Don't agree on this point. He was and inconsistent route runner. Never a timing WR was he. Not as bad as Stevie bad along those same lines. He made plays after the ball was in the air. damned good one too. This offense and young QBs likely need consistent play and depenadable route running more than a playmaker to develop their craft. I could be wrong with the last sentence because a playmaker could make a QB look better than he is. to me that is not honest development. that was chucking the ball and trusting your pass Catcher. Just like Tyrod was doing after Watkins " get me the ball " moment. He did and he did as well.

Wish both those guys well !

KB fills a niche need very very well. and i consider him an asset. Just do not ask too much of him. last year he was put in a very tough spot indeed. Hope that has all been made good for this coming season. Beane identified him as a great red zone threat. again i go back to Bills wanting to have Receivers who can , as a group check all the boxes. Back to Sammy Watkins. Maybe immature but hell of a natural talent. Was always my opinion his ankle injuries were sorely mismanaged for whatever reason . I have some conspiracy theories about Marrone as well and his bizarre relations with Whaley and Brandon and EJ Manuel. But after leaving he has not shown what he honestly was capable of early in his career. Can he ever return to Clemson form? and man he made some Amazing catches for Bills. wish it had gone differently. But that ship has sailed for Watkins and Buffalo i expect. a darned shame it was

I did notice and perhaps others did too ? He drew double coverages even when gimpy. He was used as a decent decoy when injured til that well ran dry. he was a viable threat for a couple years. But no i don't feel he accomplished nearly enough. Being available ( fully ) hurt him in more ways than one

Streater is healthy so far I read an article today with Beane quotes about wide receivers. on bleacher report I think. He seems to be about creating mismatches by bringing multiple skills sets who also can play xyz etc to some degree. I gathered he likes to WR by Committee for now at least.. just get open and move the chains. that does work. maybe less exciting

Pegulas need to hang on for at least two more years on McBeanes. Everyone should know how young these guys are. Last year was a learning season for McDermott for sure. I have to excuse all of his mistakes, and he made a few : ) I expect he expects and we all expect improvement across the board from Coaching and FO. To have turned what Rex had utterly annihilated in 2 years is rather something. and to make the play offs while foundation building ? Its rather f'n mazing and joyful. The trend seems to be heading it the right direction to me. GO BILLS. and i do not expect playoffs or Allen to become Our Saviour too soon. But I have been pleasantly surprised by these Folks once or twice already. With Talent you can get a better return on risk. Bills are were still reteaching players fundamentals of football. No where near the confidence level that Eagles were able to appreciate. They were primed to go all the way last year. apples oranges in Coaching context. I do agree Philly killed it with aggressive play. it was an awesome game btw !

I have no jerseys. not one. Thought and think about it two i would be proud to wear are 22 and 95. My football heros. But i have bad luck and i bought one something bad might happen. I could not live with the guilt to all Bills Fans. Kinda wish for a T. White jersey. He is my next generation Bills Hero. But i wont get one. because, like i said.I am bad luck. I do wear Bills gear. some of it even Official ! Drought is over . wear whatever number you like and be proud. except Ortons. Definitely not Kyles number.

Pegulas have made a fine decision with McBeanes. I expect them to stick with it regardless of Allen. That being said , Allen was worth the shot they took. And really prepared to draft him. And scoring Edmunds , if he becomes what we hope he does ? he will become one of the best pickups across the league for many years to come. At a need position and arguably one of McDermotts " keys to the game" player. This is as important to watch as is Allen over next 3 years ! Go Bills
