  1. Let’s use your approach then. Imagine :03 left on the clock, fourth quarter, down by two points. You could win the game with a 62 yard field goal. You know Haushka doesn’t have the leg. I guess you’re gonna send out the 310 lb backup olineman to have a go at it? Or maybe CB #8 on your depth chart? Again (and I don’t mean to lecture you youngsters), toss aside three cans of tomato soup (you have plenty) to make room for the truly special foods you need to win the battle against hunger. Field position and points can’t be won with numerous CB/Oline backups. Australian Football does not allow gloves. Plus, if Edwards can perfect the drop kick, we’ll win enough games that he’ll forget his hands are cold.
  2. Guess you never heard of the “drop kick”. Our goal is to score more points. Edwards can do that. Bojo secures field position. Win win.
  3. George (can I call you George?) - I’ll say it again: Points (FG’s) and field position (deep accurate punts) win football games. Why wouldn’t you maximize the likelihood of both by retaining more of those position players at the expense of two or three cans of tomato soup (7th CB or 8th Olineman). #freeyourmind #fergysproof #fergytheory #calculus
  4. Refer to pantry illustration above. You have plenty of tomato soup in the cupboard...replace a few cans with good stuff!!
  5. Yeah? I notice not too many people are buying jerseys for he 7th CB on the roster or the 8th Olineman. Hypothetical: Your pantry holds a limited supply of food and you have 20 cans of tomato soup (five for "back up"), doesn't it make sense to get rid of 3 or 4 cans to make room for crackers, hot sauce and sardines? You'll never get to use those extra cans of soup...get something in your pantry that makes a difference.
  6. I would challenge you to create a proof that is better than the above. You know why you can't? Because my proof is plausible. Adding/keeping 4 skill kickers by reducing two depth players at a position of strength equals an increase in points (and better field position). My theory holds true and there's not much you can say to detract from the proof itself.
  7. Missed 55 yd field goals = Gift to the opposing offense. Bad punt = Gift to opposing offense. If you excel at skill players on ST (by reducing number of depth players at CB or OL for instance) you increase your chances of winning based on the theorum I wrote below: ST Player1, ST Player2, ST Player3, ST Player4 x .50 (50% increase in convertible field position points) - CB4 x OL4 = 33% Increase in Points
  8. We all can agree, NFL games are won and lost by field position and points. A bad punt can leave your defense with a short field. A missed 55 yd field goal - no points. This team is ready to win, and winning requires good field position and points. Keep Bass as our long field goal kicker...anything over 50 yards, he comes on the field. Keep Hauschka for the 20-40 yd field goals...he's money. Keep Bojorquez for shorter punts when you need the ball placed inside the 15 yd line or when there's a southeasterly wind at the stadium (to crate a cross wind with his left foot). Keep Edwards for longer punts and drop kicks. He's Australian and they utilize the drop kick a lot in that league. Would be a nice wrinkle for the Bills and can score points. Thoughts?
  9. Either is fine...just let Yolo do it each day or week so we don't have 20 different people racing to start a new thread each day. Yolo - You up for taking on the responsibility?
  10. How will I ever know if it grows back? Please keep us advised each morning with a “Regenerated Arm Watch: Day __________” thread.
  11. Does your Mom still make your lunch for you and pre-cut your bologna sandwich in little triangles? Pick yourself up by your bootstraps son!!! Go to page 10 and follow along. Lest we have an influx of “Training Camp Day 3, 4, 5, .....” authors clamoring for the spotlight each morning. You can do it!!!
  12. You kidding me? This is huge. LaBatts > Progressive/Chunky Soup all day, every day.
  13. The fact that other NFL stars get sponsorships/endorsement deals with insurance companies, trucks, or soup companies - and Buffalo players sign a deal with a beer company....*tear in my eye* God I love being a Bills fan.
  14. No. No news at all. Thank you for starting this thread. C’mon man!!!!!
  15. I agree. They have dominated for the last 17 years. The one constant during that span was their O line coach Dante Scarnechia (sp?). He finally retired. Hoping that changes things a wee bit.
  16. Depends if you are already impaired or intoxicated. I heard stories of guys locking the doors, shutting engine off and throwing keys outside... then chugging a pint of whiskey while the cop watches. Can’t say he was “driving while intoxicated”. Dumb.
  17. After school, 7th-9th grade. Magnum PI. #Higgins
  18. You do window/case fabrication? Very cool.
  19. Just went to La Bella last night. Calzone with side of sauce. Split spaghetti and two meatballs with wife. Simple and delicious.
  20. Fromm could have cleared this whole thing up if he said, for example: Unlike the religious community, with notable exceptions, the atheist community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly diverse attitudes about different things,
  21. Glad I held off on the last one. I had the answer but wanted you guys to figure it out. Regards, @Gugny
  22. I know the answer to 22 but will wait to let someone else get it. Best regards, Turbo
