  1. My favorite part about this whole Tim Graham tweet, we aren't suppose to believe the numbers that have been reported because we shouldn't know them. But he knows a guy who knows the numbers are wrong, how does this guy know(?), and therefore should believe Tim. Tim Graham @ByTimGraham · 1h LRT We aren't supposed to know the numbers. That's why you should be suspicious of anybody who reports a number. @Joe_Tauriello
  2. The case was settled in February, he pleaded to a lower charge of wet reckless driving, which is a lower version of DUI. But the point still remains, it's his 3rd major run in with the law, why hasn't he received any sort of punishment?
  3. I could have sworn I've read he hangs his head and dwells on plays. This must be one of those conflicting reports.
  4. No one has said that, it's been a bad game of telephone. Someone thought Timmy tweeted that Trump bid $1 Billion, what he actually said was $1. Then they guess that JBJs group was $1.2 billion and Pegula bid $1.3 billion, neither have been confirmed.
  5. Wow. That's crazy. I wondered if Pegula would put in a strong initial bid just to weed everyone out.
  6. How does one avoid domestic violence if there isn't any warning signs or history of it previously?
  7. Did someone say Shamwow?
  8. Marshawn Lynch would beg to differ... Somehow he still hasn't gone to trial for his.
  9. They agreed with it or it was bargained by the owners? It's quite possible they don't agree with the cutoff and do have a problem with it, but in order to bargain other parts of their agreement they had to agree to this type of testing. EDIT: And just because the NLPA agreed to it, doesn't mean it isn't a ridiculous test.
  10. I think any QB in NY is on the hot seat. That said, his season last year, wasn't all too promising, so I can see why he might be on the hot seat.
  11. IDK if I'd say teaming up. Meeting to discuss a proposed stadium, which I believe is part of committing to WNY.
  12. I'm pretty sure he didn't only throw 6 passes all practice. And if you read, the article stats they were all pretty much dump offs? And where have you read EJ only completed 50% of his passes? I mean Rodak even said he was 4 for 4 on one stretch.
  13. I've said this in another thread... If the NFL is all about money, please explain how they make more money in Toronto? The NFL makes it's money on TV revenue. The NFL is already being viewed in Toronto, they have a TV deal for Canada. That money is currently already being split between the 32 teams. The Canadian version of the FCC makes it impossible for deals like DirecTV to get done. No single cable provider can have exclusive rights. A team in Toronto possibly makes the owner more money. With more businesses and more money, there is a better chance for higher tickets(which are split between home and away teams) and luxury boxes(which aren't split) This is the same argument as the Los Angeles, fans assume the NFL will make more money in LA. The NFL is already making loads of money in LA.
  14. Seems like he really has a case, for failing the drug test. That's a really stupid way to test. If "A" is ok then no need to test "B" even if "B" is way over. But if "A" is over they test "B" and if it's under do nothing. Odd. Not sure how his DWI would play into it though.
  15. Not really that bothered about the comment. Let's put it this way, is there something you dislike, like say a resturant, that you wouldn't ever step foot in it? What about if they paid you? I take his comment as that... He wouldn't go out of his way to support a team in Toronto unless they paid him.
  16. Great write up Astro!
  17. Just got done reading the 49ers forum and a thread that was started before Colin Kaepernick's sophomore season and it is almost identical to what goes on here. Some people were saying he would become a Brian Brohm, haha. Just funny that all fans are the same.
  18. It's the same one as last year... It even has the trophy for who won last season. If you click on people you can see what they changed their team name from last season to this season. I remember you went all Bills.
  19. You mean which announcers? Or what station? NBC does it every year, not sure who will be calling the game.
  20. Not really a tweet, but no one is running a Friday training camp thread. Sammy, wired for sound: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-training-camps/0ap2000000369143/Sammy-Watkins-wired-for-sound
  21. To be fair, everyone was screaming to draft a QB (bold move). They did that, but apparently picked the wrong year.
  22. I was in last year, sent my PM over
  23. I can't make it to camp, but I haven't seen anyone really report on the alignment of the DL being "Wide 9". Just watched some camp highlight videos from camp, didn't see any "wide 9" alignment, so not sure how much it's being used.
  24. Where is the largest amount of revenue come from for the NFL? TV revenue. Buffalo, the team, yes could be worth more in Toronto, to the owner. Things that aren't collectively bargained, like suites, might sell more, therefore generating more revenue for the team. The NFL is already in that market, they have TV deals with multiple Canadian cable providers. So that's revenue the NFL is already splitting up as part of the $6 billion it gets annually. Canada is also a bit weird with regards to TV deals, per the CRTC (Canada's FCC) no one provider can have exclusivity. So deals like DirecTV, you won't see in Canada, providers won't be fighting over each other to get those deals. So could the NFL get more money out Toronto team? Maybe, but IMO, it wouldn't be nearly as much as you seem to think. It's almost the same as a team moving to Los Angeles. The NFL already has people watching the NFL in LA, it's not like it's a black out in terms of NFL games, so moving a team there doesn't generate more TV revenue, which again is where the NFL makes most of it's money. In a lot of ways not having a team in LA is helping the NFL. If the NFL really truly needed that LA market for revenue, they would have a team there, I guarantee that. Does it look good from a marketing perspective to have an international team? Sure. But the NFL is already in Toronto, making money, and making quite a bit.
