Yes. Agreed. I invited someone with better tech knowledge than me to do it at the outset but no takers. I wrote down the correct pick/position order on a small paper and literally held it up to each of the responses over the 11 pages or so and found the winner. Yes, a spreadsheet would work great. Not sure I can ask for $5 per entry as the line between "gambling" and fun is pretty thin from my experience. We'll figure it out this coming year. (SIDENOTE: It's interesting that a guy who won $40 this past weekend on a "draft contest" now wants to bet money on it again. #greed)

Think about any improvements/recommendations for next year’s draft and we’ll do it again.

I can see your point when the punter/kicker is from the SEC or Big 10. But drafting a punter from a smaller school is suspect given the competition he went up against (BYU, Air Force, Hawaii).

I’ll do my detailed analysis of the results and announce winner tomorrow. Then you can message me your address and I can have the hat you like delivered. Was outside all day today so didn’t have a chance.

It’s supposed to be “correctly pick order” so if a person had “CB, RB, LB….” They would have three in a row. I did the quick scan and didn’t find any like that. So then need to figure out who had “CB, RB….and the next position/pick that matched” In other words, who had the most correct picks at the correct pick order. If multiple, who guessed correct suit/top color?

This pick is questionable. Look at the schools he went up against: Hawaii, Air Force? No Big 12 or SEC competition. Not promising.

It would have to be 25, plus Edmunds, plus a second or third. Giants want to gather draft capital in a rebuild. Maybe Schoen was a big Edmunds fan? The point is, if Beane sees a top tier talent at a position of need (LB) and can pull the trigger, he’ll do it (huge talent at LB and not have to pay big bucks to Edmunds, cap management, etc.)

As of this date, only @HOUSE and I have picked LB as first selection. He’s a smart board member.

Surprised none of youz “NFL Fans” have posted this news. I was driving from Buffalo to home and listened to Sirius XM NFL Radio the whole way. So today, Zig Fracassi said he has sources in Buffalo that indicate the Bills are looking to make a trade with the Giants to move up to the 7 slot. Giants get more picks and Edmunds (?) to build their team, and Bills get an impact player to take them to Super Bowl. What impact player do we pick at 7? Linebacker (I can’t find the audio but that’s what Zig indicated). Looks like I’m winning my own ball cap.

Where’s my statistics majors at?? Anyone able to compile a spreadsheet of responses so far? Interested to know if there’s any duplicates.
