial situation too.Not surprising. Time to get a real job, dumbasss. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-gordon-in-%E2%80%98desperate-financial-situation-hopes-for-reinstatement/ar-BBBbaqB?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=mailsignout
