Joe B. "way too early" 53-man roster
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
O'Leary is not worthy of even a camp spot. If he wasn't a draft pick he would have been released already. Just say no to Duke Williams. He was terrible last year. I can't see Easely being healthy for camp and even less likely he makes the team. Maybe PUP list. I agree Felton's roster spot is useless. I would keep an additional DT and DE/OLB, with the spots opened up by getting rid of O'Leary and D. Williams. Then swap out Easely for Goodwin. Lastly keep Annen instead of Felton. -
Goodwin fails to make Olypmic team

Chokes in the finals? He made the Olympic team four years ago winning the trials. -
How the Ravens went from SB winner to afterthought
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You must not be a fan of the Ragland pick either. I hope we are wrong and Ragland has enough speed to play. -
I feel bad for the guy. He has the longest jump in the world this year. He may have been competing with a bad hamstring. If the Olympics were like the Masters, he would have qualified by winning a track meet earlier in the year.

How the Ravens went from SB winner to afterthought
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Flacco, Eli, Palmer, and Rivers are all better than anything the Bills have had or have now. I'm not sold on Dalton nor Matt Ryan. You can argue all you want they overpaid for Flacco. But who would they have gotten to replace him. We all hope TT continues to improve so the Bills are forced to pay him. That means the team is winning and going to the playoffs. The Bills have been in salary cap jail without even an average QB. You tell me whether you would rather have Newsome or Whaley? -
Topic of the day 6/30: One hit wonder - trifecta
Dragonborn10 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Drew Bledsoe, Travis Henry and Peerless Price in 2002. For 8 or 9 games that offense was unstoppable. -
Thurman Thomas was my favorite then and still is. I loved watching him set up blocks and he was such a great runner after the catch. The team needed Kelly and his ability to mix the short and deep pass. It kept the opposing defense on thier heels. But it was Thurman who made the offense work. Incredible pass blocker too. Just a complete RB even if he was never the biggest or the strongest. He and Barry Sanders may have had greatest vision and ability to read blocks in the game. Emmitt Smith was a more ferocious and downhill runner and played behind the best guard in NFL history, Larry Allen. Bills O-lines were great too but I think a notch below Dallas. Thurman's signed jersey and a piece of the old turf is the only Bills memorabilia I own.

Watching the Bills on the road is better than at RWS - only exception being Oakland's horrible stadium. I'm 45 and have two kids. I don't want to sit next to a 22 year old whos has been drunk since noon. Full disclosure, I didn't want to sit next to that guy when I was 22 either. Build a new stadium with 64,000 seats and double the ticket prices. Do anything you can to make the game-day experience at the new stadium better. The new stadium needs better and more food options and better beverages. If you build it they will come.

Very little difference between LT and RT. I would bring him in. The RT situation is at best not good and there is no good back-up options for LT. Sign Gilmore then use the cap savings to bring Long in. Seattle will sign him to veteran minimum deal. Give him one year guaranteed $750K.

McKelvin tagged as Eagles top Corner
Dragonborn10 replied to buffalonian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McKelvin should play safety. He can't track the ball while running downfield. He can run with anyone in the league. He would be great with his shoulders parallel to the LOS and running at the ball instead of with the WR. Another 8 game wonder. He was a below average LB most of his time in Buffalo. -
O'Leary is Lee Smith with much better hands and zero blocking skills. Waste of a draft pick. He will be in the first round of cuts.

Gilmore hints at training camp holdout
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are wrong in every possible way. First, their salaries are slotted as rookies so they aren't getting paid what the true market would pay them. Second, the teams have no obligation to honor the contract. They cut injured, aging, or simply over-priced players all the time often times with years and millions of dollars left in the contract. Please explain how this is fair? Can't wait to read it. -
Gilmore hints at training camp holdout
Dragonborn10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wish he would hold out to force Whaley to sign him. Gilmore needs to be signed before the season. Then all the FO has to do is wait and see what happens with TT. If he is a star he gets tagged. If he is average then he has no leverage for a new contract. -
Topic of the day for Saturday 6/11--breakout year?
Dragonborn10 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
John Miller will not be top 100, but if he has a breakout year it will be huge for Whaley and co. -
No matter what this season will be a success.

Gary Kubiak and John Elway agree! It never works to change coaches. -

Yes, the Bills have never let premier players walk.... signed Pat Williams and Antoine Winfield -
How would you feel if OJ's daughter was linked to a Bills player? Would it be the feel good family story of 2016? Or more of a vomit in your mouth moment?

Your thoughts on Hughes as a 3-4 olb vs 4-3 de
Dragonborn10 replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He will be an 3-4 OLB less than 40% of the snaps. Every team plays four DL in nicel and dime formations. However I really like Dareus as a 3-4 DE with Hughes at OLB. Dareus can take out two lineman or get to the QB with a quick inside move leaving Hughes, a safety, or a DB to blitz into the space vacated by Dareus. If the OT leaves Dareus one on one with the OG waiting for a blitz that may not even come, Dareus will blow the play up. Hughes played better against the run that I thought he would as a DE last year. I was wrong. Kudos to him for stepping up to the challenge. All this still leaves the question, who plays NT? There is not a qualified player on this team to play 3-4 NT.
