  1. Gragg over ran that route. That play (according to the graphic on the computer with Rich Gannon) was supposed to go up, over 5 yds, and up...Gragg went up, a quick over like 2 yds and then up, so he was wayyyy beyond where the ball was supposed to be for that play. EJ had it placed nicely and it netted us about 30 yds as I recall. Beggers can't be choosers I guess.
  2. Seriously looking to maximize his value on our team or on another?? Yes. Here's a guy that has the prototypical size, arm strength, speed, agility, experience and competitive fire that franchise QB's are made of...if you guys are gonna bail out on him, I suggest you support him and demand that he keep starting so we can 1) definitely make sure he isn't the starting QB we all want (I already know he could and should be that guy), and 2) maximize his trade value for future deals if you get your way. What kind of picks will we get if this was his last game????? Nada. So another few games an some nice playing time and wins will garner plenty of interest. Say we get a 1st round pick for him...then we'll have two 1st rounders that we can use to move wayyy up the board. Have to think ahead sometimes...don't keep looking back.
  3. You do realize that Chip Kelly and countless other head coaches will be waiting in line to get their hands on EJ?? That was a well known fact this past off season. So letting him play more games smooths out his performance history and gives us more ammo to get higher picks in trade. Am I the only one that understands the concept of "supply and demand" around here?
  4. I really find it amusing that the anti-EJ crowd are pointing to the pass to Gragg while Gragg was positioned out of bounds as a reason why EJ should not get another chance. Why the !@#$ was Gragg waiting out of bounds? Isn't that something a TE/WR learns in pee wee football? Of course EJ will throw it to the open receiver. Does he have to check to make sure the TE is in bounds as well? Ridiculous! The other throws were on point (Woods, Easley, Hogan). Some people need to look at the other side of the argument.
  5. If Sammy was playing yesterday the Jags wouldn't have played zone. If they didn't play zone, those INT's don't happen. This loss falls squarely on the shoulders of Sammy.
  6. This. Plus, every QB has a bad game now and then. Yes it was a miserable three minutes. But his resilience, poise, quickness, pocket presence and touch on the ball are signs that the kid still has something. Everyone complains we took him in the first round...well now's the time to showcase his talent and get a 1st and 2nd rounder for him (and no, I'm not smoking crack...he is worth a 1st and possibly a 1st and 2nd given the shortage of QB's.)
  7. Have you agreed to see other people?
  8. I've heard of the Flutie curse and, most recently, the Freddie Curse....but you mean to tell me we now have to deal with a Saint Doug curse?? Seriously...we are screwed.
  9. The one question that proves a season is over: "Who do we need to lose next week?" It's usually reserved for Week 12-15....I say we get to it by Week 10.
  10. I need another day or two. This one was particularly bad.
  11. And the refs once again decide a game for the Pats. Marshall was set. What bull ****.
  12. OK Joe...you are on the record. Nice.
  13. What the hell? Is that a "yes" I'd rather have Fitz over Tyrod? You can't say "I'll take both".
  14. You speak for all of us. Thx
  15. Ok, so all of the "I always wanted to keep Fitz" fans are coming out of the woodwork. Put it on the record now: Would you rather have Fitz over Tyrod Taylor as our starting QB? (Not Fitz for EJ because EJ is backup). Go
  16. Yeah. They should dominate today. I'm thinking we shut down Yelden, which means Bortles will throw and we can sack him about 4 or 5 times. Gilmore will play press coverage and won't let Robinson have a 10 yd cushion on 3rd and 8. Can't wait for kickoff. This is where our D shines.
  17. Looks like a nice place Howard. The clubhouse appears large enough for 20-30 guys and a keg. We'll be down Saturday night. Say hi to Your lovely wife for us. And Howard.
  18. If you call DirecTV and ask for the Customer Satisfaction Department, tell them you are a lifelong Bills fan and were thinking of switching to DishNetwork...they will make it happen.
  19. You guys may laugh, but I always thought Thad Lewis had a good arm, was tough as nails and had a good head on his shoulders. I think he's worth a look considering our current predicament.
  20. $30 says Hogan suffers a broken tibula after twisting his leg on an errant EJ pass. #EJtheDestroyer
  21. Nice analysis. There's no way to "demand" more wins when Rex is 6 games in (5 with TT and 1 with EJ).
