  1. Thats my pick too. But I think its time to move on from Jordan with a sincere thank you !
  2. Not my choice , but have already moved on from Rachel and her husband Was a good ride though for both sides 🙂
  3. Upgrade from Saffold who can start. Young enough to have upside. Its hardly a bad move. But it's also not a definitive move at Guard . Lets see what Kromer can do with him/ Maybe he turns out to be Morse' replacement in a year or two ? We are going to need that solved as well Go Bills
  4. The blend is key. Vets can often be the mentors. Thats part of why it is critical to grab the ones with skills and mindset to teach and lead Hyde is the brains of this defense, even if it gets tweaked. We saw what happened last season when we lost him. I would never trade him . But we do need his protégé asap . and soon Poyer's next up.
  5. We need upgrades and future state at nearly every position on the O line never hurts to Also improve the back ups.
  6. Mc Ouch I dont care if we have a small penetrator up in the middle Quick hand work and an early get off have not gotten the job done it seems. Skills to be sure. I would be fine with another D Jones next to the real one ! On at least two downs. Let the new MLB clean it up
  7. Settle played well when not dinged. so i am not down on him. Jones was a beast for us. So overpaid ?? Ed and Jones are different techs and types (size too lol) so apples to oranges I think there LA But i surely agree this season is Beanes Boys and their biggest test yet ! Resolving the ones who leave. or not retained. And how the big holes are filled (Edmunds and Poyer ) Then fixing the weaknesses that O line showed because of Beanes. Q and Saffold were looking like bad effort at this point for sure
  8. I need two emoji things for this OP and the thread created ! Awesome and Thank You 😉
  9. if you can improve the depth ? and the money /contract works. You kinda have to. More to the equation of course Whatever it takes ! You can find some younger in FA i bet. That guy from the Titans Sal M. mentioned ? But it has to be fixed. And I too prefer getting starters or high ceiling guys in the draft. As long as Kromer can coach them up and they have the feet and hands and smarts(enough)
  10. and why the defense will be tweaked finally. agreed 10
  11. I have no hate or dislike for Ed. Loves the game and has played hard for quite a few years. But if he is gone. We will find another
  12. This Man was one of the Coaches who allowed me to respect NFL football and its machinations. Just a classic. And one hell of a good guy RIP Bud 🙂
  13. We are not going to be able to pay odell. and i dont like him and he has come off two similar injuries that are the worst type for WRs. I would almost prefer Theilen (sp) and draft a speed merchant al John Brown later in draft to develop and i dont like him lol agreed. i would have wanted him off the field after his bobbles and drops and alligator armed efforts
  14. Sal mentioned Taylor Rapp. I liked that thinking very well. I also liked his LB choice from the Eagles. No older player please. stop gaps are not for me. Same with O line. lets get one we can keep for next 4 years because he is solid in pass pro and run game.
  15. One beast starter at RG. at least. Maybe another guard who can graduate to C next year or two behind Morse But where do they find these ? this is the issue ! I am not against Def at 27 as long as the Fix/not patch, the RG and LG position. Bates might be part of the answer?? Gonna have to replace Tremaine it sure seems. Need a safety as who can play next to Hyde right away.
  16. Are they available ? And can we afford either of them ? LOL
  17. But this is where Coaches define themselves ala Andy Reid. Adjusting to player changes, Because it happens every year to every team, and you cant fight it
  18. Thats the reality of it. Even if Bills wanted to keep him. he will get paid handsomely because of all you listed. and Bills just really cant afford to pay any MLB that well.
  19. Dont be so fearful of change. Its a critical part of growing. Coaching will adjust. Thats what we pay them for lol Change is a constant in the NFL. and often times in Life Embrace it and the challenge it brings
  20. By design they are complimentary. That's signature McDermott ! I think we might improve on filling those gaps and lanes post Edmunds. Circumstance will force some tweaks. Sean alluded to as much and i will continue to voice my opinions from my very cheap seat. LOL Thanks for note Thurman Good business strategy on his part ?
  21. Can Bills and Dorsey make full use of his talent with this O line ? You know already my vote is no, they cant. Not yet anyways. Hines and Cook will give the Offense a running/passing game from the backfield. They might need a bruiser from FA of the draft late pick. I am fine with keeping Devin and investing in the RG position with a starter and hoping like hell Bates can man the LG next to Dion ! Or Two Guards and a Right tackle to push Brown . Too much to ask lol ?
  22. Safety may hardly be a wasted pick in this case, as that might be the best value we can get and a player of need meeting. Does not change what Bills need to get on Offense this offseason. Looking at this years need , I am starting to feel Beane indulged a bit last few year on that D line and now it might actually visibly hurt Us.
  23. I have always thought McD allows his Coaches to do what they think is best. And very much to a fault. Part of the Growth process. He is painfully loyal, and uncomfortable with forcing his hand when things are trending poorly. and there is the other option , as so many have mentioned when things go awry lol But I still have faith in McBeanes
