  1. It drives me crazy how the Pats set pick plays 7 out of every 10 passes (it seems) and rarely ever get called for it. Panthers get nabbed on crucial 4th down play.
  2. Luck took quite the shot to the back of his head on that run. His Adams Apple looks less noticeable.
  3. Sorry, should have used plural: yews
  4. I don't care....it's my fantasy team damn it!!!!
  5. Does Yew make good firewood?
  6. Not at all. And I need him to score to win my fantasy matchup. He did run for a first down and proceeded to take 20 seconds to demonstrate that he obtained a first down for his team.
  7. Damn, watching the Colts fumbles, sacked, INT, penalties reminds me of our old team (not the new improved version we will see this week). And Cam seems to be acting kind of "punkish" for some reason.
  8. Yeah...Free Fallin' is pretty spot on.
  9. Yeah, that's a real slap. lol
  10. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/14037879/sammy-watkins-buffalo-bills-apologizes-insulting-online-commenters Sammy: "I just read back on my comments like, 'Nah, that don't sound right,'" Watkins said Monday. "I shouldn't have sent that because it not only affected the fans, just people in general that are working hard jobs every day, day to day, taking care of their kids, every job is the same. You wake up in the morning and go to work, clock the eight hours, so my job is the same as anybody else." Rex: "I just had a discussion with him. I talked with him," Ryan said. "And he's not proud of his thing. And I can understand why the fans would be upset with him. We were all upset with him. It doesn't represent who he is."
  11. I'll take the Colts at 5-11. Even though they have a franchise QB in Luck, they are not playing as a team. No run game. Bad Defense. Luck doesn't deserve to play with those scrubs.
  12. Yep, that's why I called it "Bye Week Muscles"....had we pummeled the Jags and showed some consistency in defense over the past four weeks, I would be happy with these various game scores. But when we continuously **** the bed with mediocre play, I would approach the Dolphins and Jets as Superbowl freaking champs if I was Rex. Waiting for other teams to "help us" make the playoffs is a sure sign of mediocrity.
  13. Jason Whitten would beg to differ.
  14. I love the "Bye Week Muscles" on this board. A few crappy and hapless teams lose and suddenly it makes our team look less hapless and crappy.
  15. "Expecting to win" and "confidence" is essential in a coach and players feed off it. But some of us have a quiet confidence that, in the event of a win or success in general, makes people take notice. Others are more pronounced in their confidence and when they win, it's kinda of "meh" but when they lose, everyone takes notice. I know Rex can't change his stripes, but I hope to see a more internal confidence from him and his players. Even if the D line gets 10 sacks against Tanneyhill, I'd love to see them give a solid interview and move on to the next game.
  16. I thought the Jags were a pushover....oh wait.
  17. Yeah...our D line is the ultimate myth.
  18. Not sure why he sent the whole O line out as captains for the Jags game....oh yeah, it was to mock Marrone. Turned out great Rex. Let's put IK out there just for laughs instead of picking out real leaders on our team as captains.
  19. There's no myth...just observation. It would have been more palatable for us to lose to the Pats than for us to lose and still wonder why Rex didn't know Dion Lewis' name...after all, he scored a TD against our vaunted defense. The same defense that was supposed to go from 4th to 1st in the NFL. No myths.
  20. Would rather lose without fanfare than have to lose AND take foot out of mouth every other week. If Geno brings the Jets back to win I am not feeling good about our chances. Neither Geno or Fitz are pushovers despite popular belief.
