  1. The biggest "risk" of those 5 by pundits was by and far Cam Newton. Remember he was coined by a lot of folks as "Scam Newton" prior to that draft. Although, even in that context it still wasn't a stretch for a team to take him #1 overall.
  2. Remember when Von Miller said to Chan Gailey that he wanted Buffalo to draft him? Props to Denver.
  3. Mario Williams couldn't even beat a TE one on one.
  4. I am SOOOOOO HAPPY I don't have to hear about Bill Bellyache, Tom Birdy and Rob Gonkowski the next two weeks.
  5. The trumpets are bursting in air. I have never liked a political candidate as much as Donald Trump.
  6. I have always been of the opinion of overrated and flawed roster construction. But, according to Whaley's comments today he is indicating that it is going to be tough to even come up with the funds to just get Glenn and Incognito under contract. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/01/22/doug-whaley-our-cap-situation-is-pretty-restrictive-right-now/
  7. Also, keep in mind the 2015 base salary cap was 143 million. Even if you project generously that it will go up by 10 million that brings the base salary cap to 153 million. Even with that added extra 10 million and carryover (if there is even any) the Buffalo Bills will probably start the off season over the cap still or very, very close to it.
  8. Cutting Mario is only going to give the Bills money for Glenn and maybe a very small portion of Incognitos salary.
  9. Restructuring is a lot more difficult than people think as you need the players permission to do so. Deferring cap hits is also not a good plan either IMO especially if Tyrod ends up the guy and they have to sign him to a monster QB deal. Eventually you have to take the hit. The only player that will give the Bills potentially a few extra million is Clay. Restructuring won't do much in adding the needed cap space to sign 1st tier FA's if they are keeping Glenn and Incognito anyways.
  10. He is very restricted with how he and the Bills have handled the cap. No amount of magic will fix it unless you think releasing 1/3 of the roster is a good idea.
  11. If the team fails blame should fall equally on Whaley.
  12. The cap situation will negate "all the options" out there. The plausible options are keeping Incognito and Glenn and filling up on 2nd tier and 3rd tier players in free agency.
  13. Yup. Brandon and the rest of One Bills Drive successfully pulled the wool over the eyes of the fanbase on the hire by saying that he was a winner, that he was forward thinking, analytical and an aggressive head coach when it came to gameday decisions. I just laughed when I heard that.
  14. To be honest the only poster I remember not liking Marrone was a guy that referred to him as "Greggo" because it would be us two constantly in battle with the Marrone is "changing the culture", he is a good head coach narrative...until he quit anyways...
  15. So it was basically just me and you then?
  16. Let the Trumpets sound for the savior!!!
  17. The two bills drive narrative for 2 years before Marrone quit was that he was "changing the culture".

  20. How is Amendola not ejected after that? That is one of the dirtiest plays ever.
  21. Yup, but they are still treated as separate companies. You still need a separate XM online account and you have to call a different number to talk to their customer service for XM radios. You can't bundle XM and Sirius into one account which is so dumb.
  22. This is massively overstated. Mario and Marcel dropped back less than 5% of snaps.
  23. Fans should be more concerned about the current roster and the lack of cap space than changes in positional coaches. The former is going to be the main reason why this team succeeds or fails in 2016.
