  1. I might hope so. but he should be head and shoulders above the other two.. ( see what i did there ) Allen is 6 5 right ?? lol
  2. Something had to change that was for sure. excellent point. seriously I am going on record here. if the Bills are playing reasonably well at QB and AJM or Peterman are making decent decisions ? I do not see the need to switch up for the sake of seeing what Allen has. he was drafted as the Franchise QB and they sure better have faith he will be just that. Not the same circumstance. unless you are predicting poor QB play already
  3. I considered this for a long time as soon as peterman was announced. Trying to sort the reasoning. For as bad as Tyrod was playing there was not anything that said to me start Nathan. Being a close observer at the Time of what Dennison was asking of Tyrod was very frustrating so my conclusion was Dennison wanted a pocket passer to run his offense after trying to force Taylor into a box he could not fit into. How McD handled the tragedy was quite respectable, but there certainly was damage done. The Team and players i might became confused as the the goals. Perhaps that is whey we saw a bit of half hearted play from the O line ? thats brutal for the HC to deal with. I now respect Coach for how he recovered the team. Then moved on post season from Dennison. And i think that as the point here. Young Head Coach learning from his decisions, both right and wrong and ambiguous all. Good perspective Hap Go Bills I do not know if feel the same about the season. Sure Tyrod felt the writing was now on the wall about his future. And perhaps Dennison as wel ?This dynamic is fairly weighty. and sure the Team was questioning what the future would bring. Luckily, and i mean luckily the team rallied and recovered. Not sure how that happened honestly. But i feel strongly the dynamics shifted at One Bills Drive that weekend
  4. you are correct with one of your declarations : 0 never should have let Ragland go......... Lorax should be relegated to Pass rush and conserve his body. Milano is still a work in progress whom they seem to have high hopes for. I feel what you are suggesting. I would like to see the Bills have a thumper still on run downs. Edmunds rookie year ? if they ask him to play every down he will be more likely for injury towards the end of season from wear and tear. Not a bad thought honestly. 7 mil for Bowman. i don't think Bills will spend it. Ralph is still cheap
  5. is that why they speak French ?? we used to travel to Canada just for the beer as youths. Brador or any one of the molson products was a great road trip. they no longer let folks like me in. and the Brewers Retail got a bit expensive anyways. I like Canada pretty good though. wish i moved there years ago.\ before they were on to my shenanigans
  6. Thoughtful response ! I suppose Baltimore will be the team to watch. If is going to happen it would happen there. Packages. Bills did a little of that with EJM actually. and it was not as horrid as some are feeling. Not everyone gets a Franchise QB. simple as getting a leftie and a right handed QB might be enough.. : )
  7. sad story indeed. Condolences to his cherished Family
  8. will they get Aaron Donald deall sorted? That defense is going to be something to fear. Why come they miss the Big One ?
  9. yep. If we are going bold predictions . this is it for me as well. and guess who i picked to surprise ? : ) bold , not bizarre you fool , lol
  10. Vast tracts of land. I take it you have driven through it ? : ) I liked that version. Great song and hey, the Guy was playing a beat up ole Fender Stratocaster much like Eric ! now back to your regularly scheduled program...
  11. his selection of Coach in his first year was likely limited. I expected the retread Frazier to fail. This season Bills had a fair turnover at Coaching. and yes the announcing of Peterman was odd. But i thought it was an exercise to see what he had. Of course he trusted his OC. certainly more than us fans would. But that's part of being a team
  12. I disagree. He must know offense to play effective defense. what he did was show loyalty. to a fault. and learned from it.
  13. No, but I am Old enough to recall when the song came out. Thanks for the smile Okie !!! and i have never been to Oklahoma : )
  14. Howdy MJS

caught your note one the most boring NFL cities.
Honestly I stopped travelling for work about ten years ago. Decided to settle down a bit : )

Most all my Family is nearby, including grandkids.

Just wanted to join in the thread. Hope no one took offense to my "homerism "

     Cheers !

     Eric

  15. Travel and night life are not one and the same. I have been across the country and lived many places. Guess i was not searching for " fun " lol Nice to read about folks experiences for us shut ins lol
  16. Part of my point, thanks. But as mentioned ,good for everyone he got another opportunity in KC Good post. I agree with highlighted bit as I am sure Aussie Joe does too. Thank you !
  17. no argument there. i am not really a what if type anyways. we are what we are I am what i ams and that's all that i ams Says Popeye the Sailor Man toot toot ! I did not know that. Perhaps that was the main reason why he was let go. Availability is a mantra these days at OBD.
  18. he never played a down? he was injured
  19. it may be true. but it may have been that McD defensive tactics were not sound we talked about moving Brown to strong side. but you are correct, just conjecture and hindsight at this point : ) my apologies
  20. Edmunds is a generational pick if all goes as planned. Unique physique. and all the tangibles to develop . i would not compare the two. I wonder how they might look together this year in a the 3-4 style. Even Brown was traded for capital. he certainly was working hard. if he had a better line ?? edit I was surprised as well. along with other surprises. such as Robert Woods
  21. I tend to think it was more than that Doc. But certainly Ragland was not the answer . Brown was always serviceable IMO. Humber ?
  22. is that actually the point. we have little to go on , with the T. Edmunds as a pro as we had little to derive from Ragland's preseason, which there was none. or nearly none. lol I had assumed his trade was based upon keen insight into his injury and Bills were lucky to trade him, at the time. now it appears it was purely scheme fit. I have to question that if McD is to become a Coach who reaps the wheat from the chaff
  23. the thing that irked me? he was nearly free money. Even if he only played two downs. McD did not play the business side as well as i might have hoped. he is too much a straight shooter with blinders on. Build up Raglands value for one year or so as two down LB and see how it plays out. run a darned hybrid 3-4 ! did anyone notice Bills could NOT stop the run game at times last year ? he is a thumper + how much plus ? Bills never looked into. seemingly
  24. fun topic Okie thanks I will stick with my Town for boring. I like boring at my age and condition LOL but they have white castle and a wave park ?
  25. actually I might have picked New Orleans as the BEST . but that again was many moons ago. What a night life !! wow ! Boston is super historical , so us american history buffs love that crap. But New orleans offer some great history and architecture too. Memphis has no football teams but is pretty sweet and Nashville is a never ending party. hard to do Kirby. but your point is well taken. Ohio is boring as hell. Cleveland does not rock and Cinci is just a grade above. right next to Indiana so i get the OP's feeling. Pennsaltucky is not far behind excepting Philly and Pittsburgh. the rest is just a quiet working persons dreamland
