  1. Yeah, we're the Colts, and Fitz is Manning. Ugh. This team looks bad tonight.
  2. Yey. Another touchback. This new rule sucks buffalo d**k.
  3. Ack. They look bad. They're making Quinn look like Brady.
  4. Thanks for the update. Hope White is just shaken up. Not a good sign...
  5. Just got in. Looks like I missed some pretty horrible line play. Tuned in right as White was injured. Yey Bills.
  6. DJ and Member's Only go together like Bill Billicheat and homeless chic.
  7. I'm sure it's a gadget play, but I guess two TEs on the line, two behind the QB with a FB in front of them. I'm not saying we need to parrot everything winning teams are doing right now. Gailey is doing the best with what he has. But I just hope the Bills aren't wearing acid-wash jeans and mullets to the party that everyone except this guy gave up. Guess I haven't figured out how to post pics. That was Michael Bolton in case you were curious.
  8. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/video/nfl/2011/08/18/081611.perloff_wildcat.SportsIllustrated/?sct=nfl_bf4_a9 I like the potential of Smith in the Wildcat, but now the craze is multiple TE formations, with the Pats using two and the Texans with...four! I have hopes for Chandler, but it appears as of now we don't even have one decent TE. I know, I know, Gailey doesn't really use TEs. Just thought I'd post this SI video.
  9. Would like to see how extended play on offense looks like without Lee Evans or on defense without Merriman. I'm concerned the opposing defense will not respect our deep threat without Evans and that our own defense will be a one-trick pony without Merriman. Also curious to see how Tim Jesus Fire Tebow plays. Gotta admit I'm a little excited to see any success with the Wildcat, too. Not excited at all about the potential of our weak O line imploding.
  10. They mistook Who'sYourMomma with Barnett. Seriously guys, nothing wrong with being aggressive about rumors and such, but due some due diligence at least. That is do some due diligence.
  11. Everyone don't count yer chickens before they hatch. I'll only believe Who'sYoMamma is a Bill when Pat Moran reports it. But he'll have to have at least TWO unidentified sources and offer his wife as road bait.
  12. I think we can call this story dead. Frankly, Merriman's story is a bit weird, but there will be no way of confirming anything. He wasn't arrested or charged with anything. Further, Moran needs some Journalism 101. One vague tweet to Merriman, and he calls that trying to reach him or the Bills for comment?
  13. This is a blog site, not a reputable news organization. The problem is with people pretending to be journalists.
  14. Is it Peter Pan man? Who's up for running over some kids?
  15. Weird, huh? I'm kinda obsessed with this story. Curious to see what Moran's next move is.
  16. Well, strike the Vick thing...he spent nearly two years in the hoosegow. You get my point, though.
  17. A few things on this story. As a former journalist, I believe Moran that a source said what he said he said. But Moran should have asked the Bills or Merriman for comment. If they refused, or said no comment, that should have been in the story. Poor journalism, even for a blog site. He was sitting on this story for two weeks, and that silly blurb was all he had? There's a reason the mainstream media didn't run with anything. There is nothing there, yet at least. Merriman can't and shouldn't sue for libel, as many people are calling for. From a PR perspective, it would draw more attention than it deserves. From a legal one, it wouldn't last one minute. Merriman is a public figure and the barriers for libel are high--malicious intent for one. This Moran guy simply got overzealous, overestimated the value of the intel he had, and did sloppy reporting. He's obviously a blogger, not a journalist...no disrespect to bloggers, but they have lower standards. Unless there's more to this story than is being reported, I feel sorry for this guy. Don't worry, though, Merriman's reputation will be fine...assuming the story doesn't have legs. Roethlisberger f-d a nearly passed out college girl in a public bathroom, Vick tortured dogs, and those guys are doing fine.
  18. Would get more attention that it deserves. So far, it's barely national. Further, for a public figure to sue for libel, he'd have to prove malicious intent. Thankfully, this story will likely be swept under the rug in a couple days.
