I agree with you. As I see it now the draft is avg at best. Not sure how you got to the conclusion that if Allen is an all pro it’s avg from my post. But whatever. Logic away as you see fit.

I think there is some confusion with not liking the pick with not supporting Allen once the season begins. They are no where close to being inclusive. You want to lecture someone for not supporting their team you should talk to the Taylor haters who never supported their qb and called for his head even after the team made the playoffs. Disgusting. Yeah yeah he is last years news. But to say just cause you are a fan of this team you have to support their draft analysis is pure garbage. The negative reviews seem to be based in stats and the current film. Not on imaginary ideas. The positive ones are based on arm strength and some magical potential he has. Sure I hope he is the next Kelly. If he is not this draft is a complete disaster and the GM should be fired.

Avg at best draft. A total disaster if Allen is not a franchise QB w what was given up. The argument that at least they went for their guy is completely weak.

Not sure how you reason that some imagined future potential in a guy leads to a smarter pick than current proven talent. Especially when you compare the conferences they play in. Hopefully the strongest arm learns all the other dimensions of being a great QB. If he does not become great, the price paid will be a complete waste just like Watkins.

Giving up 2 second round picks to get a QB more productive than TT is not success.

This buffalo weather story is a little overblown. Statistically it’s not worse than Chicago or Cleveland or Green Bay. And look at Green Bay’s qb. He comes from Cali. My god how did he adjust? We have a franchise front office. Didnt the same teams pass on Allen? Its not the Allen pick alone. It’s the giving up of 3 picks in the 2nd and 3rd. Some fans see it that way. So it’s not as black and white as you make it.
